Our reporter sits in The Great Room at The Manor watching baseball and sipping cold beverages with Poindexter Del Crunchy and the Man In The Hat.
Reporter: "So, guys, couple of big fights for Front Street on this pay-per-view..."
Pointy: "We've been looking to make a move at welter. Kennedy's a girl we can do that with. She's been fighting well at both weights. Thumann has physicals and is looking like a comer. Going to be a challenge for Kennedy for sure."
Man In The Hat: "The bigger thing there is, we haven't had a ton of success with our bigs this year. We've won fights, sure, but the big fights, not so much. We're lookin' for traction there, and Kennedy can give us that."
Reporter: "Are you surprised Chloe got a title fight?"
Man In The Hat: "Well, you never EXPECT to get a title fight. But, Chloe's certainly deservin'. Chopra's on quite a roll. Not many girls would be favored over Bennet, but Priyanka is. So, we'll see if we can surprise some people..."
Reporter: "You were talking about this year at light and welter, and, we've talked before that you only have five girls in the upper weights and nine in the lower. Are there thoughts about balancing things...maybe just one move, since so many of your bigs fight both weights?"
Pointy: "Son, this isn't a bloody baseball roster. We don't need so many hitters and so many pitchers. We've got 14 good fighters here. It's not a matter of saying we'll cut a bantam to add a welter. That's not how the FCBA operates...or it shouldn't be."
Man In The Hat: "Agreed. All decisions have to be individual ones. It can't be about 'we need one more of those'. When you HAVE an opening, it can be. But, like Pointy says, it's not baseball."
Reporter: "One more question. No challenges this PPV. Why?"
Man In The Hat: "Simple. We were GOING to make some challenges and then we got two we liked and we accepted. So, we'll have eight fights this month. We'll be back to challengin' next month as usual. Now. Let's watch some ball, shall we."
