After a brief first-round taste of Brianna’s power, Cobie kept things on the perimeter, flirty with the jab and up on her toes, fighting at arm’s length. She kept this up for seven minutes, closing out the first round and mostly avoiding Dale’s handiwork in the second and third. In the fourth a lunging right cross took Smulder’s flush on the chin and she bounced off the ropes, straight into a fleshy embrace from Brianna. Cobie would spend the next five minutes as the unfortunate subject of a power-punching clinic from Dale. Finally, her legs would lock up and Smulders took a seat on the canvas, leaning back against the strands through the count, giving Brianna Marie Dale the KO5 as she advance to the Elite Eight!
