New Stable Announced: "Queens of Absolution"
Los Angeles, California - the Microsoft Theater. Pundits and stable representatives gathered in anticipation of an announcement to the FCBA of which no one was entirely certain would be. For weeks, there have been circulation of clandestine meetings between Amy Acker, Zoey Deschanel, and a mysterious beautiful woman with raven hair and skin as white as snow. The mystery woman, only known as Snow, seen photographed with Acker, Deschanel, and later FCBA participants has led to a social media storm about what Snow was doing. It was all coming to a head however, on a breezy day in downtown Los Angeles.
The stage was set, the Queens of Absolution, or QoA, insignia could be found just about everywhere in the Microsoft Theater although only speculation could be ascertained.
It was now showtime. In the theater, the lights darkened, the cameras focused on the stage, and the stage lit up in a purple-pink color scheme with the Queens of Absolution insignia displayed on the large screen which would be behind the presenters. The theater fell silent - this was what everyone had been waiting for after weeks of speculation on social media.
Making their way to the stage, Amy Acker, Zoey Deschanel, and Snow took their spots, looking out into the gathered crowd.
Snow opened the conference, verbalizing her dialog with motions. "Most of you are wondering why you have been asked to join us here in Los Angeles," she began before continuing, "well I'm Snow and today we are announcing the stable revolution. Today, starts the first of what will leave a mark on the FCBA as talent new and old have been signed to the Queens of Absolution, the stable that has been rumored on social media for quite a while."
The woman continued with an overconfident smirk on her face shared by Acker and Deschanel: "Ready to take us on? I'd think twice before you challenge the Queens," she said much to the dismay of everyone present. With that, Amy Acker began to speak. "We have a plan, and it starts with these hard working women who are now a part of the QoA.
As Acker began to speak in almost a condescending undertone she usually reserved for acting roles, the brunette started the announcement of the initial members of the new stable.
"One of the two faces of the Queens, standing at 5'10" and hailing from Canada, is Elyse Levesque. Her athleticism both in and out of the ring as well as her nature fits perfectly with what we're trying to accomplish."
As Levesque walked onto the stage, Acker continued, "and the second new face of the Queens is someone who has not only beauty in youth but experience beyond her years: Saraya."
Saraya made herself visible on the stage and the Queens of Absolution insignia was replaced by a graphic displaying Elyse and Saraya in between the QoA insignia.
Acker continued in order after introducing the lightweights/welterweights to the stage. Halston Sage, Krysten Ritter, Kelli Berglund, and Madelaine Petsch took to the stage as their names were announced by Amy. All of these women look far more confident than usual - clearly something of intrigue was going on at the headquarters of the Queens of Absolution in Los Angeles.
As the crowd died down, Zoey Deschanel took over to speak. "How?, you may be asking yourself. Well, Queens of Absolution was not only months of work but the head office is lead hands on. Snow shall be the chairperson, benefactor, and owner. While she's never boxed, her keen eye for people will allow us to find the diamonds in the rough. You can't compete in the FCBA without management. Amy is the Chief Executive Officer and of course, there myself who is the Chief Operating Officer. And we're here to stay."
After Deschanel made her part of the announcement, Saraya who had been given a microphone to begun to speak in her native accent. "This is our house and anyone who dares to get in our way will find out that absolution is just beginning of what the Queens can do."
Pyrotechnics went off on the stage and the purple-pink color scheme turned to crimson as Saraya made her statement. "Get in line," she finished.
With that, Snow took her mic to simply say: "have any questions, talk to us at the press junket, but for now we are the Queens of Absolution and the FCBA shall know our name." The trio of leadership and female boxers all turned around and walked off the stage.
Within minutes, #AbsolutionQueens was a trending social media topic as various pundits covered what had just been said.
Suddenly, a video popped up, officially thanking the Dollhouse for not revealing the Queens of Absolution during its clandestine operations and for allowing QoA to sign Saraya. As the video ended a cut was placed into with Saraya and Elyse standing together when they both said "come and get us so we can put you down"
Roster Flashing on the Stage Screens:
Elyse Levesque - 5'10" light/welter weight.
Saraya - 5'8" - Lightweight
Krysten Ritter - 5'9" - light/welterweight
Kelli Berglund - 5'4" - flyweight
Halston Sage - 5'5 - Bantam
Madelaine Petsch - 5'5.5" - Bantam
Amy Acker turned around which stopped everyone in their tracks as she lifted her microphone to her mouth. "Oh, and before you get any ideas, we'll see you at the Welcome Queens mini-PPV event here in Los Angeles. The challenges are now open."
All of the Queens of Absolution disappeared to the backstage leaving the stage and theater lighting in its crimson color.
