At one point, she manages to trap Alexis against the ropes, pinning her there as she delivers a relentless flurry of right crosses sunk into the tummy, interspersed with high swings for the fences, hoping to take her head off, and forcing gasps of exertion from the trapped Vixen. Meanwhile, the Australian crowd is on its feet, roaring in approval, with the underdog fighter having her day. When the bell finally rings, a dazed and battered Alexis heads back to her corner, nursing what appears to be a slight swelling under her eye, while Rayner, despite her exhaustion, looks supremely confident, absorbing the adulation of the crowd. However, just when it looks like Rayner might continue her dominance, Ren digs deep, dodging another swing for her head, and then, with a defiant roar, lunging back with a fierce uppercut that makes brunette’s head snap back! Suddenly, the tables turn, and Alexis begins to press her advantage! Her punches find their mark more frequently now, with a particularly brutal jab leaving a vivid red mark on Rayner’s cheek, shoving her head back and making her wary for the rest of the round. The crowd's mood shifts as both fighters give it their all, trading blows in the center of the ring in a visceral dance of fists stuck into skin and torsos. Finally, it’s a close call when the bell rings, with both fighters left battered and exhausted, Alexis, her comeback in the final round evident, exudes a cautious confidence as she makes her way back to her corner with a pumped fist, aware that she’s narrowly clinched this round.

And then, in a blink, the turning point arrives.Seeing an ever-so-slight drop in Stephanie’s guard, Alexis explodes forward, pivoting on her rear foot, and landing a thunderous cross hand straight to the jaw. The impact is devastating - Rayner’s head snaps backwards and to the side, her eyes glazed, and her body crumpling like a felled tree. Here comes the referee, who starts the count, his voice booming overhead! "One... Two... Three..." Rayner, her senses scattered, tries to rise, her gloves pressing down against the canvas, trying to push herself up. Her legs wobble, clearly not having received the memo from her brain that they need to stand. "Six... Seven... Eight..." Meanwhile, Ren stands poised in a neutral corner, her chest heaving, her eyes locked onto her fallen adversary, perhaps silently willing her to stay down. "Nine... Ten!” And that’s it! The referee waves it off!

AFTER:
Ren's team surrounds her, showering her with accolades and jubilation. Her sweat-glistened face wears a wide, triumphant smile, but her celebrations aren't confined to just her team. With an almost predatory grin, Alexis saunters over to where Rayner is being attended to. Then, crouching down, Ren smirks as she roughhouses Stephanie by the chin, forcing the defeated brunette to look up at her.
"Thought you had me, huh?" Ren sneers, her voice dripping with condescension. "Guess you're just another notch on my list. Better luck next time... if there is one."
She releases Stephanie abruptly, causing her to slump back down, then stands tall and turns her attention to Kendall Jenner in the front row. Her voice grows louder and even more defiant, ensuring every word reaches the supermodel's ears.
"And you, Jenner! You think you stand a chance? Look at your friend here! Come October, you'll be just like her, down and out. Prepare to taste the canvas!"
Alexis doesn't hold back, blowing exaggerated kisses in Kendall’s direction and flashing a mock salute, coupled with a few choice gestures that clearly communicate her rude intent to dominate their impending clash.
In the press conference that follows, Alexis, still riding high on adrenaline, takes the stage with swagger.
