Outfits:
Though Katic had made undeniable strides since Yvonne Strahovski ran roughshod through her Stable in the Jaguar Tournament in late-2022, there was no question who the overwhelming favorite was in this fight. Even a win over the woman who’d defeated Strahovski in the finals, Jennifer Garner, didn’t come close to outweighing the blonde’s lengthy accolades. Racking up five separate Lightweight Titles and fourteen defenses; Strahovski was inevitable. Still a player at Lightweight into her 40’s, Yvonne was considered to be the unquestioned Queen of the Jaguars in most pundit circles. In her mind, Katic had done little more than handle some of her dirty work by taking the belt from Jennifer Garner. Now, it would be rightfully hers to safekeep.

Katic's lithe, statuesque frame glistened under the heat of the overhead spotlights as she slid out of her satin robe and revealed every taut, delicate curve of her bronzed skin. Each athletic twist and shimmy of her upper half caused her modest bosom to swell, her teardropping B-cups mushrooming out the top and bottom of the thin-banded tube top belted around her sternum. Katic craned her long stems and dipped into a lewd crouching split, limbering in her corner to some last minute instruction from her corner. Her pale-pink string thong was devoured by folds of flesh, finally rising and rearranging the twined, biting string bottoms by hiking them high up her hips. Ending her corner show, the brunette arched her rib cage and pressed to her tippy toes against the ropes, throwing her tightly-braided pony tail over her shoulder before pumping her gloved fists together.

Strahovski answered with a partially sheer, black spandex bikini that looked as though it was body-painted on; the waist of her thong bottoms arching high up her abdomen, splitting her rippling, bronzed stems. Her long, golden locks were tied up in a high pony tail, dangling between her shoulder-blades as she torqued and loosened her back. Ever-confident, and with good reason, Strahovski blew a sarcastic kiss across the ring to Katic; miming as though she was strapping a belt around her waist before slipping into her gloves.

Round 1/2:
Katic was typically as gracious and reverent as they come, but even she wasn’t immune to holding a grudge over the domineering hand displayed by Strahovski in their previous bout. The pace set in the first was a torrid one as The Champ cut the sunbathing Aussie’s introductory parade short by leaping into her offense; torching Yvonne’s toned, golden midsection with a confounding bag of hooks and overhands that walked her down with the same brevity of their opening glove tap. Katic sliced an unorthodox left across the blonde’s pert chest, then a drubbing uppercut into the bottom of her jaw; forcing Yvonne to swallow her pride and wallow into a puzzled clinch. Katic’s lithe frame still had every bit of the elasticity she had become known for, but Yvonne quickly found out that The Champ had blossomed with a whole new depth of ‘bite’ to her punches. Pulling out her hard hat and getting to work after a lazy effort in the first, Yvonne responded with a bully session in the second. Five years older and lacking the chiseled muscle mass of the Aussie, Katic was helpless as the cuffs came out; arrested and ridden into the ropes as Yvonne overwhelmed her gangly frame with a groping, tangled clinch. Finally breaking away, Yvonne stuffed a gutting front hook into Katic’s navel; sliding back for a pincer combination that wobbled the brunette side-to-side as fists cut into curves of her hips. Katic grunt as she swung loosely over Yvonne’s shoulder, then was fed piston uppercuts to the noggin until she caved into a defensive shell; walling up for the last thirty seconds as the blonde domed her forearms with heavy, rocking overhands in an attempt to slip one through. After Katic comes out strong with a 10-8 first, Strahovski ties it right back up with a 10-8 second.

Round 3/4:
After the nukes had been prepped and flashed in the opening two rounds, it felt like the shields came up and the breaks were finally slapped on what was a surprisingly lubricious affair. As both fighters were reminded of the mountainous stakes, caution abounded and reigned supreme. A calculated, but generally timid fighter compared to many, Katic picked her pockets as Yvonne led the two circling bulls around the ring. An over-extension from Strahovski here, and Stana scythed a rippling cross into her temple; a reckless miss there, and the Canadian tested the pliability and springiness of the blonde’s flexing tummy. Yvonne vented her frustrations with a handful of thermal straight rights up and down the slender midsection of Katic; making sure the brunette wasn’t able to run off and hide with points for very long before being leapfrogged by her pent-up might. Every time Katic stacked a sprinkling of rabbit punches and began inching away with the round, Yvonne would vault back in front with a wicked, trembling body shot. A few exchanges narrowly decided the third and fourth, as the two once again alternated rounds. Strahovski 10-9 to inch ahead, then Katic 10-9 right back.

