Studio 13, home of Late Night Before the Bell with Natalie Dormer is back live for its second episode since Toronto’s events as we join the recording of Late Night Before the Bell already in progress with Queens TV personalities Natalie Dormer and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Late Night Before the Bell is recorded before a live studio audience.
RHW: So Stanford Steve doesn’t ‘get’ some of the other matches of the FCBA. Doesn’t that make him less qualified to speak on betting in matches in general?
Natalie: Well, in some ways, I get where he’s coming from but in others, it sort of does. Take the beach for example. The beach is just a regular FCBA boxing match held on the beach - whether that’s in a boxing ring or on the sand is up to the architects of the match. Of course, the big one I will point out because it’s featured this month is Body Saddle. Again, all it is, is a regular FCBA boxing match with a stipulation of what happens in the post match. He makes a fair point about Ice Hotel.
RHW: Natascha has a point about AMD/D.
Natalie: It hasn’t gained the traction of JMD/D yet and it might not ever be as popular but it is a battle of endurance - not many girls have the core strength to make it through AMD. In the top ten of Bantamweight I’d say maybe Bella Thorne and that’s it for example. In Welterweight take Kate Upton - she wouldn’t last two seconds against Evelina Mamajeva in AMDD. Stables don’t like to be ranked far back and AMD/D upsets the balance. So like any new thing it meets resistance but it will overcome it because it completely throws for a loop what to expect out of a match.
RHW: So what do you make of the bets?
Natalie: While I can’t speak much for the chosen fights this time around, I do see Thorne, Swift, and of course, Sophie and myself winning. I’d be remiss if I said I would lose.
(Laughing)
RHW: So the Queens came off the largest event we ever hosted only to enter a number of matches when we said we were only going to offer Sabrina Carpenter and Sophie Turner for October.
Natalie: Negotiations. Sometimes it happens. We’re pretty much in the last month we can have a beach bout in the Northern Hemisphere and Chrissy as well as Danielle are going to feel the cold ocean air on their bare skin as they face down two adversaries in updated gauntlet style matches. Sophie and Sabrina are in on the action this month but will definitely be apart of Queen’s Anniversary. Of course, I am taking on Summer Glau. And Evelina is taking on Valery Kaufman.
RHW: I’m happy to see Danielle getting a stream of work now with the Queens as well as Evelina holding the Welterweight fort down. It’s also exciting to see you back in the ring - get us another victory!
Natalie: I will do my best.
RHW: I know it’s far out, but Kat’s taking on quite the challenge with Kat’s Christmas.
Natalie: I’m excited for her. Initially, according to Kat, it was going to be “Kat’s 12 Days of Christmas” but Amy thought that might be a bit too much so it got cut to five. She’s looking for challengers already but no one has quite stepped up to face her in December.
RHW: I’m sure they will come.
Natalie: Indeed. In the meantime, we’ll be back right after this.
