Our reporter and his blonde companion sit watching baseball and basketball at Bazz with Cassandra Lynn Scerbo, Poindexter Del Crunchy, and the Man In The Hat.
Reporter: "So, guys, two brand new stables debuting this weekend..."
Pointy: "Always good to see some new organizations joining up..."
Cassie: "And, they've both got some interesting fighters on board..."
Tess: "What do you think, Wiz?"
Man In The Hat: "Well, what I noticed was the fact that the two used different methods to build the stables..."
Reporter: "How so?"
Cassie: "Are you really that DENSE, Smackey?"
Pointy (laughing): "I THINK what Wizardo is referring to is the fact that Streamer Influencer Fight Club brought in all new talent, girls who had never fought in the FCBA before..."
Man In The Hat: "Correct. And, this is something that's become more of a fashion in the new era of the FCBA..."
Cassie: "Back in the Sim Era, most stables built the way Front Street did..."
Man In The Hat: "Exactly. By finding fighters who've had some FCBA experience, maybe just a little, but either haven't had management opportunities or lost management for whatever reason. That's what Knockout Artists Productions did. It's a little trickier way to build. Our former Commissioner called in playing 'Moneyball'. It might be similar to that. But, like I said, it's tricky. I think we did pretty well. There were some disappointments, but we hit some home runs with girls like Stewart, Park, Decker, Torv, and, of course, Neve, who all won titles for us."
Tess: "How do you think Knockout Artists did?"
Man In The Hat: "VERY well. Nigri's a girl who was beating people before she lost management. Schmidt has a TON of potential, and so do Somers and Lautenbach. Decker could be a factor at fly, and Khan will at LEAST be a factor at JMDD. I like it. I like it a lot."
Reporter: "There's been some talk this week about striking while the iron is hot at welter..."
Man In The Hat (smiling): "Son, we have played this game before. We are not going to play it again. We are not going to keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. What we ARE going to do is keep working and try to find a way to break into the elite. When we do that? We'll be open for business. Until we do, we're going to keep working. Now, let's watch some ball, shall we?"
