With the dissolution of IBB, JMD Champion Mia Khalifa finds herself without a stable, and no stable has opted to pick her up yet. A stable opting to pick up a free title makes this whole discussion moot, but until then, the question remains: Who will the next challenger be?
Paige Spirinac just won her fourth JMD bout in a row. However, it must be noted that in January, she failed to take the title from the Champion Mia defeated to take the title. And of the bikini tops she has claimed, only Jessica Nigri has been a JMD champion, and these days she hangs her hat up at light&welter when she has the choice. She can certainly toss her bra in the ring, but she can't claim it by right. She can and perhaps should be forced into a #1 contenders match. And who could she be facing? Sydney Sweeney has won her last three JMD bouts, she's beaten better opposition, and the bikini tops in her trophy case include Emily Ratajkowski, three-time champ Bella Thorne, and Four-time champ Demi Rose. Sure, all three of them have at least one of hers, but that's more than Paige can say. Natalie Alyn Lind has also won her last three JMD bouts, and tangled with the best fighters in the division. But all of these fights were with her previous stable, and she hasn't fought JMD at all since 2021. Still, with three titles worth of Mish Williams in the stable, a claim from her cannot be ignored. Camila Mendes has won her last two JMD bouts, including one against former champ Jessica Lowndes, but also hasn't fought JMD in over a year. She has a special claim against Mia however. She is the only O&E fighter the IBB girls never beat. This would be a chance to send IBB into the ages with one final measure of triumph. Mia may choose her for that reason alone. Any of these fighters will need to move fast, as both Demi Rose and Bella Thorne will be eligible to challenge for the JMD title again at the end of the month, and Kira has seen to it that neither of them will be fighting for the belts before the fall.

Thank you for your attention towards me and my division. I, and all the Carnation fighters, agree that fan support makes all our days brighter. While I appreciate the concern for a #1 contenders match for the JMD title, and in normal circumstances I'd agree, I'll have to pass on the offer. Mia and I have a rendezvous with destiny, and I will not let Sweeney Toddie, Nat, or Cami #9 get in my way. However, after I win and hang Mia's bra in my trophy cabinet, then I'll let the other girlies challenge me if they dare. Does that sound fair?

And, apart from Paige's bid, Vivian Hsieh is up next to challenge Khalifa if Paige fails in her bid.
While I do find the prospect of Spiranac vs Sweeney nice, I don't think it should be as a contenders match.

If people already have results, that's one thing, and best of luck to everyone involved. But in the absence of an announcement, there's no fighter who jumps out far enough in front of the pack to insist on a title fight. Even Demi Rose and Bella Thorne haven't fought JMD since losing their last title fight. If there are multiple challengers, a #1 contender bout or even a small tournament may be necessary. we'll see what happens

While I do find the prospect of Spiranac vs Sweeney nice, I don't think it should be as a contenders match. Vivian has just lost to Paige, so I believe it would not be fair to give her a chance to fight Khalifa without Vivian getting back a win or a few. The champion should wait until the new JMD rankings are released in early July and choose an opponent from the top ten list for that month. I hope that’s okay with everyone. I also think that Khalifa should defend her title in June, since she didn’t do it in May. Maybe there could be a #1 contenders match for a July challenge on the same card. That would be exciting.

OOC: I asked Lookout about Vivian facing Khalifa for the title, and he said it was ok, so I'll want to go ahead with it. Might be something could be worked out

I'm very excited to see so much interest in the JMD title, but let me just clarify things because there are so many worthy contenders.
Up next, Mia Khalifa will be defending the JMD title against Paige Spirinac. Paige Spirinac and Vivian Hsieh completed on the May PPV in a JMD contest, which can be considered a Contender's bout. Depending on the results Mia/Paige for the JMD title, then Vivian or another one of these contenders who has a worthy claim to the JMD tiara can challenge the winner of that bout. That should take place on the June PPV and we'll get the JMD title back on track.
Thank you all and look forward to working with you all to keep thing moving forward. Stay safe!
-Lookout!
