TESS VALMORE
It’s been a couple years since we have published a list of the members of the Hall Of Fame. Since we seem to have a number of new readers, I decided to do the list
The requirements for the list go back to 2010. The number of fights required was set at 100. At the time, it would take an active fighter at least seven years to get that many fights and would show durability and the ability to remain an attractive opponent. A required win ratio was established at 60% which was basically the idea of the commissioner, Simguy, who held that winning 60% of fights was outstanding. He proved to be right. That win ratio has been accomplished a very small number, when number of fights is taken into consideration. There has been some suggestion that the required number of fights be reduced. That simply is not going to happen. The required number of fights is attainable
THE CURRENT MEMBERS
CHARLIZE THERON More on her later
DANI FISHEL
LUCY LUI
JENNIFER GARNER
ELIZA DUSHKU
ALI LANDRY
CATHERINE BELL
MICHELLE WILLIAMS
BRITNEY SPEARS
JENNIFER O’DELL
CLARE DANES
JAMIE PRESSLY
JESSICA BIEL
NEVE CAMPBELL
KALEY CUOCO
NATALIE PORTMAN
The records of the above members are readily available on the superb history website maintained by Archer and Vassago
Theron is an exception. Her record in the history would be enough to make her the GOAT, but there is more. (Note the are some very minor differences between our records and those or Archer) She won 29 championships spread across four divisions (the 1999 featherweight division was actually a bantam) There are approximately 27 active US stables plus a couple active, based overseas. Theron has won more titles than any of the stables no matter how many members, with the exception of two whose combined membership contain Hall Of Fame members. Medallion has three Hall Of Fame members and Foxfire which has two and a potential third. Her number of knockouts exceeds the number of fights of nine of the Hall Of Fame members. Her win ratio of 70% is the highest of any Hall OF Fame member even after 365 fights and some horrendous mismanagement recently. In her career, she fought at least 80 fighters who held titles, fighting many more than once including ten Hall Of Fame members, In fact she fought two Hall Of fame members each more than fifteen times, She was in the first three part fight. I believe she invented the body saddle. You think JMD is special, take a look at Kidman/Theron 1/1/2004. There were special tournaments where she fought every fight and had no control over who here opponents were. There was one which she had no control of the weight of the opponent. It goes on and on. Just shows there will never be another Theron. I guess it is like reading about a sports contest. If you weren’t there, you just don’t know what it was like.
