Here are our current challenges and acceptances for this month so far. We recognize that there are other competing events coming up that may prevent all of our matches from taking place, but here are a few we're interested in or have accepted: Millie Bobby Brown versus Lucy Hale
Brie Larson versus Anya Chalotra
Kylie Jenner versus Elizabeth Turner
Hailee Steinfeld versus Nina Dobrev
Vanessa Hudgens versus Cierra Ramirez (Flyweight Title)
Dua Lipa versus Yvonne Strahovski (Lightweight Title)
Blake Lively versus Kate Upton (Welterweight Title)
If we have missed anything, I apologize. We are naturally open to any other challenges or ideas that other managers might have, so I'll look forward to hearing any ideas and seeing what takes place on the PPV! Thanks to everybody for their help this month and stay safe! -Lookout! Boxing

Imagine if this ends up being a clean sweep Has any stable ever held three lineal titles simultaneously in the past?

Imagine if this ends up being a clean sweep Has any stable ever held three lineal titles simultaneously in the past? Not, I believe, in the current era. Not sure if it happened in the Sim era. I DO know that Adriana Lima held three (not lineal of course) titles at the same time. Mistress of the Body Saddle, Queen of the Ice Hotel, and the Unified Lightweight Championship. And, that's all the more impressive as there were fewer titles around in those days.

Lucy Hale is committed to fighting Roxanna Perez, but the PLP would be happy to arrange for MBB to fight Danielle Campbell this month in Lucy's place.

How does Cierra Ramirez get a title shot? ? I thought that a fighter had to win 5 fights in a row or something like that. Cierra has lost 2 of her last 3.

As far as I know, we do not have any such rules as to who qualifies for a championship opportunity. Here’s a little history on title shots…since I started here in 2010, anyway. At the beginning, folks challenged for a shot, and the manager of the champion simply chose among the challengers. I kind of beat the drum for ending that, because I (and several others) believed it should be the champion’s prerogative. She has the belt. She should make the offer. And that’s what we do now. All managers handle those decisions differently. Some pick the girl at the top of the rankings. Some have policies about how long it’s been since a girl or a stable’s last title fight. (I, for one, like to spread those shots around, because I well remember how hard it was for a new stable to get one.) And, sometimes, you don’t get the opponent you offer the shot to. Maybe she’s already committed to fight someone else or going in a different direction. You might have to make two or three offers before you get a match made. It’s not an exact science, but, I think Hudgens/Ramirez will be a great fight between two excellent fighters…and what’s wrong with that?

How does Cierra Ramirez get a title shot? ? I thought that a fighter had to win 5 fights in a row or something like that. Cierra has lost 2 of her last 3. For what it's worth, all of the managers that have responded have been right. I am glad that it's champions choice now which is a welcome change as every manager has their own criteria but there is no set number of wins that have to be accrued in a row prior to getting a title shot. To be honest, we did offer the title shot to a few other managers first but we still feel like Cierra is a spectacular choice. For us, the important thing is that Cierra won her last match as we don't want them to have a losing streak coming into a title shot. However, even if an opponent has struggled off and on, there are few things that solve a rough patch more than an upset title win. So, that's not set in stone and what we want is the best matches possible for the title.
While we would love a clean sweep, we wouldn't anticipate being successful against all of those talented championship-caliber fighters. Now, there is the stellar example of Adriana Lima but I do believe if I recall correctly that a previous stable (Tech Unlimited) actually held all FOUR of the lineal titles at one point. It's obviously a very rare occurrence and we don't anticipate it happening again anytime soon. If we are successful, then you better believe we'd shoot for the bantamweight title.
Of course, we're more excited than ever to see more title opportunities for managers to attempt than ever and spreading out the gold. But, if one stable holds more gold, then it just puts a bigger target on their back and more exciting stories/rivalries ahead which makes the FCBA go 'round!!
