Instagram Live - January 9, 2022 - Zooey Deschanel: Responding to the CWF's Instagram Live by General Manager Natascha McElhone
Well, of course she'd open with a jab at our name; I mean, what does the Celebrity Wrestling Federation have going for it? Where we are Queens, they are subjects. I think we proved that when Tiera decimated Victoria in Tiera's debut match. I wonder how long it took Justice to recover from that physically because I know she hasn't emotionally recovered.
Personally, I like the CWF, they're a bunch of jobbers we can bully around whenever we feel like it. How is that not a good thing? I know they don't like us but I would expect nothing less considering they've become our personal punching bag. What I don't think they understand is that they're earning a reputation of being bullied by us after the Victoria 'incident.' And Skovbye isn't going to be anywhere near as nice in the stable war as she was in her debut match. Of course, there's the other girls too who taste blood in the water. I don't know if Ms. McElhone is going to be at Rogers Arena for the stable war but Amy and I plan to be - we want to watch our girls dismantle the CWF one woman at a time.
They don't entirely respect us but they admire us... or at least they claim to given the caveats that Ms. McElhone started droning on about. They don't like our 'bravado' - our character, and genuinely call us arrogant. You can't be arrogant if you are right. I would say they need to realize that there's a finesse in show business and that translates to celebrity boxing. You can either be the show or you can keep your head down. We have chosen to be the show. As Lookout! will learn, in the words of Saraya: "this is OUR house."
Every good story needs a heel, a villainess; and we're happy to play the part. Saraya is probably the best example of this from the Queens but others are starting to come into their own - playing the part. I think that's why the fans like us. We're not the typical stable - you root for us even if we're the bad girls of the story.
Nevertheless, I think we're happy to see what the CWF has at the Queen's hosted "From the Queens With Love" event on February 14th. If you haven't gotten your tickets, only a few remain so get them now while you still can!
Ring, ring! Hello, Valentine's Day Fight Night? It's Zooey...
