DIAMOND BOXING TOURNAMENT 23 ROUND 2
MODUGNO/E.TURNER. Modugno has a combined record of 7-9 and has had only two FCBA bouts losing both to Clauson and Katic. Turner has a 4-7 record and has lost five of her last six. One of those losses was to Ratajkowski. a bantam. She has fought better competition than Modugno, but is almost two inches shorter and a little older. I will have to go with Modugno
A.WILLERTON/GROENEVALD. Willerton has a combined record of 14-10 but is 10-5 in the FCBA. She has won six of her last ten with a big win over Rhoda. Groenevald made her debut in January losing to Iskra Lawrence. She has a two inch height advantage, but that is all. Willerton will hand Groenevald her second loss
I.LAWRENCE/I.BALDWIN Both won their fights In round one. Lawrence has had ten fights and won eight. Her losses were to Righetti and Upton. Boxing World has her ranked at sixteen in the welters. Baldwin is one of the two biggest fighters in the FCBA standing 6’2”. Her height does seem to help her all that much as she has a 4-4 record. She did beat Strijd who is ranked at eleven by Boxing World. She has a huge five inch advantage. It hasn’t helped her all that much in the past. It won’t help her here Lawrence in eight.
M.T.STALLION/CLAUSON. Stallion made her debut in 2021 looking like she was going to be a big factor in the welterweights. She won all four of he fights that year with a big win of Rhoda (sound familiar) Since then she last lost six straight. Against decent competition including Rhoda. Clauson has a combined record of 32-12 and is 23-4 in the FCBA, She is 6-4 in her last ten FCBA fights. Clauson will extend Stallion’s losing streak to seven.
FNL BLOOD FEUD 23
A.GRAHAM/PEARCE. Graham broke into the FCBA in 2017, but has had only seven fights losing five. She hasn’t fought since November 2021. Pearce is a video journalist and cosplayer. That’s impressive (excuse the sarcasm). She has had four fights losing three. I have to go with Graham.
CARDI B/MINAJ. This is a bare knuckle bout. Cardi B has a 3-6 record, has lost her last five and hasn’t fought since October 2021.Minaj has been around since 2012 and has amassed a 11-10 record. She has also lost her last five with her last win being in January 2018. Minaj is now 40 years old, ten years older than Cardi B. I am going with youth. Cardi B will win.
CAMERON/V.HUDGENS Cameron has a career record of 22-18. but held the Unified Flyweight title from April to October last year with four successful defenses. She took the title from Hudgens. Hudgens is a five time Unified Flyweight champ and is a member of the Hall Of Fame. She has won seven of her last ten. Vanessa will be out for revenge. She will get it.
CHOPRA/TAYLOR-JOY. Chopra is having had a great 2022 winning nine of eleven with her losses being to Reinhart and Kosarin. Taylor-Joy has a 18-5 record. In 2022 she lost every other bout ending with a 4-4 record. One of those losses was to Chopra by a sixth round KO. Chopra is now forty years old and Taylor-Joy is slightly bigger, but fourteen years younger. You don’t want to mess with Furiosa. Taylor-Joy will even the score
SWIFT/KENDALL JENNER. Two Hall of Fame fighters in their eighth fight. Jenner olds a 4-3. Swift was 11-9 last year while Kendall was 11-7. Swift has lost four or her last five. Jenner has won three of her last five. I think Swift will win. Don’t ask me why. I guess it’s a gut feeling
