BEFORE: The notorious Geordie singer is always up for a good challenge and Natalia Dyer's unofficial "Queen of Netflix" status is obviously worth the PPV effort! Most of the media appears to be more interested in Natalia's career status, Chezza is a well known entity at this stage while Dyer offers the mysterious upside that somehow doesn't translate to FCBA success too often! Can she mount a title contender run anytime soon? Stranger Things (sic!) have happened...
Cheryl Cole wears a leopard print bikini set & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Natalia Dyer wears a green crop top, jeans shorts & white gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a high ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1:
Cheryl gives the younger brunette a hard slugging drive to open the action and Natalia is slow to embrace the heat as she tries to match the singer's intensity but simply can't do it during the initial exchange. She lands some single shots through the Geordie barrage and eats more vicious punches herself which allows the older woman to really settle into the slugging rhythm. Cole taunts Dyer to show some pride but the Netflix queen is reluctant to blow her fuse even if she has to accept a losing round. Chezza ain't gonna stop pounding away in fury unless you make her stop and Natalia ends up hugging the ropes behind a tight earmuff instead. Woof!
Round 2:
Natalia shows signs of life and crashes into the singer's body to open the second but she can't quite shake off the aggressive pounce from the British veteran. Chezza remains glued to land her shots into the fellow brunette's face and does a good job of making her look pedestrian for a while until a sudden hook tags her on the ear and finally throws her off her comfort zone. Dyer jumps in to cash in with more aerial bombs and she knocks Cole's head around while gradually working her down towards the ropes. Cheryl eats a couple of flashy cross hooks out there and loses her high-octane edge to the point the US actress cranks up the juice and thumps several unanswered punches come the final stretch. Ugh! Chezza got badly frozen there for a reason and...
Round 3:
...she remains out of sync in the third while Natalia just rails her from both flanks to jump into an early dominant position. As relentless as Cheryl usually is, she's not getting any younger and Dyer blows her up with some body shots before lacing an uppercut series on the chin that sinks the British veteran on her heels. She tries to swing back from the hole but fails to tame Natalia's slugging switch and loses the subseqent trade-off in the center of the ring. Dyer whacks her with another combo on each temple and slowly clobbers her back to the post where she aims straight for the head to tear a small gash under the singer's left eye come the bell. Uh-oh! Cole looks like she's run into a wall and becomes very vocal while talking to coach Eva Mendes during the interval.
Round 4:
Cheryl comes out hot and slugs a hard series into Natalia's face which triggers another wild exchange much to the crowd's delight. Dyer feels like she's ready to stomp the singer to the ground any which way and... and... disaster strikes when she eats a drilling hook on the ear that spins her into a whimper... she slumps just low enough to open up for a BRUTAL UPPERCUT BLAST that shatters her jaw on the spot. Uh-oh!!! DOWN SHE GOES!!! The Netflix actress goes all deadmeat in a heartbeat and remains motionless with her eyes closed during the count. This is one for the highlight reel! KO4 Cheryl Cole!!!
AFTER: For a moment it looked like Natalia can deliver the comeback promise but then she got smoked by a chin-checker for the ages. Cheryl might leak more of these punches at this stage of her career but she can also nuke one when she needs it. The next PPV will be held on June 30th which is exactly the day she turns four-oh so expect a special opponent to celebrate her personal anniversary.
