TESS VALMORE
PARKER/JUSTICE. You have to wonder why our good friends from the North couldn’t find someone better to open this card. Parker is 58 years old. She made her debut in August 1999 and in the 23 years since, she has had a total of three additional fights and has a 3-1 record. Justice has a combined record of 28-37. She has lost seven of the last ten. Justice may not be the greatest fighter in the world, but she is two inches tall and twenty eight years younger. Justice in four
OUELLET/E.TURNER. Ouellet is forty years old. She made her debut in 2008 and has had three fights total losing two, the last being to Katic in February. Turner has a 6-7 record and has lost six of her last ten fighting tough competition. She is two inches taller and ten years younger. Turner will win
PEREGRYM/KEIBLER. Peregrym could have been one of the great bantam champions, if not the greatest, but after winning two titles in ten months, she moved to lightweight, where over the course of her career she won two titles and was inducted into the Hall Of Fame. She has won six of her last ten. Keibler haș a 35-29 record and held the welter title twice. Since the beginning of 2016 she has a 4-6 record. She is a little older than Peregrym but she is four inches taller. That is going to be tough for Peregrym. I would love to see Missy win, but Keibler height is going to be too much.
CHRIQUI/S.J.UNDERWOOD. Chriqui is a 45 years old brunette with a combined record of 4-11. She has lost seven of her last ten going back to 2014. Underwood has a career record of 4-16. One of those fights was in February when she lost to Ratajkowski. This looks like a 50-50 fight to me. I am going to show my patriotism by going with Underwood,
J.LUCAS/PELAS. Lucas is 37 years old with a combined record of 4-5. She has had four FCBA bouts and lost them all. Pelas has a record of 11-14 and has won six of her last ten. She’s an average flyweight, but is blonde (Don’s ask if it is dye job). The blonde will win.
STRATUS/NOVA. I used to watch Stratus when I was kid. She’s now 46 and has a 8-9 career record. She’s lost six of her last ten. To get those ten fights one has to go all the way back to 2006. Nova made her debut in January beating Naomi Knight. I have to play the patriotic card again. Nova will win
KATIC/FLAIR. Katic is one of the most active of new stable members. She has a 20-6 record and has won seven of her last ten fighting average fighters. That is not a criticism. It’s what any fighter her age has to do to stay credible. Flair is 36 years old and has a 19-17 record. She won five of her last ten, but the most part she has fought the best in the welters. I really don’t like wrestlers in the FCBA. This is another where I would like the fighter who I think is going to lose, win. Flair is six
This card features seven cougars. I think it goes a long way proving what the great philosopher of the FCBA, The Wiz, once said “Fighters don’t retire, they stop getting calls.” Of course, we need new blood. Of the approximately sixty six fighters added last year, few will get two fights in their career as current fighters are fighting well into there forties and even fifties
