5. Nina Agdal vs Ming Xi
Nina:

BEFORE:
Ex-champion Nina Agdal recently came off an important win over fellow Vixen Alexis Ren, albeit with some interfering help from some other stablemates. Tonight, she’s all alone in the dressing room, facing off against the most recent signee to Fates Boxing, Ming Xi (full name Ming Mengyao).
“I’m not sure what they saw in her,” Nina acting haughty in the pre-fight press conference, rolling her eyes and smirking from the table. “Isn’t she only known for beating up other Chinese models? I’m glad she agreed to fight me - heaven knows how everyone else is scared now that they’ve seen what I can do in the ring.”
Ming, of course, not having the dressing down, looking peeved and putting on her own mean-girl face at the other end of the table.
“Wow, who knew Nina was such a b*tch. I wanted to shake her hand backstage, but she just walked right past me with her nose turned in the air,” Ming says. “This was meant to be a friendly contest on home turf, but it just got personal, and I have no problems with beating her up.”
Ladies model for a living, so their bodies are still in tip-top shape: lean and slender, with Nina having the slightly more rigorous routine but Ming Xi also having trained hard in recent weeks to prove she belongs on the stable’s roster.
In one corner, Nina’s in a dark navy blue bikini top and white boxing trunks, red gloves. In the other, Ming has gone for a black brassier top, light pink boxing trunks, and white gloves. Referee signals for the start of this contest, and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Lightweight action!
ROUND 1:
Nina ramping up from 0 to 100 in a flash, which just goes to show how revved up she’s been after fighting at the championship level for so long. She slams an early combo into Ming’s arms, putting her on notice, before constantly keeping up the pressure for the first two minutes. Ming looks super shocked and not knowing whether to fight back or defend herself, opts for that deer-in-the-headlights look as Nina raps leather into her arms and body, driving her about the ring. Ming on occasion attempts to fire a combo back, deftly hitting the face, but almost always eats another combo in turn for her efforts. Bell rings and the Chinese fighter looks less sure than when she started, trying to maintain a brave face on her way back to the corner.
ROUND 2:
Ming fights back, right jab tagging Nina on the face repeatedly, stunning the Danish model in turn. Agdal looks stunned by the Chinese model’s reach, but should have realized that she’s in the same job family as her long before. Another left-right combo lands on her nose, snapping her head back, with Ming swerving back to avoid a return swing on reflex. This time, Xi is in control, pushing the former champ backwards, and paying her back for that earlier embarrassment. Ming almost drives the Vixen into the sea, but gets chased back by Nina’s return hook, which misses, of course, but at least makes her think twice about rushing all the way in.
ROUND 3:
Xi showing off her moves, that tall and lanky body of hers showing off its agility. She blocks an early combo from Nina before weaving to the side to avoid another big hook. Return cross crunches into Nina’s lips, making her wince and grunt, before another flurry of blows pounds and prods away at her arms and body. Nina looks stunned, the wind knocked out of her sails after that final right cross catches her firm on the tummy, has to fold backwards to catch her breath, whilst Ming Xi continues to chase her backwards with a constant stream of jabs. BIG round for Xi at the bell, with Ming barely getting scratched this round and then conversely dishing it out all the way.
ROUND 4:
Nina responds with a big rush into Ming’s face, wanting to shock and awe her Chinese counterpart. Ming takes a left overhand to the temple early, getting blown backwards, with Agdal fast on her tail. Nina pays her back with steady combos thudding into her torso, bending her over with several grunts, then rocking her to the arms with heavy hooks, intending to score an early upset. Ming’s swerving and weaving to save herself, tummy taking another low hook to send her stumbling to the side, protecting her head at all costs. The Chinese girl tries to fend off Nina with her right arm extended, poking at the face, but Nina merely slamming it out of the way and driving another cross in between the eyes. Ming’s turn to almost get driven into the ropes, thankfully able to scoot out of danger each time before Nina can pin her down.
