Lots to say about Olivia Holt’s most recent title run, with some saying it was unprecedented for her dominance since January, whereas others would say giving the belts to fellow stablemate Camila Mendes was nothing more than nepotism. Let Camila catch you saying that, however, will earn you a swift kick to the teeth.

“I resent any suggestion that I got handed the title belt free-of-charge,” Camila replies to a reporter early on at the press conference, her dark eyebrows narrowed in the poor man’s direction. If looks could kill, the Riverdale starlet could easily murder an entire nation. “I won that belt fair and square, and put in blood, sweat and tears to get to where I am today. Any insinuation otherwise is just complete bullshit.”

The Odds & Ends girl hoists her newly won title belt a little more protectively over one shoulder, before continuing: “As for Megan Fox, she’s a nobody trying to cling onto her past glory. There’s a reason Hollywood moved on from her. It’s pathetic how she’s trying to mount a comeback. It’ll be my pleasure to deny her her place in the Hall-of-Fame after tonight.”

Some cutting words from the Flyweight champ, and it looks like Camila ain’t planning on losing her hard-won straps, especially to an actress eight years her senior - considered a lifetime in Hollywood years. Fox, meanwhile, is trying to keep her cool. Lots riding on her beautiful shoulders tonight with both the title and yes, her qualification into the Hall-of-Fame.

“Mendes is a good actress on screen - I’ve seen some of her work up close,” Fox begins, pursing ruby lips in a white blouse and long leather tights. “But she’s what we call a counterfeit champion - she’s yet to gain any legitimacy or respect from the rest of us back in the locker room. Frankly, I couldn’t care less about my place in the HoF. What I intend to do tonight is to expose Mendes for the fraud she is.”

Tough words from the VIX corner as well, as the two ladies finally meet in the center of the room, and you can cut the tension with a knife as the slightly taller Fox meets her younger brunette counterpart head-on. Mendes is still cradling that title belt over her shoulder as if it’s the last time she’ll get a feel of it, all the while glaring daggers into the veteran actress’ eyes. Fox maintains the stare with both hands on her hips, licking her lips to the side as she eyes a possible second title run by the end of the night.

Fight night and here comes the challenger first, Fox strutting down the ramp looking ready for a new lease of life. The actress has seen a recent revitalisation of her Hollywood career, recently starring in cult thriller Till Death and going on to defy the typical typecast roles she was known for in her youth. Fox probably has been thinking along the same lines in her own boxing career, at the sweet age of 35 going for broke in a risk-it-all-maneuver for tonight’s match-up against the up-and-coming champ.

Mendes, meanwhile, is sailing the waves of popularity and sex appeal - some have even labelled her as the second coming of Fox - making her entrance into the arena in a gyrating dance and shake of the hips on stage, the Flyweight title belt wrapped firmly around her waist. Regardless of what Fox said earlier, the Odds & Ends starlet did battle her fellow stablemate to a grueling KO9 victory, and has the battle scars to prove it.

In the ring, Mendes is looking stern like a told-off schoolgirl, slowly pulling off her denim shorts to reveal a black bikini underneath, and complete with her loose black blouse with white stripes across, she looks ready to rumble. Mendes is in bright red gloves for this contest. Megan has gone for a classic hot pink bikini top, white boxing trunks below and a pair of black gloves, her jet-black hair tied into a ponytail.

In the center of the ring, the referee hoists the Flyweight title belt high into the air before handing it over to the ring official. Girls are all set in their corners, and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action! This here’s for the Unified Flyweight Title!

