The Rossi Criminal Organization, more colloquially known as "The Rossi Family," is arguably the most powerful organized crime family in the United States. Operating mostly out of New York and New Jersey, The Rossi Family implements various fronts to conduct their business. Gambling, narcotics, stolen goods, and real estate scams are just a few of the various avenues of crime the Rossi Family gets into. They are also known to have business ties with other organizations monitored by SPA, including the STAX corporation, Victoria Platt, Charlotte Brooks, and the McCarthy Crew. Led by the vicious and calculating Angela Rossi, The Rossi Family has become too big for SPA to ignore. The following intel is what SPA has been able to gather on the family. The Rossi Family Structure The Rossi Family consists of hundreds of members, but SPA has identified the core pieces. Above is the leadership chart. We believe that these are the key players in what has made the Rossi Family so successful.
Terms to Understand
Don - Also known as the "Boss" of the family, the Don is the ultimate leader of an organized crime family.
Consigliere - Typically the Don's closest confident. They don't run any of their own crews, but are often tasked with looking at the family from a different perspective and advising the boss on their movies.
Underboss - The 2nd in line to power under the Don. Usually a relative, but not always. The Underboss is a powerful force in any family, directly in charge of the Capos underneath them.
Caporegime (Capo) - Also known as a "Captain," these members of a crime family run their own "crews." They are the lifeblood of any organized crime family. They're the ones who run the streets and bring in the money as well as enforce the will of their Don.
Soldier - A Soldier serves directly underneath a Capo. These members have been "Made" which means they are official parts of the family. They aren't allowed to be touched by anyone else without a boss's say-so.
Associates - Non-made members. They aren't officially in the "family," but can still serve important roles. Often times associates work with soldiers on jobs or serve as front-men for the family's sham businesses. |

Rossi Family Leadership (played by Jamie Lynn-Sigler)Angela Rossi is the head of the Rossi Family. Everything links back to her. She came to power in the mid-2000s and never gave it up. With a fierce and loyal crew, she was able to topple every other major family in the Northeast United States. She also was able to broker deals with the likes of the STAX Corporation, Victoria Platt in the Midwest, Charlotte Brooks in the Southeast, and the McCarthy Biker Crew in the Southwest. While she may have made peace with them, she is anything but peaceful to her enemies. She's tough as nails. A brawler from the streets of Queens, she can beat anybody... yes, anybody. That doesn't mean she WILL though. But she's tough enough to do it. She recently was released from federal lockdown due to a re-trial. Somehow the jury found her innocent... no matter, she can only help herself for so long. SPA will continue to monitor her now that she's back on the streets.
 (played by Cara Buono)Gabriella Brizzi has been running things in coordination with Angela's Underboss for the last few months while Rossi was in prison. Under her leadership, The Rossi Family didn't cede any ground despite attempts by enemies. She personally squashed an attempted Mob War with another family. We'd mention them here... but they no longer exist. Brizzi isn't someone to often put herself in harm's way. That doesn't mean she can't handle herself, though. Brizzi has been linked to several murders over the years, but never formally convicted of any crimes. She owns a bakery on the Upper East Side, which seems to be completely clean. SPA has had it bugged for months and hasn't picked up on any illegal dealings there, despite Brizzi's frequent presence. (played by Bella Thorne)The "future of the family," Nicole Rossi is Angela's Underboss and Niece. She recently came into the role about a year ago after a short stint as a Capo. Others in the family may be discontent with being passed over, but they wouldn't dare say it to Nicole's face. A firecracker if there ever was one, Nicole is flat-out dangerous. Prone to fits of rage and violence, she has been an effective tool for Angela and Gabi. Now the question is how will she handle leadership during peace times? Make no mistake, Nicole is a cold-blooded killer. She is more than enough for most SPA Agents and may be more dangerous than that. Still, she is the best shot of bringing in a conviction with how sloppy she can be. SPA will definitely continue to monitor her movements. it's only a matter of time until she slips up.

The Dean Crew The largest Crew in The Rossi Family, the Dean Crew is led by longtime Rossi Family member Marie Dean. This crew covers the most ground, controlling all of New Jersey for Angela. They aren't necessarily the richest or the toughest, but when it comes to sheer size, they can be overwhelming.
 (played by Melissa Gorga) Marie Dean has a massive personality as well as a massive ego. She likes to consider herself the "Queen of New Jersey" just because her crew operates out of there. In reality, she's just another scumbag working for Rossi. That doesn't means she doesn't have her talents, though. Marie is an effective leader. She keeps her crew in line and makes sure they cover their tracks. The Dean family handles narcotics, using Newark as a central hub. They also have their hand in construction and gambling. As a result, Marie has made a nice little nest-egg for herself. And she will kill anyone who dares take it from her. (played by Aly Michalka) Rebecca Dean is Marie's cousin, which isn't surprising. Just as loud and brash as Marie, she was passed over for captainship by her own cousin. Still, she has shown no indication to SPA that that's enough reason for her to flip on her family. However, it's worth monitoring. Rebecca is one of Marie's toughest soldiers. She is long, athletic, and agile. She's quite the enforcer. (played by Jenni "Jwoww" Farley) The undisputed muscle of the Dean Crew, Faro is tough as nails. She's often used for intimidation and it's easy to see why. Having grown up in New Jersey, she knows the state just about as well as anyone. She knows where to find you. And then she knows how to break you. Often used to run down those who owe her boss money, Gloria has broken plenty of noses, arms, and legs. A couple of backs, too. (played by Kristen Cavallari) You'll most likely find Nicole Izzo in Atlantic City. The Izzos have had a cut of the Jersey Shore for a long time and Nicole has muscled her way into the casino business as a result. With the backing of Dean and Rossi, Nicole is one of the most influential people in the country when it comes to gambling. Both above board and below it, Izzo has ruthlessly dispatched any competition along the way. Will she continue in order to climb the ladder of the Rossi family...? (played by Troian Bellisario)
Mimi wasn't originally supposed to be in this life. She was going to be a lawyer. However, after tragedy struck her family she opted for revenge. Angela Rossi gave her the ammunition and pointed her in the right direction, then Mimi fired. She's run with the Dean Crew ever since. While she's the newest Soldier in the family, that doesn't mean she isn't wildly competent. Smart, quick on her feet, and with a real mind for numbers, she'll likely force her way into a Capo position before long. She's a rising star of the family and one that Nicole has taken note of... potentially to serve as her own Consigliere at some point. |

