First of all, we're very glad that everybody has had some strong opinions about our recent roster reorganization and definitely excited to see the FCBA so engaged. Some managers have voiced their thoughts publicly, but I've heard from others over Discord, e-mail and messages privately who are all excited to share their thoughts. Most of them have been supportive and respectful, but all of them have certainly been excited to 'weigh in', as that is the topic under discussion.
There have been questions about Kylie Jenner, whether she can succeed in making the necessary weight at bantam and whether Hailee would be better suited at bantam. Hailee has been listed by most sources as 5'8' but she has personally listed herself at approximately 5'6', but it looks like on the Wiki she is 5'7'. That's fine if we split the difference. We also thought that Kylie might get to explore some additional rivalry options at bantamweight, but perhaps we've just overthought the whole thing.
So, while we won't be bound by the results of a poll, we would certainly welcome your feedback and input. If you're putting down a deposit for a skywriter or something, save your money and know that you're being heard. So, would it be better to leave things as is where we've placed Kylie at Bantamweight / Hailee at Lightweight or like Uno, would it better to place a quick Reverse Card to switch those two up so that Hailee is at bantamweight and Kylie returns to lightweight? This poll will run for three (3) days and we'll have this decided by this Friday when we start to arrange the next PPV. If there is an obvious consensus before then, we might even closer it down earlier.
Hope everybody is having a good week and talk to you all soon! Thanks for everything you do to make our stable and the FCBA better!

Before I cast my vote, I'm curious to know what goes into the decision to slot a fighter into a certain weight class. If it were only due to height, I think it would be a clear cut answer. But a girl's weight also comes into play, no? Was that the reasoning for the original decision to put Hailee as a Light, and Kylie as a Bantam?
Personally, I would struggle to see Kylie as a Bantamweight at the moment, but mostly because Kendall is listed as ~130 lbs, and that puts her at Lightweight. Kylie, meanwhile, is WAY over that weight limit.
Then again, Hailee is estimated to be ~125 lbs. So she could go either way, imo.

We'd say Hailee Steinfeld should be a bantamweight. Given both wear heels, she appears to be smaller than Zendaya and she's a complete no contest vs Taylor Swift. It appears the 5'6" height number is probably correct.

Steinfeld is ALMOST 5’7”. Not quite, if you want to break it down that far. But close enough. Could she make bantam? That’s another question, because most of the time, her weight hovers right around 130…and it’s sometimes a little above. And. It’s not like the girl is carrying a lot of excess poundage. (Either way, I’m excited she’s in your stable. She deserves a push.)

Hailee for bantam! Also, weight is a weird and wild thing. Andrea Botez weighed in at 136 lbs in her first boxing fight and she is a young, slim 5'3. That would put her in WELTERWEIGHT in the FCBA, but she's currently in Flyweight. How could Steinfeld possibly weigh less than Botez when she is almost 5'7 is beyond me I think figurig out weights is a lost cause (not to mention weight cutting and fluctuation), so we should only go by heights.

Weights are VERY hard to figure because of how different builds can be and how deceiving. Just looking? Unless you really know what you’re doing, it’s impossible.

First off, it’s crazy to me that enough people were at your throat that a poll was needed lol… I bet if I were to audit every Stable, I could very easily find at least one fighter who has been mis-categorized advantageously.
But since we’re here, I fully agree with Dollhouse that height should be the only factor 99% of the time (aside from extreme cases like Ashley Graham for example). Now starting over isn’t really an option, because things are completely fine and there’s no conceivable way to recategorize 1,000+ fighters. Instead, I think it would go a long way if the people complaining would just chill out lol. I’m all for being a stickler if this were real. If we were weighing every girl before and after fights, if we had access to their real life scales, if they were actually professional fighters with public measurables. That ain’t the case. We’re talking about FEMALE ACTRESSES here. 10 pounds can be lost in a week, these girls fluctuate based on hormones, time of year, roles, boyfriends, pregnancies. The very, very best estimates we have for weight come from gossip websites and IMDB. Weight will never be more precise than +/- 10 pounds, and that makes a massive difference here.
To reiterate, we’re talking about female actresses and models. Let’s use some common sense. We’re not talking about the difference between Anderson Silva and Brock Lesnar. Why does Kylie Jenner weigh more? Let’s use our brains. Ass and tits. That’s literally the difference between weight classes. Why is Charlotte McKinney a Welterweight at 5’7 when she’s as skinny as Keira Knightley, a Flyweight? Because her F-cups help her punch harder? I don’t see why Kylie Jenner has to take every fight in her career with a 3” height disadvantage just because she has a big ass that isn’t helping her box.
I get that weight plays a factor in the fight simulator most likely, but why should that make a difference either? The simulator is just looking at a data set, we don’t have to convince it that Kylie is actually 125 (or whatever weight). If Lookout tells it she’s 125, she’s 125. As long as the classification is reasonable and no advantage is obtained, who cares? Why can’t she lose 10 pounds in this ‘universe’ and fit right in? And as far as I see it, 5’6 should be comfortably fine in Bantam if they want. Provided we’re not talking about an obese person or a body-builder, she has no conceivable advantage. I see no reason a FIRM stance has to be made over a weight figure we made up based on TMZ guessing. Height is a totally different story, but weight is so subjective and meaningless.
Denying the person who runs the entire operation of an extremely reasonable request over semantics that can’t even be proven seems silly to me.

If Lookout wants Kylie at bantam, that's their call. OTOH, at bantam Kylie is just one of the crowd. At light/welter, she's the curvy fireplug who can hit with the best of them. Kaley Cuoco made it into the HOF at 5' 6" Brianna Dale is in the same boat, and it gives the two of them somebody to scrap with. Hawkeye and I were just playing along and did not in any way intend for this to become anything like this kerfuffle

In the immortal words of Sgt. Hulka. Lighten up, Francis. I was indeed playing and actually setting up a potential Peyton List-Kylie Jenner fight at bantam. Lookout can put fighters where he wants. Frankly, I'd love Hailee to go to bantam mainly because I find her hot as hell and I'd love to put some of my crew against her, but it's completely Lookout's call.

For what it’s worth, I absolutely didn’t view Oddman & Hawk as dissenting. I thought they were simply playing along to the “teasing Kylie” remark. I was referring more to those who might be privately badgering Lookout and making him feel the need to defend the moves. Especially with the implication that some haven’t been respectful.

Should be a third poll option: "Let the Commissioner decide."

Should be a third poll option: "Let the Commissioner decide." I appreciate that. Indeed I have made a decision and will go with the results of the poll as people have been very clear that there will be no shortage of and indeed a plethora of challenges for Hailee at bantamweight and Kylie at lightweight. Kylie will be our primary lightweight for the time being and will still look to consider other options to pair with her at lightweight. We'll look for some challenges coming up for both Hailee/Kylie soon then.
I've also made another decision as people have indicated that we'll be largely going away from weight and focusing mainly on height to determine weight divisions. We'll be updating the Wiki in the future with some new guidelines to help managers out, though we recognize there will still be some discussions on where to place some fighters such as Kylie or others. But, that'll be a discussion for another day and we'll save that for next week or so after we get the PPV organized as that'll be our next post here.
But, I do want to say thank you to everybody for their support and valuable assistance. While the discourse has been passionate at times, I appreciate how excited people are in terms of making sure that all fighters in the FCBA have the best opportunities possible and the hottest match-ups that we can make. Hopefully we can take that energy to making it a spectacular beach PPV next month and keep moving forward.
Thank you all!
