Hah! Ana Ivanovic retired from playing tennis at the end of last season. It's gonna be interesting to see her on this card. Her husband plays for Chicago Fire these days so she'll have a short trip to NY

Most definitely. Always felt that her famed looks overshadowed that of her tennis skills 😄

Ivanovic was a confidence player. She was on top of her game in 2007/08 when she made three GS finals in a span of twelve months. But it all went downhill after winning the French Open 2008. It's a very thin line between confidence and mental collapse and quite frankly she never handled the pressure of being WTA #1. But her forehand down the line was probably the best in this century when it was on. Everyone hits cross court these days in WTA but her 6'1" frame helped her a lot to work it DL. But hey, it's the Serbian supremacy clash here and well, I'm really curious to find out how it goes!