ROUND 5:
Nina is still playing all her cards at once, darting inwards to immediately hammer Ming across the arms. Ming lets out a shout of surprise as those forearms of hers are getting battered and bruised, but the Chinese model still avoids the follow-up hook by the skin of her teeth, though how much longer she can avoid the Danish model is up in the air. Agdal barrels into her by the ropes, pinning her down with a right fist drilled up into the stomach, another uppercut shocking Ming’s head and torso upwards and almost bent over the top rope! Ming clinching forward, breathing desperately on the shoulder and neck, trying to control Nina but getting her tummy beaten on with the Vixen forcing her shoulders in, fists still swinging away at the waistline till Ming Xi GOES DOWN, BENT OVER and falling to her knees! Nina hisses down at her before parading back to the neutral corner! Ming has a look of pain on her face, wincing hard, but immediately attempting to get back up as the referee starts the count above her. 4… 5… The Chinese model is determined as ever to recover and take the fight back to her fellow model, but that tanned waistline still throbbing in pain. She only manages to straighten up by the count of 8, with Nina gesturing rudely at her to come back into the fray, if she dares!
ROUND 6:
NINA CHARGING, wanting to finish Ming off! Left-right combos bashing into the arms, driving Ming back again, but Xi holds her ground, taking one or two off the forehead but responds in kind with a swift hook to the jawline, which dazes Nina just enough to blunt her offense. Ming beats back the challenge with a roar and rip of her own, growling as she shocks Nina to the chest with a right hook, another glove driven across the lips to rock her backwards some more. The Fates superstarlet ain’t giving up the fight just yet, as she chases Nina with several thumps to her toned tummy, showing off her own power and resolve, and forcing Agdal to cover up all over, or suffer the same fate as her opponent. Round ends and Ming Xi pulls out a surprising draw, having weathered the former champ’s assault and then dished it out back on her own terms!
ROUND 7:
Nina looks tired, far too much energy spent on taking out this former Free Agent. It’s the seventh round and Agdal is more surprised at her foe’s resilience, as Ming Xi blocks another flurry to her face and body, then punts a right hand of her own into the side of her face, shocking her with precision and poise. Xi slowly pushes her way in, exploiting the Vixen’s sluggishness with sharp blows off the cheek and chin, then going under Nina’s arms to prod the tummy, further driving Nina back into a corner with louder and louder grunts. Nina tries to save herself with a Hail Mary swing to the head, but Ming quickly swerves to avoid it! Big swing of her own STUNS the Vixen across the chin, making her sag into the turnbuckle! AND HERE COMES MING, drilling more shots off the sides and arms, bashing away at Nina in one place!! Agdal in a rough spot, eyelids fluttering as she surges in to try and clinch up, save her own soul, but it’s a messy clinch, her arms lazily draped over Ming’s shoulders and neck, allowing the Chinese sweetheart to gnash her teeth in her rival’s ear, free hands LASHING away at Danish under tummy, Nina’s butt and torso getting shoved in between the hard turnbuckles! Final uppercut heaves into the belly, and DOWN AGDAL GOES, her dazed lips fluttering down Ming’s chest and tummy, before she pools at the Asian girl’s feet! It’s an unexpected KNOCKDOWN for the newest Fates Angel! Referee starts the count, but poor Agdal is groaned over and hugging her body throughout, failing to even make it back to one knee! He hits the count of 10 and has no choice but to WAVE this off!! It’s OVER!
Official Decision: Ming Xi defeats Nina Agdal via KO7!
AFTER:
Ming Xi lets out a shout of triumph, circling about the ring with both hands thrown into the air. She’s put the rest of the Lightweight division on notice tonight with this important win over the former champion, later striding back up to Nina to rub in her superiority.
Nina, still on her knees, groans as she’s pulled upwards by her hair, Ming Xi grinning down into her face before slapping her multiple times off the top of her head and across her cheek. Then, Xi shoves the former champ down onto her side, as Nina hits the deck with a final groan.
“She underestimated me, and look what happened,” Ming tells reporters later by ringside, still smirking wide. “With Fates behind my back, I’m gonna take this division by storm!”
