2. Emma Watson vs Nell Tiger Free II
Emma:
(31, 5’5, 58:33 FCBA, VIXENs)
Nell:
(22, 5’5, 12:4 FCBA, VIXENs)
BEFORE:
“Not to knock Nell, but she got lucky last time,” Miss Watson looking smug in the pre-fight interview, flashing her eyelids at the reporters backstage. The Harry Potter starlet has a slew of fights lined up for the rest of the year, from facing off against Front Street darling Kristen Stewart at the end of the month, to being featured on the next Fight Night Live (FNL) card in December. “I’m well on my way towards the Hall-of-Fame,” she says again, with a nod. “Dear Lils has no chance against me.”
Nell Tiger Free looks slightly slighted that her opponent tonight isn’t entirely focused on her. She chooses to concentrate on her earlier victory, emphasizing it to the press over and over again: “I beat her once, I can do it again. People underestimate me as the newest Flyweight member of the roster, but I’ll show them who’s boss.”
Nell’s balancing from left to right in the ring, raising an arm when the announcer calls out her name. Tiger Free’s wearing a red sports bra and a white bikini bottom. She has black gloves on either hand. In the other corner, Emma Watson’s soaking in the cheers and chanting of her name, smiling wide and looking entirely confident tonight. The other Vixen is wearing a black sports bra and white boxing trunks. She has blue gloves on either hand.
Referee signals for the bell, and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!
ROUND 1:
Short bursts of action as Nell and Emma clash repeatedly in the center of the ring. Ladies exchange jab combos in all-out warfare, one girl wanting to prove she’s the better Flyweight in these parts, the other refusing to go down a second time. Nell lets loose a hook that slams into the side of Emma’s arm, momentarily destabilizing her, but Watson quickly regroups and pounds a left hook into the youngster’s stomach. They’re both equal in height and built, so it might go down to the wire of who’s the more experienced of the pair. Nell lets out another shout of triumph after nailing Emma off the chin with a well-placed cross. But has to chase the Harry Potter starlet all the way to the other end of the ring. Watson with a pale-faced grin on her face, knows she didn’t take the first round but confident in the many others to come.
ROUND 2:
Emma plays it cool, staying at a safe distance and tagging the newcomer off her face whenever she gets in close. Nell instead going in hot, opposite playbook of hotter aggression, lashing at Watson’s body to get her moving even faster, then hounding her to the head with more combinations fast and furious. Emma ain’t performing at her best, no longer smiling as she gets pushed back by another right cross to the middle of her arms. So far, Nell’s dominating, taking the first round and now the second with hotter intent. She keeps slamming punches into Emma’s frame, and all the while, Emma’s barely firing back, keeping her guard firm and protecting her head at all costs. She surprises Nell with a sudden counter left to the face after dipping her head and shoulders down to the side to avoid a big hook. Magical’s always known for her counter-punching skill, which she’s putting to a show in this fight.
ROUND 3:
Nell’s still pressing in, lunging at her body with lefts and rights, and scoring off the waistline to draw labored breaths from Watson. Emma is still having trouble dealing with the youngster’s aggression, trying to fend her off with that left hand outstretched and prodding. It’s doing the job for now, Nell getting shocked by that left jab, then lunging under the arms to smack the belly. Emma grunting, responding with a quick flurry to the nose and mouth, sending the signal she ain’t to be trifled with. Nell still looks determined at the end, but doesn’t realize she got outpointed overall. Light at the end of the tunnel for Watson, who wins the first round of the evening.
ROUND 4:
Nell not giving up the chase, of course, mixing up her attacks with overhands now to keep Watson guessing. It’s working, with Emma getting nailed with shots between the eyes, reeling back and encouraging Tiger Free to go after her body time and time again. Nell tries for a sudden rush, drilling a right hand to the body to earn a gruff shout of pain from Magical, but a follow-up overhand to the arms has Watson barreling towards the ropes, looking for air. Nell is too tired to give chase now, getting picked off from a distance by those long-ranged jabs. Emma’s a former champ, and it’ll take more than that to bring her down. But that’s what she said about herself the last time these two fought, and with Nell still taking rounds for herself as though they were nothing, this might be a repeat of the previous.
ROUND 5:
Not if Emma can help it, of course, the Harry Potter starlet fending off early attacks from Tiger Free, then responding with a well-placed shot off the head or smack into the chin. It’s getting the job done, with Nell getting stopped in her tracks and then reevaluating her position with a pained expression. Emma’s turn to press in, Magical landing shots off the arms and then returning the favor with bumps to the belly, throwing Tiger Free backwards from the growing onslaught. Nell tries to fight back in the third minute but her hook sails by overhead, Emma dodging and weaving under before blasting another hook into her midsection to fold her over and back. Sound of the bell and it’s a shutout performance for Watson.
ROUND 6:
Nell looks bothered, wavering as she comes out of the gate. She exchanges hands with Watson, both ladies circling. Emma behaving the opposite, confident strides forward, then slamming a loud right into the arms, another flurry to the body to send Nell reeling. Tiger Free’s too flushed and feeling tired to intercept all at once, gets nailed to the chin by another crushing cross, sending her crashing into the ropes! AND HERE COMES EMMA, wailing away at the newcomer Brit, thrashing her head left and right before dipping those elbows and plugging that vulnerable belly to FOLD the youngster over! Nell, in trouble, looks shocked and bent over from the exertion, takes another uppercut to the body which LIFTS her off her feet, and DOWN SHE GOES, hugging her midsection with her forehead angled down to the canvas! Referee’s quick to circle in, herd Miss Watson back to her neutral corner! Magical’s smirking wide, looking pink-faced as well from the earlier melees, but confident in her own ability to come out on top! Nell’s trying to push herself off the ground, grabbing the nearby ropes for support, but doesn’t make it past one leg, as the referee’s count runs all the way up and out! It’s OVER!
Official Decision: Emma Watson defeats Nell Tiger Free via KO6!
AFTER:
Redemption for Emma Watson, who throws her hands in the air and parades about the ring. She’s one step closer to crossing the finish line and beating Lily Collins into the Hall-of-Fame, and with her rival so far away in the back mirror, one wonders if this is a race Collins can even begin to compete in.
For Nell Tiger Free, she has to be helped to her feet, then to her stool, still hunched over and hugging her body, shooing off the concerned medics and Steve Boyd. At least Emma comes over moments later and checks on her. There’s pleasantries exchanged both ways, but that smile on Nell’s lips is plastic, and everyone can see it, including Emma.
“She got lucky last time, what have I been saying,” Emma says to reporters with a wide smile. “I know she’ll want another fight to break the tie at some point in the future, but dear Nell should stick to her lane for now, focus on not getting KO’ed by people like Sink and Bobby Brown. And leave the big Flyweights to play.”
Nell shakes her head, her brow furrowed as she’s escorted out of the arena. Despite Emma’s comments, her words are fiery and defiant when she speaks to the press backstage. “If luck was involved, I’d say Emma was the one who scored lucky. I was dominating the fight for the first half. And I’ll knock her out again when we meet a third time to settle this. Personally, I hope Lily and Emma kick each others’ asses. I couldn’t care less.”
