Michelle Ryan versus Cassidy Freeman

Intro:
Two possible challengers for the welterweight title meet up to wage
war for the first time in their careers, Michelle Ryan and Cassidy
Freeman do battle tonight.
Michelle is 33 years old, stands at 5'7 and holds a record of 18 wins,
15 by knockout and 15 defeats in her career.
Cassidy meanwhile is 35 years old, stands at 5'8 and holds her own
record of 22 wins, 18 by knockout, 14 defeats and only 1 draw, she is
a former FCBA welterweight champion.
When both met at the press conference for the PPV, neither looked to
have a lack of confidence, they squared right up to each other with a
big grin on their face.
Both strolled to their tables after the face off without a care in the
world it seemed, Michelle getting the chance to speak first.
"I have to say Cassidy, I honestly thought you'd retired, I mean you
seemed to disappear; then you beat Prejean, I mean seriously who
hasn't" winking as she says that.
"You win another fight and now I guess I have to get my crusaders
helmet back out, I mean I am the old dragon slayer around here,
Henstridge, Theron, hell Lancaster, those past their best who should
be retired fall at my feet, so don't be too worried, you'll have some
company when I'm done" says Michelle with real spite in each word.
Cassidy looks hard at her opponent, saying "I knew I'd worked you out
when your stable asked for this fight, you have never done anything in
your career and instead of being honest and admitting you're a
failure, you blame us successful girls for being too good"
Michelle now scowls, her cocky smile gone as Cassidy adds "I mean I am
a former champion, I've fought the best year after year and while I
have my enemies, I respect even them, you? Nope!"
The girls give each other a deathly stare as the sea of journalists
watch on in wonder, the girls soon ushered up for the final face off,
telling each other that they'll be at the others feet after the fight,
before marching off the stage.
Fight night, out comes Michelle first with Taryn Terrell and Eva
Carneiro by her side, she has a scowl already on her face as she heads
to the ring.
She's wearing a light blue bikini top, matching coloured tight workout
shorts and gloves, her brunette hair is braided.
Climbing into the ring, she gets her usual mixed response, something
as always she doesn't care about, especially as she's all business
tonight as she heads to her corner.
Now out comes Cassidy with Claudia Schiffer by her side, the two look
to be discussing tactics as they look into the ring, then back to each
other.
Cassidy is wearing a black bikini top, black workout shorts with a red
waistband and red gloves to match her flame red locks that are
braided.
Climbing into the ring, she gets a much better reception from the
crowd, it's clear who they are pulling for as She bows to each side of
the arena to show her thanks for the loud cheer.
Soon it's down to business as the fighters are brought to the ring
centre, no words this time being exchanged, just a hard stare down as
they try to rent space in the others head.
Asked to touch gloves, there's a quick swipe that shows there will not
be much love lost between these tonight, after they jog back to their
corners, the bell is rung to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.
Round 1:
Out come the girls straight at each other with several jabs and
straight punches testing the others defences, finding the others
cheeks in the early going.
Cassidy landing the better punches in the early part of the round,
that slight height advantage allowing her to move back and then
counter with the better punches.
But Michelle allows Cassidy to come forwards, slipping around a
straight punch to land her own right across the cheek of the red head,
she snarls "I'm going to cut that ugly face of yours up bytch"
Starting to drive Cassidy back as the older fighter takes a flurry of
four punches onto her gloves as she protects herself, Michelle keeping
the pressure on, till Freeman parries a right and comes forwards.
Both girls start trading in tight, digging away to the others body and
cheeks as they look to really hurt the other, Cassidy takes another
hard right to the top of her head though as Michelle looks to step up
a gear.
The Brit landing a straight punch to the nose of Freeman, knocking her
towards a corner, only Cassidy's footwork saves her from being stuck
in the corner as she escapes into space.
Michelle though trying her best to keep the pressure on, stalks her
back with jabs and straight punches of her own, Cassidy can be seen
gritting her gumshield in frustration.
That's till near the end of the round, when she slips under a left
cross, digging three shots to the abs of Ryan, who winces and pushes
her back with her left.
