TESS VALMORE
MING X1/HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY. Ming Xi has a combined record of 12-10-1 and is 9-6 in the FCBA. She is 4-1-1 for the year with a win over Agdal and a draw with Corrigan. Huntington Whiteley has a combined record of 20-34. She has a FCBA record of 19-22 and is 0-7 for the year. She has lost her last nine. In 2020 she was in the top ten lightweights. One of losses this year was to Ming Xi when she suffered six round KO. She had beaten Ming Xi 2019 with a KO5. I have to go with Ming Xi to win
DOBREV/OLSEN. This will be Dobrev’s 98th fight on the way to the Hall of Fame. She already has the required win ratio. She is 7-1 for the year with that loss being to Kosarin. This will be Olsen’s 95th fight. She is also on the way to the Hall of Fame as she too has the required win ratio. She is 14-3 for the year. Her losses were to Larson, Reinhart and Kosarin. The two have fought twice before with each having a win, so this far the best of three. The two are the same age with Dobrev being over an inch taller. I think Dobrev will win
McMANN/LIVELY. McMann has a career record of 20-2 and is 7-0 for the year with wins over Aldridge and Freeman. Lively has a career record of 40-42 She has held the Unified Bantam title once. This year she has beaten Upton. Boccia and Leotta. Her losses were to James in a title fight, Tahnee Atkinson, Kendall Jenner and Tatangelo. McMann is nine years younger, but she simply hasn’t fought the competition that Lively has. Lively in seven
WINSTEAD/DIDONATO. This is the third Winstead Santa-Kini bout. This year against DiDonato. Winstead has a 73-55 record of a 57% win ratio against fighting top talent her whole career. She has held the Unified Lightweight title three times. jDiDonato has been busy this year with a 15-8 record. One of those losses was to Winstead. DiDonato is seven years younger and two inches taller.
It didn’t help her in the first fight, but I think it will in this fight. DiDonato
KYLIE JENNER/SWIFT. Kylie Jenner has risen to ten in Boxing Worlds lightweight rankings while Swift has fallen to twelve. I’m not sure I agree with those rankings, but then I admit I am not a big fan of the Jenner-Kardashian clan. Jenner is 9-3 for the year with wins over her sister and Swift is 10-8 for the year and has lost four of her last five. She has beaten Jenner once so this is for the best of three. I go with Swift. She’s blonde and Jenner isn’t