The Conti Crew
The Conti Crew is the richest crew in the family. Led by Lisa Conti and backed up by her soldiers, this crew stays on Rossi's good side through cold hard cash. Whether it's scheming their way into a score or beating someone until they pay up, they always bring in the money.
 (played by Linda Cardellini) Lisa Conti is the childhood best friend of Angela Rossi. They grew up on the same block, went to school together, and eventually went into business together. As a result, when Angela was dividing the power share between her Captains, she gave her closest friend the most lucrative avenue. With Manhattan, The Bronx, and Queens under her perview Lisa has maintained an impressive revenue stream that she kicks up to Angela. With both major airports under her domain, Conti has perfected the art of smuggling. Her people steal whatever they can get their hands on. Plus, she has political connections to keep the family out of the minds of local authorities. Luckily, SPA isn't local. (played by Aya Cash) Lucy Bassi, the older sister to Marian Bassi, makes more money for the Conti crew than anyone else. How does she do it? SPA would like to know. It seems she has her hands in a little bit of everything, but is able to maximize the profits of everything she touches. She has connections at both the ports and the airports. She's been involved in construction as well. She's the family's best earner, plain and simple. And she's got a hell of a right hook, to boot. (played by Lacey Chabert) Marian Bassi, Lucy's younger sister, has made a name for herself in two industries: Entertainment and Adult Entertainment. By getting involved in show business, Marian has made high profile contacts who are more likely to go to bat for them in the case of PR disasters... an interesting way to win over a jury. Then of course there's the more adult side of things. She may be called a "madam" by some, but by others they just know her as the woman to kick up to for protection. And if they don't... well, she's been known to leave a few of her workers without any teeth. They always pay up next time, though. (played by Brooke Hogan) Every crew needs muscle, and Olivia Barone fills that need for the Conti Crew. Large and in charge, she handles the seedier areas of the city for Conti. She makes sure that the money comes in when it needs to. She's also very adapt at carrying out hits, though SPA hasn't been able to prove it. She's been linked to her fair share of murders and as such was a valuable asset for Rossi during her rise to power. Now she maintains order in the name of the family.

The Piras Crew
Neither the largest nor the richest in the Rossi Family, the Piras Crew brings a very valuable asset to the table... muscle. A family filled with old-school values, they are fiercely loyal to whoever is calling the shots. You won't find any sloppiness or indulgence here. This crew is like a well-oiled machine.
 (played by Alicia Keys) Many would think being saddled with the poorest part of the territory would cause friction between the Boss and their Captain. Not so with Nadine Piras. Perhaps that is why Angela put her in charge of Staten Island and Brooklyn. Sure, there's some money to be made there, but it's definitely a difficult thing to finesse. As such, the Piras Crew doesn't bring in much dough. What they do bring in though is a level of brutality and professionalism unmatched by the other crews. And this is all largely due to Nadine. She's a ruthless killer and a stickler for the rules. There will be no flipping her and likely no flipping her crew. However, SPA must remain vigilant because if we are to go after Rossi... Nadine will fight us the hardest.
 (played by Alice Sabatini) A recruit from the "Old Country," Sabrina was "Made" overseas in Italy. As a result, she's as serious as it comes when it comes to the value of this crime family. It's no use in trying to flip her. She would never inform. She does things old-school. And as a result she's incredibly, incredibly dangerous. Well that plus an impressive physical frame... (played by Leah Remini) Speaking of old-school... Gemma Moretti has been involved in organized crime for literal decades. She was actually a mentor to the likes of Rossi, Brizzi, and Conti. So while it is surprising that she isn't a Capo, perhaps it's because she's just so damn effective as an enforcer. If you see Gemma coming down the street and you owe her money, you better start writing your will right then and there. Because there's no running. There's no hiding. There's no escaping. She'll put you in the ground for such an offense then pick your pockets at the funeral. (played by Demi Lovato) Anna Pastore is a former regional boxing champ. She's left the ring and instead has been using her fists in service to her Godmother, Angela Rossi. While Pastore does bring in some money running a loan sharking business with Moretti, it's nothing remarkable. It's unlikely that she even is in this lifestyle for the money. More than likely she just likes the fight, but hated a bell telling her when to stop. Well, there's no bell to tell her to stop now. And she likely won't if she gets her hands on you. |
