Katrina Law versus Michelle Ryan

(Bonzo's Gym vs Girls Friday)
Intro:
Two heated rivals face off once more to try and settle their feud,
Katrina Law and Michelle Ryan head to Santa Barbara's Butterfly beach
to fight.
Michelle is 33 years old, stands at 5'7 and holds a record of 18 wins,
15 by knockout and 13 defeats.
Katrina is 32 years old, stands at 5'8, she holds a record of 15 wins,
10 knockouts and 12 defeats.
These two have fought twice in their careers, with Michelle winning
the first fight by knockout in round 7, Katrina winning the second
earlier this year an an 8th round knockout to square things up.
So when the fighters met at the press conference, there of course was
fireworks as they went on stage, insults and finger pointing at each
other.
That turned into a slap from Michelle, the English girl upset by
losing the last battle between these two stunners, she hates Katrina
even more when she quickly fires back, leading to both fighters
clashing on the stage.
One hand in the others hair to control them, while they use their free
right hand to land some thudding slaps to anywhere they can get, jugs
seem to take a particular focus of both.
Security struggling to pry them apart, two big strong women locked
together, finally they do get them apart, but with both women having
some strands of hair out of their rivals head in their left hands.
The press conference is cancelled for these two as actions clearly
speak louder then words, both are still spitting insults as they are
dragged off stage.
Fighting time, Katrina is out first, she has Nadia Bjorlin with her as
she walks towards the ring set up in the beach itself, the fans in the
bleachers cheering her on.
She's wearing a black one piece swimsuit, white gloves and has her
long brunette hair tied into a braid as the fans wolfwhistles and
cheers her.
Climbing into the ring, she pumps her fist to the crowd, cheering her
on as she jogs to her corner, stretching to keep warmed up.
Now out comes Michelle, she has Taryn Terrell with her as the girls
march towards the ring with eyes only on Katrina.
Michelle is wearing a light blue one piece swimsuit with matching
gloves, her brunette hair is up in a ponytail and getting loud cheers
as well.
Climbing into the ring, she shouts "I'm going to f*** you up bytch!"
Katrina wanting to start things off early judging how Nadia has to
hold her back.
Michelle jogging to her corner to warm up, the referee telling both
girls to keep things clean, both fighters nodding as he waves them to
the ring centre.
Both snarl as they go nose to nose, trading venomous insults as the
hatred between these two is unreal.
Asked to touch gloves, they just head back to their corners, the
referee shaking his head, but signals for the bell to ring to start 10
rounds of welterweight action.
Round 1:
"Ding" out come the fighters, not much of a feeling out process
between these two fighters, a few measuring jabs exchanged to judge
range, then the bigger punches start to follow as the girls come in
close.
An early hot blooded exchange between the two, head to head as they
work the body, trying to put their mark on the fight early.
They need to separate as they dance around each other, kicking up sand
as they go, digging away through the others guard with long range
punches.
Katrina tries to push the tempo, stepping forwards to throw a
straight, Michelle parrying it away and landing a right hook to turn
her American opponent's head.
The first mistake between either of them allows Michelle to push
forwards, landing two more punches to the face of Law as she backs her
up.
Katrina forced onto her heels as Michelle slams her punches into the
guard of her opponent, backing her up to the ropes.
The girls fight hard on the ropes, Katrina trying to get herself off
the ropes, but the cleaner punches are coming from her opponent as
Michelle slams straight punches to her face to knock her head back.
Katrina needs to shove Michelle to get off the ropes and escape into
space to reset, Michelle trying to keep the pressure on, finds a
stubborn Katrina waiting for her as they nearly bump heads.
The fighting becomes scruffy as the reminding seconds of the round
tick away, till the bell rings and both just about hold fire.
A hard glare exchanged between the fighters as these two won't be
hugging anytime soon, jogging back to their corners soon enough.
Katrina on her way to hers throws a straight into thin air,
remembering that mistake that cost her the round, Nadia needing to
calm her down.
Michelle on the other hand has a rye smile, nodding to Taryn in her
corner, the Girls Friday corner the much happier, though both know
this is going to be one hell of a fight for both girls.
Round 2:
Both girls look warmed up, Katrina after taking the fight to Michelle,
finding that Ryan wants the same thing as they plant their feet and
trade.
Katrina parries a right from Michelle, starts backing her up with a
straight to her lips, throwing two more punches to the face of Ryan to
press her towards the ropes.
But she gets caught with an uppercut, not flush; enough for Michelle
to add three punches of her own to the nose of her rival.
Back and forth go the girls as they cancel each other out, they each
need to take a step back to take a moment to work out how to take
advantage of the other.
They circle and trade single punches over and around the other guards,
Katrina trying to push the action again, parrying a right and stepping
forwards to dig in two body shots in to make Michelle take a step
back.
Katrina looking happier as she presses Michelle towards the ropes, but
as she nearly gets her onto them, Michelle clinches up with her and
uses her momentum to switch their places, shoving Katrina onto the
ropes.
She manages to get a few punches to the abs of Katrina, before the
referee separates the girls as Ryan holds the right arm of Law.
The referee warns Michelle to me things clean, waving the girls back
on, with seconds to go, the girls let their hands go, slugging it out
to try to win the round.
The bell rings to end the round with the fighters stepping back, a few
words being exchanged as both notice some blood coming from the others
lips.
Back into their corners, they are getting cleaned up with neither of
their coach saying much as they don't know what to say after such a
close round, it is going to come down to a major mistake for one girl
to really take advantage.