Round 5:
The fifth round was something of a sore spot for Strahovski despite the victory in 2022, as Katic had completely humiliated her with a shutout in their last bout. With an injection of animosity seemingly out of left field, Yvonne aimed to make Katic feel every ounce of that indignity. As Katic shuffled forward with a palm extended to measure, Yvonne baited the brunette into the palm of her hand; waiting for Stana to load her weight on her back heel before slashing a cutting left across her tummy. Katic bared her teeth as Yvonne swiped another fleshy hook into her breasts, pancaking her B-cups and drubbing the brunette into a half-hearted retreat while she swaddled her pulsing sternum. Yvonne was doggedly pursuant, flinging windmill lefts and rights that sped up the Canadian’s backpedal until she slammed into the ropes; rebounding into a close-quarters hurricane.

Katic throatily winced as the subtle curve of her rib cage was cranked by a screwdriver left, her right thigh fleshily quaking as her knee buckled inward. Yvonne artfully retreated with the surf, slipping out of range of the brunette’s retaliatory slash, only to stride back in and crash ashore with another piercing hook to the lower torso. Katic staggered as her hip was perforated with a sharp right hand, then gagged as a second rapped higher into her liver just a split second later; her gawky frame mercilessly zippered by a trio of strikes. The Canadian’s midsection concaved around the blonde’s lingering fist, rolls forming on her taut belly as her abdomen scrunched and spasmed with whimpered breaths. Katic spilled forward into Yvonne’s lap for a distraught clinch, tossing her arms around the Aussie’s waist before being immediately discarded with a shove to the spine. Katic tramped sideways, her lanky stems clumsily spreading to remain upright as she twisted to look up at the towering blonde. Katic’s bulbs widened as she blankly stared right up at an eclipsing left, pinching her eyes shut just as Yvonne spiked a titanic shouldered overhand into her cheek. The intoxicated brunette squelched as a mouthful of slobber was slung to the canvas, crumpling flat on her belly as Strahovski drove her skewer through Katic’s jaw.

1… 2… 3… 4… 5… Katic’s buckled frame unraveled on her tummy, sliding spread eagle as she drunkenly untangled each limb from beneath her abdomen. Having learned from Strahovski’s debasement in their last post-fight, Katic was saved as she spilled out the bottom of her belted bra by a pair of black ‘X’ pasties; though the wardrobe malfunction was the least of her worries at the moment. The brunette’s sternum twitched with sharp, raspy breaths; grunting as she rolled over to her back with an exhausted shove. Her mouth hanging agape, the paralyzed Champion gulped down a buoying breath of oxygen, floundering to her hip as Yvonne vaulted atop the near ropes in celebration of her perceived victory.

6… 7… 8… Katic rolled to hands and knees before sagging to a crouch, furiously heaving for air as Strahovski’s corner shrieked at their boasting fighter to pay attention to Katic’s late attempt to beat the count.

9… With a shake of her noggin, Katic miraculously pushed vertical just at nine; woozily confirming to the official that she was good to go as Yvonne glared with annoyance from her perch atop the bottom rope. The round ended just seconds later, with Strahovski forced to dismount her pedestal and return to her corner unable to finish The Champ quite yet.

Round 6/7:
After Yvonne padded her point and momentum lead with a narrow 10-9 victory in the sixth, Katic was all but forced to kick it into high-gear to start the seventh. She had a growing comfortability fighting past the seventh round despite her age, but there was absolutely nothing comfortable about fighting a remarkably fit meat-grinder like Strahovski. Especially when that fight was uphill. With a three point deficit and four rounds to go, the time was now to make a move. Strahovski’s demeanor could be described as ‘cautiously arrogant’, as she dipped and toyed with a sluggish Katic in hopes of unwinding her air-tight defenses for that final catatonic wallop. A hacking left to the shoulder opened Katic up for a can-opener hook that split the crook of her off-arm and crunched against her sternum; winding the brunette as Yvonne hoisted another bony overhand. Aimed recklessly high at Stana’s forehead, Yvonne was suddenly paralyzed as the brunette wedged a slick right hand in between her ribs; following with three more raps to the gut that doubled her over.

Yvonne slunk away as Stana tore through the tender flesh of her bowed belly, hugging her navel as she deflated to half her height. The blonde skid to her heels as Stana was instantly tilted downhill, trying to duck through a spiky overhand right but dipping square into the brunt of the impact as the brunette cranked downward. The Aussie’s skull rattled with a guttural grunt as she was catapulted to the canvas; skidding to an unceremonious stop sprawled out on her ass.