The bell rings before both jumped back into the action, Cassidy
smirking as she heads back to her corner, while Michelle won the
round; she stares a hole through Cassidy as she can't work out why the
redhead doesn't look worried after that round.
Round 2:
Cassidy shows why she wasn't too bothered at the end of the last
round, she tightens her guard to allow Michelle to come forwards, the
brunette slamming her punches off the forearms of the redhead, while
up on her toes.
Studying the movements of her opponent, Cassidy times her attacks,
parrying a straight to allow her to step in with a right hook to the
side of Michelle's face.
Michelle stumbles back a few steps, with Cassidy coming onto her to
press her back to the ropes, only her footwork saves her from that
fate like Cassidy's did in the first round.
Gritting her gumshield, Michelle comes back at Cassidy with a double
jab, but misses with a right cross as the redhead ducks underneath and
comes back with an overhand right that turns Michelle's head to the
side.
Cassidy pounding Michelle onto the ropes, the English girl covering up
till she takes a hard right to her side, that wakes her up to fight
back.
Both girls going hammer and tongs style as they just smack the other
across the face, a right mashes the lips of Michelle, some blood
trickling down onto her chin shows the extent of the damage.
Michelle forced to clinch up with Cassidy whispering to her "I thought
you'd cut me up right, first blood to me" as she smirks once more.
The referee needed to pull the girls apart before he let's them back
at each other, Cassidy starting to stalk Michelle back, both landing
good straight punches to the others face, but Cassidy seems to have
her sights trained on those bloody lips.
The bell rings to end the round with Cassidy continuing to smirk,
annoying Michelle who scowls at her with unbridled hate.
Back in her corner; Eva has to patch those lips up as Taryn tells
Michelle "come on! You can do better then this!" As she tries to fire
her up, all Michelle can do though is stare daggers at Cassidy, who
winks at her in reply.
Round 3:
Michelle tries to take the fight back to Cassidy, who again let's her
come forwards, covering up as she let's her arms take the punishment.
Before ducking under a hard right hook, coming up to land an overhand
right to turn Michelle's head around, then starts driving her back
with punches into her face.
Michelle driven onto the ropes, covering up as Cassidy really starts
to dig her fists into the sides of the English fighter, gasps coming
from Ryan as sweat is being knocked off her body.
But she starts fighting back, catching Freeman on her nose with a hard
straight forces the older fighter to step back into space.
Michelle comes out and straight at Cassidy, leading to both trading
hard shots as they stand toe to toe, Cassidy though shows she is the
harder hitter as she knocks Ryan's head around.
Frustrated, Michelle retreats with her face curled up into a mask of
hate, Cassidy looking to keep the pressure on her, digs long shots
into the abs of the younger fighter to herd her back.
But Michelle parries a straight coming towards her face to land a
right cross up top and a left to the cheek of Freeman, before another
punch lands straight between the gloves of Cassidy.

referee just about holding Ryan back from throwing a punch in
retaliation as Cassidy has her famous cocky look on her face, she

Claudia in Freeman's corner grins, praising her fighter as she comes
back, with mostly having to just wash the sweat off the body of the
redheaded vixen.
Taryn though reads the riot act to Michelle, "for f*** sake! Did Kloss
knock your skill out of you because this is embarrassing for you!" Eva
cleaning up Michelle's lips looks sorry for her, maybe thinking Taryn
is being too harsh with her.
Round 4:
Michelle seems to have a fire lit inside her as she is straight into
the face of Cassidy, both girls trading hard punches, but Freeman is
stunned by the viciousness of her opponent.
Cassidy has to cover up as Michelle hammers away at her guard, the
redhead being pressed onto the ropes, the brunette turning her punches
to the sides of the body of the redhead.
The Smallville star nudges Michelle back with her left, getting
herself off the ropes, moving around the ring as Michelle tries to get
back in tight.
Michelle missing with her punches, but keeping Cassidy on the back
foot as Freeman can't find a way to get out from behind her guard.
A jab snaps on to the guard of Cassidy, before a right goes around it
to the cheek, then a left to the ribs of Cassidy starts to open her
guard up.
