I have been asked to go into more details about the AMD championship fight on the upcoming PPV. So here's the important details:
1. The "ring" is a 16' square spray-painted on the road in front of the arena
2. 2 feet past the ring is a chain link fence defining the 'apron"
3. Fighters can and almost certainly will throw and slam each other into the chain link
4. This is an ABS of mass destruction fight. No punching above the shoulder. Slaps, cuffs and other open-handed blows to the head are allowed, but not closed-fist strikes
5. Given the nature of the ring, the interval between rounds will be extended by 10 seconds, allowing the corner crews time to exit the cage. During this extra time, fighters may close with each other, but may not start punching each other until the bell.
Hopefully this makes the particulars of the fight clear.

This is madness, I love it. Surprised Caspian is not involved with such insanity.

The beauty of AMD matches (and any other with special rules) is that any manager can take the ruleset and run with it. I'm just going to be a happy observer with (cage)-side tickets for this one.
