Our reporter and his blonde companion sit watching baseball at Bazz with Cassandra Lynn Scerbo, Poindexter Del Crunchy, and the Man In The Hat.
Reporter: "So, guys, lets talk pay-per-view..."
Cassie: "First, let's talk Queens..."
Reporter: "OK..."
Cassie: "I agree with Elizabeth Lail that she's not too young to be a general manager. After all, she took that position at 31 years and six months old. I took over as Executive Vice President HERE at 31 years and ONE month old..."
Pointy: "And, had been half running the place long before that..."
Man In The Hat (laughing): "Maybe MORE than half..."
Tess (smiling): "Pay-per-view. What are everyone's takeaways?"
Cassie: "Obviously, Ariana's win was huge. As our Commissioner has said on multiple occasions, upsets like that are a big part of what makes the FCBA great..."
Man In The Hat: "As I always say, this is the FCBA. There's no such thing as a sure win around here. And, with Grande, it ain't like she ain't done it before. Early in her career, she beat people. When that happens, you know it's IN there..."
Pointy: "Duff's another example of that..."
Man In The Hat: "Sure is. Girl beat people, won a title, and is nowhere near past prime. Hadn't had much success LATELY, but that doesn't mean she can't beat you...as she proved."
Cassie: "Fuller and Roberts looked good, and Portman, as always. I expect Free to make a big jump when Smackey's ratings come out early next month. And Ziegler should maybe get the next title shot..."
Man In The Hat: "Winnick looked dangerous as usual. Takin' out Minka, that's no easy task. Speakin' o' title shots, Lynch could be front of the line at bantam, and nobody would have any argument with that. Brie is Brie. Olsen looked like what she is, a top shelf bantam. Dunne's got the tools to be a champion. And, I couldn't be happier to see Peyton keep winnin'..."
Reporter: "Shay and Bella. There's been some controversy there about whether Bella is overrated..."
Man In The Hat: "OK. Here's the deal. I KNOW talent. That's my job here. Findin' talent. If I were startin' a stable from scratch and could sign any fighter in the FCBA, I'd sign Bella Thorne. She doesn't win because she's big for the weight. LOTS of girls are big for the weight and I have some of 'em here. She wins because she's as good as any fighter in the FCBA and BETTER than almost all of 'em. Bella is a number one draft pick. Not just A number one draft pick, she's THE number one draft pick. She's Manning, Burrow, Lawrence, and Luck. She's CAN'T miss. She's a star. And ANY stable that understands talent at ALL would love to have Bella Thorne at the top of their bantamweight division. ANY stable. Say what you might."
Pointy: "That being said, Shay Mitchell is ALSO a top-level bantam..."
Man In The Hat: "EXACTLY. Shay Mitchell can beat you any day of the week and twice on Sunday. She's a champion who's beaten a LIST of top fighters."
Tess: "Let's talk about the bigs..."
Pointy: "Have to like what you saw from Saraya and Kylie. Lima looked good as always. Skovbye has legitimate welter power. That was a huge win by Herrington over Rhoda and Dale keeps showin' everybody why Wizardo talks her up all the time. She gave Upton all Kate wanted..."
Man In The Hat: "Lawley was physically dominant as usual. Winstead is still as elite as can be at lightweight. And, Katic continues to impress. Makes you wonder what kind of career she'd have had if she'd have been this active fifteen or even ten years ago."
Tess: "Another of your favorites, Camilla Mendes, is back on a roll..."
Man In The Hat (nodding): "Beatin' Brec ain't easy. Ever. Camilla's got the goods. She's shown that over and over again."
Pointy: "Speaking of beach titles, Ferguson/Willerton was a heck of a fight. I'd pay to see a best of 25 between those two."
Cassie: "And, as hard as it is for us to see Avril lose the flyweight belts, what a run she had with them."
Man In The Hat: "Indeed. And, there's absolutely NO shame in losin' to 'Nessa. Lot of that goin' around."
Cassie: "Chopra's not going to be easy to knock off the bantam throne..."
Man In The Hat: "And, nothin' against DiDo, who, everyone knows, we love around here, but I've got to admit, I'm pleased to see Dua win the titles. She's been very good for a long time and it's always nice to see a girl like that get over the top."
Pointy: "Lively keeps impressing with that welter gold. Clauson's no pushover, but Blake's established herself firmly in the welter elite."
Tess: "Let's talk Front Street. Two big wins for you. Olivia's back on track..."
Cassie (nodding): "And, we've never had any doubts about her. She's getting better every time out. It's just a matter of time."
Reporter: "And, Taylor came up with a big win off a couple of losses to Top Ten lights..."
Man In The Hat: "Taylor's a champion who's just getting into her prime. I have no doubt she can get the lightweight gold back. We also think she has a chance to grab gold at welter and on the beach. So, we're very excited about Ms. Hill."
Reporter: "Taylor's opponent, Antje Utgaard, is now a free agent after The Fighting Academy closed. I know you've said it was a mistake to release her..."
Pointy: "But. We don't have an open roster spot. So, that's your answer."
Man In The Hat: "Now, let's watch some ball, shall we?"