But it looks like Cassidy is done being stuck on the back foot, as she
comes forwards with real venom in her punches, both girls slugging it
out in tight, nearly bumping bodies as they go head to head.
Cassidy knocks Michelle back with an uppercut onto her back foot,
Michelle forced to cover up as he lips take another pounding.
Late in the round, Michelle parries a right and steps forwards to land
two punches across the cheeks of Cassidy, but a straight to her face
stops her drive forwards just before the bell rings.
Michelle looks up to the ceiling, she can't find an answer to this
enigma, Cassidy continuing to smirk, though she knows she can't let
Michelle come at her like that again.
Round 5:
Michelle tries to get back into the face of Cassidy, but the older
fighter isn't going to get caught out so easily twice in a row.
Cassidy countering Michelle with digging punches into the face of the
brunette, starting to open a cut on the nose of Ryan to make things
worse.
Michelle lands a hard right to the cheek of Cassidy, trying to force
her back as the girls work in tight, bodies taking a beating.
Till Cassidy slips an uppercut between them to the chin of Michelle,
whose head goes backwards and she looks stunned as she is beaten back
onto the ropes.
Michelle needing to clinch up, forcing the referee to get between them
as they grapple on the ropes, pulled apart; Michelle moves into space
with her guard up as best she can.
Cassidy digs a straight at that guard, then slams a left into the side
of Michelle, who tries to fire back with two punches that miss as the
redhead steps back out the way.
The Brit is looking worried as Cassidy is picking her apart, not
rushing to put her down, almost surgeon like with her precision at
hitting her.
The round ends with Cassidy looking at the blood on her gloves from
the face of Michelle, smirking as she turns to stare at her opponent.
Michelle has her head down as she returns to her corner, she is
looking a real mess as blood drips from her lips and nose onto her
jugs, Eva having a hard time to patch her up, Taryn just silently
staring at her.
In the other corner, Claudia massages her fighters arms and legs,
keeping her loose as she has a few marks on her face, but looks much
healthier then her opponent.
Round 6:
Michelle comes out defensively, trying to catch Cassidy with something
to hurt her, instead her opponent just hunts her down around the ring,
almost gleeful in picking her off with her punches.
A missed desperate right from Michelle opens her up to a hard right to
her body, she gasps out in pain and her hands drop.
Cassidy lands a follow up right hook up top to turn Michelle's to
jelly, a follow up right puts Michelle down to her side in a heap.
The referee begins to count out Michelle, who groans to show she isn't
out cold but the referee reaches 10 to count her out!
Winner: Cassidy Freeman KO Round 6
After:
What a dominant performance! The crowd chanting Cassidy's name as she
struts around the ring, her arms up in the air as Taryn and Eva rush
into the ring to check on Michelle.
Cassidy hugs Claudia as they turn and stare at the sight of their
opponent and her crew, a big smile crossing their faces as they look
at the ruined Michelle, joking to each other about how Cassidy is
supposedly an old dragon.
Michelle is helped up to stand, but Cassidy comes over her her gloves
taken off by Claudia, she pushes Taryn out the way and glares at Eva
to leave her rival to her.
"You called me old, that I should retire, oh Michelle; I think you
should take this beating as a hint that you will never be in my class"
says Cassidy with a mocking tone.
Then Cassidy walks Michelle, wanting the pundits and crowd to see the
different between the girls, Michelle a complete wreck, while Cassidy
looks ready to go 10 rounds with anyone in the world right now.
After she completes the walk, she tosses Michelle into the arms of
Taryn, saying to her "you tell your Hilary (Rhoda) that if she manages
to keep that title tonight, then I expect to be hearing a call from
her soon, take this as my friendly warning" as she points at Ryan.
Taryn scowls, but doesn't say anything; just taking Michelle with
Eva's help, the Girls Friday girls looking understandably upset at the
situation.
The Lioness girls don't care, they bow to each side of the ring, with
Claudia telling the crowd "this is the best welterweight in the
world!"
Cassidy laughing and waving to the crowd as she leaves the ring, with
a performance like this over a top 20 talent, it has to be said that
she certainly is in the running for a title shot in future.
