TESS VALMORE
I.LAWRENCE/GROENEVELD. Lawrence has had nine career fights and has won seven. Her two losses were in her last to fights to Righetti and Upton. Groeneveld is apparently making her FCBA debut. I do not find her in the index
Her only known advantage is her height. She two inches taller than Lawrence. That won’t be enough Lawrence will win.
MODUGNO/H.CLAUSON. Modugno has a combined 7-7 record. She has had only one FCBA fight which she lost to Katic. Clauson has a combined record of 30-12. She has won seven of nine combined fights this year. Those two losses were in the FCBA. The two fought last year with Clauson winning by a KO5. Clauson will repeat.
M.T.STALLION/A.WILLERTON Stallion has had nine fights. She won the first four and lost the last five. Three of those losses were to Lawley, Palicki and Rhoda. Willerton has a combined record of 12-10. Her FCBA record is 8-5. She was 2-4 last year with three of those losses being to top ten lightweights or welters. I’m going to take a chance on Willerton
I.BALDWIN/E.TURNER. Baldwin has been in the FCBA for five years, but only has had seven fights losing three. She went 1-2 last year. Turner has been in the FCBA for six years and has only had ten fights, losing six. She has one fight last year beating Devon Windsor by a KO6. Baldwin has a four inch height advantage. Turner has the advantage of facing better fighters. Normally I would go with a four inch height advantage. This time I am going with experience. Turner will win.
KOSTEX/LAWLEY. This is not billed as a title fight. Kostek has a career record of
27-11 and won seven of eight last year. Boxing World has her ranked at the number on contender to Lawley’s title. Lawley has now won eighteen straight. Kostek’s one loss last year was to Lawley. “Godzilla” might be a little more casual than usual since this is not a title fight and she has a six inch height advantage. Lawley will pick up her nineteenth straight win