ROUND 1:
The champ bounces forward strongly to start, sending rippling shots down the middle to test the older woman’s resolve, maybe even blow Fox off her feet and her dreams out of the water in the very first minute of the very first round. Mendes, of course, has wishful thinking, but that doesn’t mean Fox isn’t troubled by the early salvos, tightening her guard over her chest and taking each powerful shot to the middle with a loud grunt. Fox always knew it was going to be a risk facing off against a hungry, younger competitor, and the first round of getting pounded upon and chased down is the result. Mendes’ confidence only rises by the minute as she lands a stiff right hand to Megan’s body as early target practice, but doesn’t pin the Vixen down as much as she’d like to. Fox, however, has to do much more than simply jab back at the champion’s face if she wants to win this fight and see her rise to the pedestal of the very best in the business. Wide round for Camila, who expected nothing less, as she lets out a roar on her way back to her corner after the bell.

ROUND 2:
Mendes wants a repeat of the last, and that’s evident by the spring in her step and constantly moving hands. The Odds & Ends starlet scoots in with supreme confidence and throws the very first straight hand directly to Megan’s arms, just like last time. But Fox has other tricks up her sleeves besides getting bullied in the courtyard, immediately responding with a cross of her own that surprisingly sails into Camila’s face unintercepted! OUCH! Camila forced to eat leather as her lips disappear from that one shocking blow to her lower jawline, which tosses her head back with a grunt and spray of spit - it’s testament indeed to the challenger’s speed and power even at her age, and Camila is finding that out the hard way as Fox continues to chase her backwards with steady jab combos streaking in and out, in and out, like a seasoned veteran! Mendes with no choice but to cover, duck and scram, and to her credit, she does manage to bang a hook or two off Megan’s tummy to stop the bleeding completely down the line, but each time she lands a shot, Megan bounces another hard punch off her face to throw her head back even further. Bell rings and Fox with a return smile for the cameras, pumping an arm at a good round of her own to even things out.

ROUND 3:
Camila’s learned the hard way that her opponent tonight ain’t some washed up, ex-Hollywood has-been. The champ decides to stay at a distance for the first minute, jabbing cautiously at Fox and taking the time to test her defences out. Fox, however, with less time for such hesitation. The Vixen’s playing it risky with short but sudden lunges forward, using her slight reach advantage to score on Mendes’ face and chest before Camila gets a chance to react, throwing her further back as a third such overhand right bounces off the forehead with a heavy grunt. But Mendes decides enough’s enough as well towards the end of the third, blocking yet another hook designed for her head and then matching Megan’s move as she swings a right hand low instead, catching Fox on the ribs and earning her a wince for the cameras. Ladies are definitely intent on punishing each other, and this round sees some equal damage dealt both ways!

ROUND 4:
Mendes’ young and toned body, however, is made for brawling, and she knows that the older Fox is perhaps not as sturdy as her own frame. Fox is grunting, letting out more shouts of pain as Mendes decides to target her midsection, her shorter height making it almost the perfect target for her to fire one-two combos straight in and under Megan’s arms, earning a couple of ooouffs and hgggnnhs from the Vixen’s lips. Fox curses out loud by the second half of the round, one of her arms draped gingerly around her upper torso in case Camila decides to paint her tummy red from all that punishment. Mendes then shows her own agility by swerving to avoid a hook from Fox, who has decided (wrongly) that the American’s pretty brunette head might be the best open target in return. But Mendes is just too fresh and eager to move, side-stepping another of Fox’s lunges before catching the dark-haired woman with a swipe across her chest to end the round wide.

ROUND 5:
Fox continues to have trouble finding off the body shots, with Camila keeping her body and head surface small and locked behind her arms whilst barreling in over and over again to thump leather to Megan’s abdomen, a couple more swipes aimed at the Vixen’s chest and bikini fabric top, further drawing a frown and panic from the challenger’s face. Fox can’t get away in the first minute alone, opts to clinch up with the fiery champ, hoping to control her with arms wrapped around her upper torso and shoulders. But it’s a bad mistake, with Mendes letting her fists fly underneath with even MORE fervour, her biceps bulging as she muscles Fox into the ropes and pins her there, landing crunching shots to side of her face up top and then more gloves bunched into the sides to fold Fox over in her arms. Fox needs to stay alive for another minute or so to make it to the next round, but Mendes ain’t taking no for an answer, growling in Fox’s collarbone as she rocks the Vixen with an uppercut to the chin, another DRILLED into her belly button to bend the challenger over in half with a HOUUUFFF, and DOWN MEGAN GOES, sent to all fours and sputtering, an arm hugging her torso as the champ scores the first KNOCKDOWN of the evening! Fox has a look of hatred on her face, however, her brow gleaming with sweat even as she hauls herself off the canvas and makes it back up for the count of 8. It could be that look of disdain mixed with amusement at the other end of the ring, with Mendes showing off what a champ can do when she’s pressed and insulted like that. Camila definitely walks away with the fifth round, and in her eyes, it’s only a matter of time before the second half of this fight ends the same way.

