Another first round bout now in the World Cup tournament. Ming Xi and Kylie Jenner hope meet for the first ever time as we get another Fates Boxing versus Lookout! Boxing match up. This time they are in Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium for this fight.
Both fighters got to tell the world their thoughts heading into the tournament on the FCBA Network. Ming Xi wore a red dress with matching heels. She looked directly into the camera with a serious expression as she says "Kylie Jenner better not expect an easy night. I know that arrogant reality star has never worked for anything, unlike me." Straight away having a dig at her opponent out the gates.
She then turns her attention to the tournament, she says "thank you to my stable for preparing me for this event. This means a lot to me, to be picked for my country over the likes of Mia Kang and to be able to show the world that us Chinese celebrities can fight at that elite level."
Kylie meanwhile is wearing a pink hoodie with blue denim shorts and pink sandals, not looking too bothered by anything. Kylie says "so I get to fight Ming Xi. Should I be worried about her? I mean she has never done much and she is in that loser group. She'll be a nice wrap up to the rest of the tournament when I bring home the win." Grinning when mentioning the title. Kylie keeps it short though as clearly she thinks her chances are good shall we say.
Fight Night! The Chinese flag is shown on the big screen behind where Ming comes out the backstage area to the stage. She walks down the aisle with Ana Beatriz Barros following behind. Ming with a stern expression on her gorgeous face. Wearing a red sports bra, red trunks with gold stars down the sides with matching shoes, red gloves and her hair is tied into a ponytail. Getting into the ring with Ana patting her on the back and telling her she is bigger and better then Kylie.
Who soon comes out with Stars and Stripes on the big screen. Kylie taps her navy blue gloves together as she walks to the ring with coach Julie Benz to her left. Kylie giggles as she makes a joke that only Julie can hear. Soon climbing into the ring wearing a navy blue sports bra with white trim, American flag pattern trunks, white shoes and red gloves, her hair is braided. Kylie bounces on her toes in her corner with a relaxed demeanor.
Walking to the middle of the ring. Ming stares down at Kylie, with the American grinning back at her. After the final instructions are read out, they quickly swipe their gloves with their opponents set. More interested in getting back to their corners. The bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.
Round 1:
Off they go with Ming looking to establish her jab right away. Kylie though ducks under one to work the body of her foe with several clean shots. Ming nudges back Kylie before landing a jab/straight combo to the forehead of the younger fighter. Both wanting to force their will on the fight right from the off. Finding it hard as both have success through the opening minute.
Second minute sees Ming catch Kylie with a right cross near her temple. Kylie covers up more as she has a three punch combo coming her way. Only the last straight burrows it's way through into her face though. It does help push Jenner to the outside part of the ring. Where Ming holds the center as she switches targets nicely.
Kylie gets a few solid shots out her guard to land but Xi is being forceful here. Keeping Kylie on the outside with crisp punches, even drilling some into the chest of the socialite to make her grit her mouthpiece. The round ends with Kylie tapping her gloves together as she can't hide that she is annoyed how things went there.
Round 2:
Back out they come with Kylie looking to get inside more quickly, landing several hooks to the body of Ming before she is nudged back. Straight shots land back into the face of the American to force her around the center of the ring. Kylie looks to be growing in confidence as she sees Ming growl out when she lands a flush punch to the body.
An overhand left catches Ming on her jaw. Kylie using the opening to drive back Ming onto the ropes, where she works the torso of the Chinese model. Ming holds onto Kylie to slow her assault. Both grapple for a bit before being split up as they lock eyes in a nasty stare down.
Inside comes Kylie with more regularity as she tests the abs of her opponent. Ming landing a few solid punches around the head of Kylie. Though soon finding herself pressed into a neutral corner with not long left to go. Ming shells up as Kylie tries to chop her down to her size. The round ends with Ming walking back to her corner trying to look cool. Kylie smirks as that's more like it for her.
Round 3:
Both are trying to control the action, leading to things feeling a little scruffy as they exchange around the center of the ring. More punches landing onto elbows and gloves as they do flush. Kylie manages to catch Ming with a right hook to the body, followed by a looping left hook over the top into her cheek to twist her head around.
Kylie powers forwards to force her foe back against the ropes. Banging in more body shots till she is pulled into a front headlock. Tempers starting to fray as Kylie tries to ram her shoulder into the stomach of Ming to drive her through the ropes out of the ring. Referee warning both to keep the fight clean before they resume.
Ming looks annoyed as Kylie is getting in closer then she wants. Needing to push at Kylie to force some distance. Ming late in the round lands a flush jab/straight combo into her rivals face. Soon enough she lands a left hook to keep Kylie honest. The bell dings to end the round. Kylie has went up on most people's scorecards. She looks a little frustrated by Ming not letting her close the distance so easily.
Round 4:
Doubling up her jab more to try to keep the fight where she wants it. Ming showing good footwork as she tries to stay away from being pinned down. Kylie landing a few crisp punches but is getting hit with more cleaner punches from the Chinese fighter.