Round 3:
Again both come out hard, dancing around the other, they throw several
punches and step back to try and make the other miss.
Soon Katrina misses with a straight as Michelle slips past it and
lands two cross punches to rattle Law enough that she is forced back a
step and covers up.
You can see Katrina's face is a mask of frustration, she is forced to
retreat back around the ring as Michelle gives chase.
A right catches Katrina to the body, she misses with a counter right
and Michelle lands two punches through the gap to the cheeks of her
opponent.
Michelle looking to press the action now, Katrina stuck in reverse as
she takes another right to the body, followed by a left cross to her
face.
If not for good footwork, Katrina would be knocked into a corner,
instead she ducks out the way of a jab and steps into space.
Resetting herself, Katrina takes a deep breath as once more Michelle
looks to get right back into her face, but Katrina now plants her feet
leading to both standing and trading.
This time it's Katrina who comes off the better, ducking under a right
cross and lands an overhand right to knock Michelle to the side a
step.
Suddenly it's Law on the front foot, slamming four punches to the face
of Michelle, knocking her towards a corner as her eyes look like she
wants to rip Ryan's head off, she's that intense.
Michelle again clinches up with her, stopping the momentum dead and
frustrating Katrina even more, the referee needed to separate the
snarling fighters.
Once they are apart, Katrina is too eager to press on, missing with a
wild right and taking a hard straight to the lips of her fellow
brunette.
The bell rings to end the round with Michelle landing a right cross on
the "ding" some wondering if it was after, one person is Katrina as
she calls Michelle a cheating bytch!
The referee just about holds both bloodied girls back as they spit
insults at each other, coaches needed to pull the girls back.
Once back to their stools, they are warned to keep things calm, focus
on beating their opponent as they get their bloody lips patched up
again.
Round 4:
Michelle starting the round the better by landing a double jab and
leaning out the way of a counter straight from Katrina.
The English fighter trying to keep control of her rival, jabbing away
at the guard, trying to look for an opening as she backs her up.
Katrina though ducks under a right and steps in to land an overhand
right, Michelle groaning as she is being pressed back by an angry Law.
Knocked to the ropes, Michelle is getting hammered to her sides,
trying to be smart and clinch up again, this time though she gets
clipped to the chin by a right and is back on the ropes.
Katrina hammering away at the guard, wanting to knock Michelle's head
off her shoulders, the crowd roaring as they seem to be fully behind
her.
This time though Michelle manages to clinch up, taking two punches to
her lips that cause her to yelp out, Katrina can be seen whispering to
Michelle, who looks irate.
The girls are separated and Michelle comes back at Katrina, landing a
right cross, missing a follow up left as the girls fall in close
again.
Head to head, both their bodies look red from all the punishment
they've dealt to each other, but it's Katrina who wisely opens up
space between them with a nudge with her left and lands a big right to
knock Michelle back another step.
The round ending with Katrina shouting "come on!" As she heads back to
her corner, things finally seem to be heading her way.
Michelle now looks frustrated, she's fought well but cannot find an
off switch for her most bitter rival, Taryn cleaning her face up, her
left cheek is swelling up to add to her worries.
Round 5:
Out to the ring centre goes both fighters, both land several straight
punches over the others guard before separating for a moment.
Michelle looks to be the more aggressive now, stepping forwards with a
hard looking right hook, Katrina slips under it and as the English
fighter takes to step out the way of the counter, she looks to have
made a fatal error to her plan.
A right hook from Katrina lands flush on the chin of Michelle, her
legs turn to jelly as she stumbles towards the ropes.
She ends up holding the top rope with Katrina quick to give chase, a
left hook viciously slamming into the face of Michelle, putting her
down in a heap in the sand on her side.
The referee checks on Michelle, seeing she's out cold; he waves the
fight off as she will be sleeping this defeat off for a while.
Winner: Katrina Law KO Round 5
After:
Katrina jogs over to her corner and mounts the bottom rope, tapping
her chest with her right glove, she shouts "I'm better then that
bytch!" As the crowd seem to agree judging by their loud cheer for
her.
Medics help Michelle safely to her back, after some smelling salts
under her nose, Michelle returns from the land of nod to see a gleeful
looking Katrina staring at her.
"I am f***ing better than you! I always will be!" Roars Katrina, not
pulling any verbal punches after all the bad blood these two have
shared for years.
Katrina pulls Michelle up to her feet, as much as the English girl
would love to complain or better yet fight back, she isn't in the
shape to do either as she is forced to do a lap of shame, Katrina
holding her up as she shouts to the crowd "she's my bytch now!"
Michelle doesn't have the heart to look up, she just stares at the
ground, wishing it would swallow her, feeling embarrassed and mostly
rage as she wants to hurt Katrina badly for this result.
Katrina shoves Michelle onto her stool after they complete a full lap,
telling Taryn "take her out of here now before things really do get
ugly for her"
Michelle tries to look defiant, but as Taryn helps her up and out the
ring, she looks a mess, grimacing as she leaves the place where
Katrina has taken a 2 to 1 lead in their feud.
Katrina meanwhile hugs Nadia, before getting her gloves taken off and
bowing to each side of the ring as a thank you to her fans.
Soon she leaves the ring, joking to Nadia "I could do with a vacation,
maybe sunbathing for a month right here" both girls grinning as they
go.
Katrina is turning into a dangerous sleeper in the elite of the
welterweight pic, maybe with more work she can become the champion
even.
The main thing for her right now is she has the lead over Michelle in
their "war" another fight will happy one day, but that maybe won't
last forever as Michelle will want more.