1… 2… Out of seemingly nowhere the crowd exploded as Katic put Yvonne right back down; Strahovski woozily propping up on her behind as she held her chin in one hand.

3… 4… 5… Strahovski slammed her fist on the canvas as she crawled back up, furious at having been caught in what she felt was a careless misstep.

There wasn’t an ounce of celebration from Katic as the brunette hopped into a springy bounce on her tippy toes; seemingly ready for seven more rounds of hell, or at least posturing as though she was, as Yvonne made it up and was cleared by the official to continue. The blonde was visibly irate, almost equally at herself and Katic; though her disposition felt somewhat disheveled for the first time all night. Her posture was much more hunched and bulky as she drunkenly swung through heavy clubs toward Katic’s shoulders; each time whooshing past and eating a venomous hook to the tummy or torso for her bravado. Katic’s composure led her to the end of a volatile round with a knockdown and wide victory, taking the seventh 10-8 and scratching her way back to within a point.

Round 8:
Strahovski broke from her corner with an insatiable blood-lust, tracking Katic down right off the stool and circling her into the nearest post with a volley of directing jabs. Katic expertly shunted away a wide left hook to the liver as her spine clanged against the corner steel, then deflected a lazy straight right; dipping her stems and scooping a brutal uppercut below the curve of the blonde’s solar-plexus. Yvonne blubbered as her torso curled, gagging as Stana zigged through a cross to the chin, then zagged through a meaty temple hammer. Yvonne’s arms flailed as she waddled in a semi-circle and crashed into the opposite corner, now finding herself with her ass split by the post instead of Katic. Strahovski twisted and groped at Katic as the brunette stapled her to the rails, sneaking a handful of probing jabs through her forearms before rattling another flash-bang right hand into her skull. The staggered Aussie slumped to the side, almost turning her back on the flurrying brunette as Stana opened up on her curled torso; stamping left hooks and crosses up and down her rib cage. Finally Yvonne bucked Katic off her, only to wing a left woefully short and leave her gut exposed for another crippling shovel to the midsection. Katic dotted varied, judicious jabs and overhands through the blonde’s bedraggled guard, racking up incalculable damage and punching numbers before finally sweltering out near the end of the round. Yvonne survives, but at a cost she could ill afford as Stana takes the lead with a STUNNING 10-0 shutout.

Round 9:
Katic looks just as unbuttoned as Strahovski as the two statuesque beauties shuffle out for the ninth; Yvonne still tousled from Katic’s flurry in the eighth, and Katic equally bushed from doling out the beating. At the behest of her corner, it’s Katic who tries to grab the slippery leash first; springing Yvonne’s Venus flytrap by striding too deep into her yard and whiffing on a less-than-snappy jab-jab combination. Strahovski balks at the offering, slinking beneath and pistoning a straight left into Katic’s tits. The defibrilated brunette hoarsely grunts as her chest is flattened, mushrooming beneath the Aussie’s heart-stopping fist as she’s driven backwards a handful of steps. Yvonne tries to will her legs to pursue, but the effort is too great and she gives up halfway through; instead opting to let Katic wear herself down by running. Katic continues to try and push Yvonne off her spot, but the stubborn blonde won’t budge; each time countering Stana’s wit and ingenuity with staggering power. Almost as if Yvonne is calculating and saving every ounce of energy left in her legs for the final round push, the blonde still dominates the ninth, 10-8. At this point, only a shutout or a knockout for Yvonne will steal the Jaguar Title.

Round 10:
Yvonne might as well be bolted to the canvas as she beckons Stana forward into her corner. Whether out of pure exhaustion or hubris, Katic obliges, drifting into the blonde’s waiting arms before both suddenly untether. It’s Yvonne who erupts first, blazing forward with a stream of firecracker overhands that patter off Katic’s shoulders and abdomen, the last two creeping up to snap against her lips before the brunette plants a heel and sweeps a sturdy left through the blonde’s ribs. Yvonne pinches sideways, then stings right back with a lacerating barb to the plump hip of Katic. Stana buckles and wilts into the ropes, sprawling over the top, fumbling across the outskirts before careening into the post. The brunette gutturally grunts as her armpit hooks the top rubber, her shoulder-blades split by the steel at her back as Strahovski drifts into a ferocious straight left.

“HNNGGGLLLhhgggg” Katic barks, her skull snapping straight back as Yvonne’s jab clacks against her pearly white teeth.

