Continuing on the heels of a morning time live stream on social media by the Consortium featuring Michelle Williams, Natalie Portman, Dove Cameron, and an HISC higher-up, we join Natalie Dormer and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Studio 13 of Queen’s Complex for Late Night Before the Bell with Natalie Dormer this evening. Before the Bell is recorded before a live studio audience.
Natalie: I am sure you all have seen by now that the Consortium announced Michelle William’s retirement but… what a cop out it was. I understand not wanting to take questions from Tractorpull Magazine or BLONDE! or the media in general but there is a very famous line one can use: “we will not be accepting any questions [at this time].” Not create a spectacle that leaves the media waiting for an empty board room announcement to so-called ‘influencers.’ What a f*cking joke.
RHW: This just reeks of they know they made a mistake and really don’t want to face the tough questions of why they allowed it to begin with.
Natalie: Well, today spelled the end of Michelle’s career and her entrance into retirement. I also don’t think anyone is going to pick her up again after her comments that she thinks she better than an entire division so that’s why she’s retiring.
RHW: That really did take nerve from someone who was defeated in such a spectacular fashion.
Natalie: Indeed. She’d probably find herself on the other end of a beatdown in the Cougar division. She’s not the best, she’s really not that good to begin with. Really she should have said ‘I’m ending my competitive boxing career because I got my a** kicked and there’s nobody I can compete against because they’re all above my level.’
RHW: Wow, you’re really not holding back with this one, Natalie. What has you so riled up about this as you usually don’t care.
Natalie: Just that statement. I’ll tone it down from here on… maybe.
RHW: So she admitted she thought she’d be flyweight champion without a shadow of a doubt.
Natalie: Well, as Michelle put it, we now have thirteen rounds that say she never was. And she never was, to be clear. That was supposed to be Dove’s fight and Michelle got exactly what she deserved for putting herself before her stablemate and so called protege.
RHW: What do you think of Brec Bassinger being used as another excuse and reason for the retirement.
Natalie: Well, Brec is a bit of a mystery. She’s a pain in our sides too. I’m not sure what she’s doing but whatever she’s doing she’s doing right because the girl isn’t really as tough as some of her opponents yet she has taken them all down.
RHW: She has, hasn’t she. That’ll have to be a discussion for another time. Brec, if you’re watching, we’d love to have you on if only to learn more about what drives you in the ring to actually put away tougher opponents.
Natalie: You know, I didn’t keep up with Michelle’s career - she really did claim to be the ‘best ever’ and says the claim was stolen from her. I would make a comment about this but she seems to realize she played with fire once too many times and got burned by Vanessa Hudgens who really does have it coming to her.
It won’t be Camila Mendes, she’s a joke herself but it will be someone who brings a reckoning like no other on Vanessa.
RHW: So the relationship between Dove and Michelle has come to a close; where does that leave Dove?
Natalie: Honestly, I am unsure. Dove will forge her own path forward and she deserves that chance. As for Vanessa, she will fall and when she does it will be hell for her.