Holding the middle of the ring better now. Ming is outworking Kylie as she has seen she needs to step up her intensity. Kylie dips down to land a few punches around the belly button of the taller fighter. Still Ming is landing some crisp combos to knock back the head of Kylie.
Under forty five seconds to go. Kylie steps inside to land a few solid hooks to the body. Ming holds onto her right arm and digs at the head of Kylie with her right fist. Both are pushed apart with Ming earning a warning. Both resume letting their hands go till the round comes to an end. Ming showing her fighting spirit as she marches back to her corners.
Round 5:
Kylie taps her cheeks before they resume. Ming again starts off looking to move and strike to open up Kylie. This time though Kylie looks to mirror her moves and ends up catching Ming with a left hook that opens a cut on her bottom lip. Kylie then lands a straight onto the chin of her rival.
The Fates girl finds herself forced into her own corner. Ana is yelling at her to do something as she watches Ming cover up. Kylie looks to stretch her elbows with hooks as the crowd roar them on. Ming grabs hold of Kylie to stop her. Kylie trying to drive her forehead into the chin of Ming. They are split up with Xi moving out the corner.
Catching Kylie coming in with a double jab. Ming showing she won't be bullied so easily by her rival. Kylie is roughing her up though with a push with her left forehead, before slamming in a few punches around the jugs of Ming to make her grit her gumshield as to not give Kylie the satisfaction of hearing her whimper. The round comes to an end with Kylie looking fired up as she jogs back to her corner.
Round 6:
Pushing off their stools to resume. Kylie pushing at the chest of Ming to try to disrupt her rhythm. Landing several hard looping punches over the top. Ming needing to move around near the ropes and slam short hooks off her back foot.
Nudging back Xi into a neutral corner. Jenner starts to get in hooks around the guard of Ming to her cheeks. Ming holding onto her to slow her down. Kylie slams in a few short blows to the kidneys of Ming with her right fist. They are split up with Kylie getting a firm warning.
Less then a minute to go. Kylie gets caught with a left hook as she walks in. A straight sends her head back as she left herself too open. Tables being turned as Ming crowds Kylie to the ropes. Ming firing her punches through the mitts of Kylie to her nose. Blood starting to flow from the nose of Kylie. The bell dings to end proceedings with both staring daggers at each other. The referee nudging both back towards their corners as the old Fates versus Lookout rivalry is showing itself once again. Getting patched up on their stools as this is becoming a war of attrition.
Round 7:
Exchanging out the gates as Kylie looks to keep pressuring Ming. Problem is she isn't protecting herself as well as she did before. A straight lands on the nose of Kylie to make her cry out. She retreats back but Ming now steps forwards with a double jab followed by a right cross into the face of Kylie to twist her head around with some blood and sweat flying off.
Herding Kylie around the perimeter of the ring. Kylie is trying to fire back but Ming is landing the better punches. Outworking the smaller fighter. A left hook opens up Kylie to another straight on her nose as Kylie fights back tears. Grabbing desperately onto Ming to stop her. They are broken up by the referee not long later.
Under a minute to go Kylie is boxing more defensively as she is clearly hurting. Ming not rushing in as she knows that Kylie could be playing possum, instead she is drilling in jabs along with using feints. The bell rings with Kylie getting her nose patched up by Julie. Ming stares at her with a venomous look from her stool as both are dripping sweat.
Round 8:
Resuming with Kylie wanting to prove she is still in this contest. Problem is a left cross lands on her nose to make her eyes shut as she cries out. A right cross turns her head the other way as her knees buckle. Ming backing up Kylie towards a corner. A RIGHT HOOK LANDS AROUND THE TEMPLE OF KYLIE TO SEND HER STUMBLING TO HER BACK NEAR THE CORNER!
Ming heads to the neutral corner looking like she is holding her emotions in as she bounces on her toes. 1....2....3....4... Kylie turns her head to her right as blood drips to the canvas. 5....6....7... Kylie groans but isn't moving much more. 8....9...10 it's all over for Kylie tonight!

After:
Ming advances to the semi final of the World Cup. She smiles over at Ana before walking over to her to fist bump her. Ming tapping her gloves together before raising her gloves into the air as she looks out to the crowd and taking in the cheers from her supporters.
Kylie on the other hand is being checked over by the ringside doctor and by Julie. Kylie sits up after a few moments with tissue paper being put up her nostrils. She doesn't look too badly hurt after taking a few breaths. She looks angry that she has lost as she was one of the favourites to win this tournament.
As soon as she can Kylie is helped out the ring. She yells at Ming "you lucky bytch! I was beating you!" With Ming staring angrily back at her. Ana telling Ming to ignore her as she has other things to focus on. While Kylie is told that she can come back from this. Kylie shakes her head furious by what has happened tonight.
When Kylie is out of view in the backstage area. Ming walks to the middle of the ring to get her left hand raised. She smiles but is keen to leave the ring. Wanting to cool off and focus on preparing for her next fight. She walks to the backstage area with Ana beside her.
It will be interesting to see how negatively this bout has effected her chances as so far she has taken the longest to win her bout. She will be hoping that the next bout between Valentina Fradegrada and Doutzen Kroes goes long. She will take on the winner later tonight in the semi final.
