TESS VALMORE
BLEDEL/LEVY This is Bledel’s third visit to the Asylum. Without the Asylum, she would be virtually unemployed. She has had three fights in her career and lost them all. She lost two in the fourth round and the other in the sixth. Levy got back on track at the June Asylum. Bledel won’t set a personal record for lasting in a fight. Levy by a KO before the end of round six
HARMON/TORV Once again Torv goes after the geriatric set. Harmon is 45 and is the seventh over 40 fighter Torv has fought recently. The Wiz has pointed out that she once held the title. That was not the unified title, but a divisional title (Paramount) That was eleven years ago. Harmon has had five fights in the last ten years and two in 2015 were at the Asylum. Harmon’s last win was on 12/25/07. That's right, almost ten years ago. Torv is a good fighter. A win will pad her record, but not her reputation. Torv by a KO
LONGORIA/STEWART I think it is apparent that Stewart and I are not exactly soul mates. I have said she is the most babied fighter in the FCBA. She is being fed Longoria, who it is pointed out that she is a former champion. When you ask? Well she was champion for 22 days in 2005. Yep 12 years ago. How she done recently? She has lost her last five and her last win was way back in 2010. She even lost to Ghadie. Add another win to Stewarts record.
TAILOR/UTGAARD To tell the truth I really don’t pay much attention to the New Blood fights. To me, it is just a fight between newbies, none of whom may be any good. I don’t know anything about Tailor. She may be great. Utgaard, I know. She is undefeated going into this bout and she will be undefeated after it. Utgaard by a KO
DUFF/BENNET Yes Duff, who is now 40, is a former champion. She reigned for 25 days in 2011. On 4/23/11 she pulled off one of the biggest upsets in bantam history, if not the biggest, by beating Dushku by a decision and taking the title. She has been inactive in the last four years having only one bout which she lost to Cheryl Cole. Bennet is one of Front Street’s good bantams. I seriously doubt Duff is going to pull another upset. Bennet by a KO
WAGNER/ARTERTON I like Wagner. Although she has been in the FCBA five years longer than Arterton she has had less fights. Over the years, she has beaten some fine fighters like Yustman. Winstead. Swan and yes Arterton. She beat Arterton back in 2013 before Arterton joined Front Street. She is by far the best Front Street opponent on this card. This will be her first fight in over a year
Arterton lost her title earlier this year but won her bout on the April Asylum. It’s definitely not out of the realm of possibility that Wagner could win this bout, Possible, not probably. Arterton evens the score with a KO win setting up a best of three.