ROUND 6:
Fox continues to struggle in the face of an overeager body-puncher, Mendes still brimming with energy and having a if-it-ain’t-broke mindset, as she scours in fast and swings low at Megan’s body, hoping to land a liver shot or another direct torpedo to the mid-bow to sink Megan’s ship permanently. Fox, however, adapting down the line, keeps her arms locked by her sides and her head lower, managing to intercept more than one tight hook streakin’ in and aimed for her ribs or side tummy. Still, Mendes’ hot breaths can be felt on the Vixen’s chest whenever the champ crowds in close, packs leather into her arms in a bid for tummy flesh, and Fox at one point is again stunned as Mendes finds her tattoo-ed ribs along her left curves and repeatedly targets it, growling with malice as she hammers her fists in. But Fox stays alive this time, partially by controlling the aggressive Mendes with underhooks, partially by using her significant height to keep herself from being pressed into the ropes. But by the time the bell rings, it’s also clear that Mendes is fast running out of breath, eating a shot to the chin as Megan begins battling back.

ROUND 7:
Still, it’s one hell of an uphill battle from a pair of lovely brunettes who BOTH want the title belt. Mendes tries to impose her will upon the older woman in the first minute but is surprised instead when Fox suddenly springs punches straight into her face, nailing her with a one-two combo to the nose and lips before Camila manages to dip low again and take a swing at her body. Fox, however, having anticipated the attack at this point in the fight, immediately blocks the hook and responds with a snap hook across Mendes’ face in rapid fashion, drawing an urrkk! and grunt from the champ’s lips. Fox fans are on the edge of their seats as the Vixen presses in for payback, landing more ringin’ shots off the top of Camila’s head, driving the stars from her noggin’ as Camila goes reeling for a couple of seconds but somehow manages to keep herself afloat. Fox is already head-hunting after her with more combos that slam into her arms, and for now, Mendes is the one grunting as she takes a couple of punches straight to her gut and chest, as Megan pushes the champ back to earn her comeback.

ROUND 8:
Camila is still growling away and charging at Fox, thinking that it’s about time the Vixen has run out of gas. Trouble is Mendes is also caught in between breathing hard and catching her own, a solid defence warding off some of Megan’s jab combos but making her own offensive moves slow and sluggish by comparison. Fox is just landing with cleaner, crisper handiwork, earning another grunt from Mendes’ lips when she shoves her glove into her cherry-chapstick. It’s Camila’s turn to be in trouble if she doesn’t turn the tables, and fast, especially when her head gets tossed to the side by another of Megan’s hooks sailing into the side of her arms with considerable power. Mendes finds herself trapped against the ropes in kind, groaning and heaving as Fox blasts her from a distance with cross after cross after cross driven into her body and lips, till a third such blow catches her clean on the chin, scrunching up the lower half of her face and sending the champ STUMBLING back! This might be it?! Fox continues to pound on the face till Mendes loses all of her senses and COLLAPSES down to her side, her face looking scarred and head swimming! It’s a return KNOCKDOWN for Megan Fox! Eye for an eye indeed as Mendes is busy catching her breath, trying to prop her upper body up with both arms, whereas Fox is already teetering back to her corner to try and catch her breath for the final push, if need be. Mendes definitely ain’t giving up either, slowly making her way back up from all fours to shaky legs by the count of 8, and this fight is set to continue!

