Our reporter and his blonde companion sit in the Man In The Hat's office at Front Street.
Reporter: "So, Wiz, nice win for Ratchford. You've always been a fan of hers."
Man In The Hat: "Have, indeed. Lots of talent. Girl you can push a lot of ways. Would have been a great fit at 3.0..."
Tess: "As I recall, you considered bringing her in back when she was a free agent..."
Man In The Hat: "Sure did. And, if we'd been then who we are now? We'd have done that."
Reporter (smiling): "SPEAKING of girls you like a lot who can be pushed a lot of places, Utgaard is still a free agent..."
Man In The Hat (nodding): "Sure is. And, I'm a little surprised. I know she didn't have a lot of success at her last stop, but those physicals..."
Tess: "Here's the part where my betrothed hints that maybe Front Street is going to sign her and you remind him that the roster is full."
Man In The Hat: "And, you know what ELSE I want to remind him of? How great chef's Coq au Vin is..."
Tess: "Let's GO!"

Watching on from home the Hour Glass Fitness manager listens to the broadcast and wonders herself if Antje Utgaard would want to come to the Brighton stable? Louise Redknapp: “Hmmm, that’s interesting? I know we are close to signing another couple of girls to complete our Roster and be ready for the next JMD and JMDD contests when they come. We just need to get the contracts signed now with them both, but could Kerry and I secure some additional budget and sign Utgaard too? She certainly looks the type of girl Kerry would like to train?”

Re: Antje Utgaard It takes more than "good physicals" to be successful at JMD/JMDD. (You could ask any number of 'well qualified' FCBA fighters who never achieved success at that discipline!) It takes "good mentals" for a woman to commit to doing the hard training (and to taking punishment of her 'pride and joys' for her to prevail and be successful at it. IF you sign her, I wish Antje all the best...though her track record (so far) doesn't make me optimistic.

Louise Redknapp: It’s interesting to read of somebody else’s view on a potential new member of our roster. We at Hour Glass Fitness are trying to recruit the best female fighters from both here in the UK and worldwide, as well as giving some other ladies a second chance in the FCBA and look to ensure they have the same level of success in the boxing ring then they do as a singer or actress. Should we be in a position to sign Antje Utgaard, then Kerry and I will make sure that both her every member of our roster is committed to training and preparation of the highest level needed to succeed. Kerry and myself did not have the best of FCBA or BBU careers, but we have learnt from what we did wrong and will make sure that none of the girls from Hour Glass Fitness will make the same mistakes.”
