TESS VALMORE
The October PPV featured forty six fights with two of the four titles changing hands. Lili Reinhart successfully defended her bantamweight title by knocking out Elettra Lamborghini. It was her fifth title defense. Robyn Lawley made her third title defense memorable by putting Kate Upton away in the ninth. The other two title holders were’t so lucky. Brec Bassinger surprised me by taking the Flyweight title from Dove Cameron. She came from behind to flatten Cameron in the eighth. Finally, the lightweight title belt is around the waist of Lily James after she took the title from Nina Agdal
Everybody knows that Katy Perry and I are not friends. In fact, we are enemies. I was delighted when Yvonne rang her chimes and she retired. She bragged about the fighters she beat, not mentioning that one of those wins was the result of a terrible foul. Speaking of the terribly fouled fighter, Theron fought her 450th fight She claims she is not going to fight enough to reach 500, but then said it all depends on how future fights go.
Bassinger is the new flyweight champion I don’t expect her reign to be long. Several of the top ten flyweights suffered losses in the PPV, but Lilly Collins, Camila Mendes, Cheryl Cole and Avril Lavigne are all good candidates who could strip the title from Bassinger
Reinhart faces no shortage of bantams who want her title. Bella Thorne, Olsen. Dobrev and Kosarin are probably the top contenders
Lily James now rules the lightweights. She is undefeated in fifteen fights and has already beaten Swift, Kendall Jenner, Winstead and Strahovski this year, but there is still no shortage of contenders. Taylor Hill, Ren, Kylie Jenner, DiDonato and Lively are good choices. That could change, if Kylie loses to her sister in the upcoming Kendall Jenner Birthday Bash
Robyn “Godzilla” Lawley looks unbeatable due her size. He has won sixteen straight, but that’s deceptive. She has been beaten thirteen times, She has already beaten Upton, Boccia, Decker, Kostek and Hannah Ferguson this year. The obvious opponent is Amanda Righetti with Hilary Rhoda in the wings. It will be interesting to see how long Lawley can avoid Righetti.
