Instagram Live - January 10, 2022 - Zooey Deschanel:Zooey lays out the truth between the CWF and Queens at a taping of 'Before the Bell'
When we talk about the CWF we talk about them harshly because that's our role. Do we like the CWF? Well, that remains to be seen. What we do like however is that their General Manager, Natascha McElhone I believe, is willing to stand up to me and Amy [Acker] rather than letting us walk all over them. After the Tiera versus Victoria incident where they continue to spew misinformation in an exuberant intent to try and cover up their loss, they were willing to challenge us to a stable war and on top of that, a stable war we were going to be hosting: "From the Queens, with Love," on Valentines Day. Do we agree with much of what Miss McElhone said on her impromptu Instagram Live - no, no we don't.
But we have different approaches and that's what makes the FCBA unique.
They have admiration for us. Do they respect us? Well, we have the impression they do not and when someone doesn't respect you, you teach them to respect you.
If they're looking for a stable and girls who don't exhume confidence than they're barking up the wrong tree. It's that simple. However, if they can understand that, understand the role we play in the FCBA, understand the show we must put on, than they will understand us much better.
Do I feel any of their girls are a threat? Honestly, no. Not the ones on the cards for Valentines night. Is that a shot directly at CWF? Probably. But they built their roster the way they scouted versus the way we scouted.
To say I'm elated for the "From Queens, with Love" event is an understatement. I think if they can learn to understand us, Amy and I can learn to meet them halfway instead of berating them on every late night talk show and to FCBA credential press that exists.
Honestly, we'll see what their next move is. Miss McElhone is planning to attend at Rogers Arena as well which means all three of us will be in the same building. What happens? We'll see.