ROUND 9:
Girls scored a knockdown a piece and STILL they’re coming at each other looking for more! Fox and Camila bandy shots from afar at first but then quickly wading in to dish out more punishment to the torso, though Mendes is not getting the hint that Megan’s low guard isn’t about to break anytime soon. Instead, Fox is the one busy burying short and snappy punches into the champion’s sides and ribs, drawing a loud grunt of pain from Mendes when her own tattoo-ed side profile gets lathered with leather, then another stiff thump! to the stomach folds her over in half and drives the air from her lungs. Mendes, however, gritting her teeth and refusing to go down, rocks the Vixen as she came in for the too-early kill, sending Megan’s face to the side in an awkward lunge for the throat that doesn’t materialise. Ladies GO AT IT for the better part of the final minute, keeping their heads hidden or low whilst chugging away at each other’s body, chest and arms. And by the sound of the bell, it’s hard to tell who really took the round overall, though our money is on the current champion.

ROUND 10:
Both ladies’ sides must be aching at this point in the fight as they reach the final lap and see the light at the end of the referee’s arm. Camila wants to dig deep and do one more rush at the challenger to put her away for good, immediately scooting towards Megan at the sound of the bell, one of her arms already pulled back in the beginnings of a superwoman punch. But the rest of Camila’s body isn’t cooperating, and no matter how hard she wills it, she just ain’t as fast as she used to be. Fox is the first to catch her opponent on the face with short, snappy jabs sent straight to the nostrils, earning wide looks of shock as Mendes’ head gets shoved backwards repeatedly. STILL, Mendes is pushing herself forward, head swinging about groggily, dangerously, but her stubbornness at refusing to quit means she’s opening herself up to potential clapback. And true enough, Fox is able to side-step the raging, charging brunette or take one of her swings easily on the guard. Then, Camila lets out a shout of pain as she’s forced to eat leather: once stuffed into her lips, another time buried into her stomach after Megan steps in and lands that uppercut right under her flailing arms. AND MENDES IS IN TROUBLE, looking glassy-eyed and hella unsure of herself as she goes stumbling backwards! FOX SAILS IN AFTER HER, in a hail of flying punches to the face, which AGAIN send the champ off kilter, and MENDES COLLAPSES DOWN TO HER SIDE for the second time in this fight, and right at the tail end of the tenth as well! THIS REALLY COULD BE IT!?! Mendes groans out loud as she attempts to turn herself off her butt and onto all fours, but her mouth is hanging open, one arm keeps returning to her face, which must be throbbing in all shades and colours of pain! Mendes attempts to use the ropes to pull herself off the ground and her legs upright, but it’s just too much punishment, too fast, and she FALLS back down just as the referee hits the count of 10!! Good, sweet lord - it’s OVER in KO10 fashion!!

Official Decision: Megan Fox defeats Camila Mendes via KO10! Megan Fox is the NEW Unified Flyweight Champion!

AFTER:
That’s it, ladies and gentlemen! Fox is your new champion, having begun her second title run at the tender age of 35! Immediately at the sight of the referee waving his arms rapidly overhead, the celebrated actress breaks down in tears of joy, falling to her knees before bouncing back up and RUNNING to her corner, her arms spread wide in disbelief!!

Here, everyone thought that there was NO way Mendes would have dropped her title chops in such a short span of time, but here we are, the poor lady having fallen to another just eight years her senior! Mendes is still hanging her head off the middle section of the ropes, the rest of her arms and legs moving slightly as her team orders the medics into the ring to check on her status.

Somewhere out there, ex-champion Olivia Holt must be both seething and smirking, first having dropped the title belt to her stablemate Mendes but also taking great comfort in knowing she’s already taken the entire Flyweight roster of the Vixens out to dumpsville. Of course, that doesn’t do anything to comfort Mendes, who has to be escorted from the ring in near-tears, having entered the arena an hour ago with the belt strapped firmly around her waistline.