Stana’s mascara-smeared lashes flutter as her skull lulls back into place, her jellied stems trembling as the follow-through sends Yvonne pancaking into her chest. Strahovski grunts as she pushes off and separates, teeing up Stana’s chin for another softball left before the brunette slides through and slices a hook into the bottom of her rib cage. Yvonne squeals as Katic shreds her abdomen with a second, then a third; capping off her disemboweling with a gnashing uppercut to the liver. Yvonne gurgles as she lawn-chairs at the waist, her limp arms nearly touching her toes before Katic spikes a loaded left through her temple.

Strahovski kisses the post as she’s brutally driven to her knees before being tangled up in the ropes, awkwardly unfolding and spilling messily to her backside across Stana’s feet.

1… 2… 3… Yvonne’s glassy bulbs rapidly flutter into the back of her head as her torso quakes with convulsions, throatily grunting as the official drones on above her.

4… 5… 6… 7… The Aussie’s skull listlessly rudders back and forth as the mat shakes beneath her, still unable to budge so much as an inch as the moment reaches a crescendo.

8… 9… 10!! SHE’S OUT!

Post Fight:
The post-10-count scene reads as though there’s been a double-knockout; the crowd rising in stunned unison as Katic collapses to hands and knees across Yvonne’s prone body. Katic’s fetal frame shakes with pent-up emotion as she hides her flushed features, so exhausted she can’t even stand until McElhone vaults into the ring and wraps her superstar up in a bearhug on the ground. In one of the most grueling bouts imaginable, Katic has not only retained her Jaguar Title for the fourth time, but burst through the glass ceiling at Lightweight with an unthinkable top-10 victory. Though Yvonne has yet to fully come to, Katic takes a second to crouch to her ear; relaying a gracious, admiring message to the felled Aussie for the astonishing show she put on this evening.

Respect aside, payback in this budding rivalry is eminent and inescapable. Katic slowly rises to kneel at Yvonne’s hip, removing a glove and twisting a palm up in the blonde’s platinum pony tail. Pushing to her feet, Katic goes to lift the limp Aussie for a dog-walk across the ring, only to instantly fumble the lawn-chaired blonde right back to her ass. Far too exhausted to fully enjoy the parade, Katic leaves the slumped Strahovski on her backside; instead straddling her upper half and shimmying Yvonne out of her clingy bra. Yvonne’s sternum quakes and jiggles as she’s crudely peeled topless, arms strewn above her head as Katic finally finishes the strip-show and slings her back to the canvas. Planting a heel atop the Aussie’s heaving, teardropping breasts, Katic strikes a victory pose as she’s crowned once again with the belt; adding Yvonne’s bra as a secondary accessory to adorn her win.


[Post Fight Presser – Katic on the turning point of the fight]

“I think it stems back to our last fight, no question. Last year in the Jaguar Tournament, I put her down first early. I stacked a shutout on top of that. It was all on the table for me, and I think her flipping all that on my head was a real eye opener. You can’t be taught how that feels, you have to experience it. You have to experience the rip-current of energy that’s pulling against you when you lose momentum like that. When she put me down tonight, I was obviously in some trouble and didn’t take in the whole scene, but my corner told me she celebrated like I was done. I don’t blame her, because I don’t know if 2022-me gets up from that. It’s only human nature to get a little bit dejected after someone doesn’t stay down. I think that just shows the strides I’ve made, I took that wind straight from her sails and rode with it. I didn’t hang my head when she got up in the seventh, I got stronger. Maybe she thought I was just happy to be here. Happy to have had my vacation with the Belt and ready to give it up. She’s the best fighter I’ve faced in my career, but I’m not here just to participate and live out some twilight career fantasy. I think she found out that I want it just as bad as she does, and I hope the rest of the Lightweights keep underestimating me.”

[Katic on what’s next at Jaguar]

“Well, when you’re defending against a Hall-of-Famer who just beat you, you’re not exactly planning the parade before the win. I need to sit down with my team and see who is out there. I don’t have to look too far past my own teammate in Stacy Keibler to find someone more than deserving. I’m not sure how our group feels about inter-Stable political relations like that (laughs), but she’s as hot as anyone going. I’ve seen a handful of other girls get impressive wins in the last month like Christina Hendricks. We’ll see. I’m hoping I have a reach beyond the Jaguar Division, too. I’ve spoken on it before, but maybe my resume didn’t have the juice at that time. You put down a top-10 Lightweight twice in one night and stand with a foot on her chest? Hopefully I start to be taken seriously by the younger girls in the Lightweight Division. Or at least their management.”[/quote]
