TESS VALMORE
KOSARIN/OLSEN Both are former champions. Kosarin has won eight of her last ten, while Olsen has won seven of her last ten. The two have fought five times with Kosarin winning three. Kosarin is younger, but more importantly, she is three inches taller. That’s a lot to give up, but Olsen had beaten it twice. Unfortunately she won’t do it again. Kosarin will win
KOSTEK/LIVELY. For the Unified Welterweight Title. This will be Kostek’s second defense of the Welter title. She has won nine of her last ten. Lively has been in the FCBA since 2008, ten years longer than Kostek. She has over twice as many fights under her belt than her opponent. Kostek has won 72% of her bouts while Lively was won 52% of hers. Since the beginning of last year, Lively has won fifteen of nineteen. This coincides with her fighting more at welter. She is a former lightweight champ, but overall was considered a good but not top flight lightweight. She seems to have found a home at welter. This should be a good fight. I will go with Kostek.
RIGHETTI/DIDONATO. Amanda is a seven time welter champ. She’s in the Hall Of Fame and maybe the best welter ever, but the first four years of her career, she fought at lightweight and was only an average fighter going 10-10 in those four years. Then in 2009, she started fighting at welter and the rest is history. She has won seven of her last ten while suffering a huge upset loss to Blake Lively in the January PPV. DiDonato is the new lightweight champion. It’s her second title. Now I don’t care is she is the lightweight champ. I don’t care what her recent record is. I don’t care who Amanda is fighting. My rule, I don’t bet against Righetti
