Late Night Before the Bell returns from its break on MAX and from Between the Scenes with the AMDD Champion: Bridget Satterlee. Satterlee, joins Rosie and Natalie as the film cameras go live to capture A-Roll for the show. Late Night Before the Bell is recorded in front of a live studio audience.
Natalie: Welcome back everyone! We’re joined here by special guest Bridget Satterlee who has won the Queens our first title. And I just looked it up in the FCBA Record Book, Bridget, you had a record run.
Bridget: What! I did?
Natalie: According to the FCBA Record Book, the woman who had the “Fewest Fights to Win Any Title” was Demi Rose Mawby with three.
RHW: Wait, let me see that… huh… she’s right.
Natalie: To ANY Title you did it in three. You earned your first title in three FCBA matches and the record stipulates ANY Title, not the lineal ones which have their own entry.
Bridget: Technically, it was one if you want to get down to the fact that the AMDD title run was decided in one match. But I know what you mean.
Natalie: Looks like the 2022 record book needs an update with Bridget’s name for the 2023 edition. Well, I mean this is digital so all they have to do is add your name, not release an entire new book. But I’m sure there might be other records out of date.
RHW: Congratulations on holding a record, Bridget.
Bridget: Thank you! It’s an honor to know that I am actually in a prestigious group.
Natalie: You really are, I mean for a lineal title, Bridget Regan holds the record at six. Going to try and break the record?
Bridget: We’ll have to see. I’m ranked 39th just behind Elyse in Lightweight and for some reason I’m just missing from Welterweight in Boxing World Online’s rankings so it’d be quite a leap to do it in six. But I’m happy to hold any title - that’s an accomplishment in of itself.
Natalie: You’re absolutely right.
RHW: So let’s talk about your thoughts on the other fight that happened this weekend: Danielle versus Candice Patton.
Bridget: Oh, hands down Danielle. I’m glad she won. Candice just rubs me the wrong way.
Natalie: It’s criminal how her career has been. Hopefully the Queens can change that for her. Danielle deserves steady fights.
RHW: Yes she does.
Natalie: So Bridget, before we go to another break, any thoughts on the September PPV.
Bridget: Rosie, you better win. Saraya has trained you hard.
RHW: I know… it still hurts.
Bridget: I think Cintia won’t have any problems. She’s tall, lean, fit, and athletic. Frankly, she was or is an inspiration of mine. As for Tiera, how the hell did no one notice Ireland is as tall as Evelina?
Natalie: That’s a good question but maybe Amy or Elizabeth arranged it to demonstrate Tiera.
Bridget: Tiera is really strong. Like I know I’d struggle against her and might even lose to her. In the same right, while not on a national streaming platform, she’s told me she’d probably lose to me. However, her and Natasha are just overwhelmingly strong so I don’t know about that.
Natalie: You know outside the ring Natasha is the ‘party’ one and Tiera is the serious one but in the ring Natasha is just a predator.
Bridget: I’ve noticed that.
RHW: Natasha has a complex in the ring. Not that it’s a bad thing. It makes her mean in the ring. Tiera, I guess since she’s a little bit older, has grown out of that phase. Either way, I wouldn’t want to face one or both of them.
Natalie: Indeed.
Bridget: Natalie, your producer is drowning.
Natalie: Oh sh*t, we’ll be back after this.: Oh sh*t, we’ll be back after this.
