Rosie Huntington-Whiteley out on assignment tonight, Natalie Dormer is joined by Queens Co-General Manager Elizabeth Lail tonight to discuss housekeeping and the Lightweight title changing hands. We join the duo in the midst of the interview recorded live before a studio audience at Queen’s Complex in Studio 13.
Natalie: Well Elizabeth, it’s that time of year where rosters can dramatically be shaken up, reorganizations happen, and so on. How are the Queens positioned?
Elizabeth: As the Queens just acquired two incredibly beautiful talents - Monica Ollander and Katelyn Byrd, we will not be adding anyone else to the roster. The Queens underwent three reorganizations in one year but we’re at a place now where everything is stable.
Natalie: What about our ex parte fighters?
Elizabeth: We enjoy having Sabrina and Sophie around but that would be the only way our roster would actually change - if the agreements we reached were intruded upon regarding them. Then we’d find two excellent prospects to take their place.
Natalie: In essence, the roster is complete.
Elizabeth: Yes, it is now full and I don’t see that changing for the foreseeable future.
Natalie: They make their debut at Queens Anniversary, don’t they?
Elizabeth: Yes they do and in great positions of power in the way they will be fielded in competition.
Natalie: There you have it, the Queens roster is at its limit and the last two fighters to make their debut on the Queens roster will be doing so on November 22nd at the Kia Forum here in Los Angeles. Well, if you don’t mind, let’s move on to the Lightweight title changing hands.
Elizabeth: A shocking development and fitting as you get ready to face Chopra for the Bantamweight title.
Natalie: If Stana can pull off an upset like that, imagine what would happen if two upsets take place this month with regard to the lineal titles.
Elizabeth: Hey, I signed off on the match so you have my support. Do you think she’ll keep it long?
Natalie: In all honesty, no. Not to belittle any efforts but Stana was fought by Saraya, or Paige - depending on what you want to call her, and she sent her out of the ring if I’m not mistaken. Might have been Natasha who sent Keira Knightley out of the ring.
Elizabeth: I’d have to watch the tapes again but yes, that’s the point, that’s the competition she’s facing. Girls like Saraya and Natasha could easily beat Stana for the title given the shot.
Natalie: Really it’s stiff competition that will shorten her reign then. Nevertheless, we do want to congratulate Katic on becoming the FCBA Lightweight Champion - whether you reign is short or long lived.
For now, we’ll be right back after this.
