Our reporter and his blonde companion sit watching baseball at Bazz with Cassandra Lynn Scerbo, Poindexter Del Crunchy, and the Man In The Hat.
Reporter: "So, gang, lots of action this weekend..."
Cassie: "Brown looked VERY impressive beating Fox. That's going to be a tough assignment for Olivia at the end of the month. And Keen. She's looking like she's got the goods."
Pointy: "Hendricks is still plenty dangerous. And, Rousey...with welter being welter, she could put together a run and get in the picture."
Man In The Hat: "Vonnie, though. SHE was the girl who impressed me the most on that card. Still as good as it gets at lightweight."
Tess: "Speaking of lightweights and tough assignments at the end of the month, DiDonato outlasted Swift..."
Man In The Hat: "As I said, DiDo is, at this moment, the best light in the world, because she has the BELTS to prove it."
Cassie: "That was a big win for McNamara. Olsen's a tough out and a bigger girl..."
Pointy: "That Gillan girl might be a champion in waiting. Upton, obviously, is Upton and Lively keeps showing this welter resurgence of hers is no fluke."
Reporter: "Changing the subject, another country has been heard from regarding Mudd's roster spot being endangered..."
Tess: "Are you still ON that?"
Reporter: "Mr. V said..."
Tess: "Even Mr. V said it could be a smokescreen..."
Reporter: "He also said that fight MIGHT be the upset of the year...and we ALL know what's happened in the wake of upsets like that in the past around here. McCurdy was upset by Moretz. Scherzinger was upset by Peet. Jaime Lynn was upset by Beckham. Seyfried was upset by Underwood. Graham was upset by Parrish. None of those girls lasted all that long at Front Street afterward..."
Cassie: "One fight..."
Reporter: "As Mr. V himself pointed out, Utgaard was released after losing just TWO FIGHTS. One was to Kostek and the other was to RIGHETTI..."
Man In The Hat: "Every situation is different, son. I'm not going to go back through all of those you mentioned, because I have respect for all those fighters AS fighters and I like 'em all as people. I WILL however, address just one, Seyfried. After her loss to Underwood, her career record was 15-15-1 and her record at Front Street was 11-11-1. Our former commissioner always said that it takes about 20 fights to know what you have. Well, Amanda had 31 career fights, 23 of 'em with Front Street. We knew what we had. She was a talented fighter and a great kid, but NOT a champion..."
Reporter: "Is MUDD a champion?"
Man In The Hat: "We believe she's a championship-level fighter. We think she can win titles not just at JMD or on the beach, but at bantam as well..."
Reporter: "So, if she loses on pay-per-view, she still has a job?"
Man In The Hat: "We believe Sophie can WIN that fight. Now. Let's watch some ball, shall we?"
