The Man In The Hat sits, as usual, at the center of the dais. To his left are Chloe Bennet, Lili Reinhart, Ariel Winter, Britney Spears, Neve Campbell, Pink, Grace Park, and Katy Perry. To his right sit Sophie Mudd, Meg Donnelly, Cristy Ren, Anna Torv, Gemma Arterton, Leelee Sobieski, Kat Dennings, and Jewel.
Man In The Hat: "OK. As usual, before we get to questions, there are some people I want to thank. Let's start with Carnation Creations for giving us the opportunity to bring Paige Spiranac in here and, of course, to fight for the JMD title. Foxfire Boxing. We thank them for agreeing to allow Laura and Hayden to join us tonight for some great fights, Also, thanks to our indie fighters, who, again, made this a great event. And, of course, we can't forget the FCBA Commission for sanctioning these fights and making Asylum possible. Now. Questions. Cable Boy. Go!"
HBO Reporter: "Let's start at light. Only one of your bigs in action tonight, and Cristy came up with another win..."
Man In The Hat: "Well, as we've said, Cristy has all the tools to be competitive at light, welter, on the beach, and at JMDD. She's improvin' every time out. WE liked what we saw tonight. We like what we see in the gym every day. We're very excited to see what's next for her. Cable Boy II. Go!"
Showtime Reporter: "Let's talk about your top two bantams, Bennet and Reinhart..."
Man In The Hat (smiling): "I could talk about 'em all day! Chloe and Lili, they're as good as it gets below 120. Nobody they can't beat. They've both been champions. Both in their primes. Both capable of bein' the first Front Streeter ever to win a second title. All the younger girls around here, all they have to do is watch Chloe and Lili if they wanna know what it takes to win in the FCBA. And, believe me, that's EXACTLY what they do. Tess, dear, go ahead."
Tess: "You got two wins at flyweight, Meg in a traditional fight, Ariel on the beach..."
Man In The Hat: "Meg continues to do very well for us. That's a stacked flyweight division we have around here, but she hasn't gotten lost in it. Ariel, disappointed that she didn't cash that flyweight title shot, but she's come back strong with two impressive wins. Got Hayden, a top-level fly, out on the beach tonight and came up big. We're very happy to be in the Ariel Winter business. Now, Smackeroo. Dinner time! Take us there!"
Reporter: "I'm just going to point out that, prior to 2022, Front Street almost never competed at JMD/D and never went after the JMD/D titles. And, in 2023, you've won them both..."
Man In The Hat (smiling): "Well, Front Street hasn't won ANYTHING. Tonight, SOPHIE MUDD won the JMD titles. And, I'll tell you, I was plenty impressed. Kid stumbled not that long ago against Duff, and that's the kind of thing can set you back. Sophie didn't LET it. She came right back, beat a solid fighter in Vismara, and then cashed this opportunity tonight against Spiranac. I'm VERY impressed with Sophie, both at JMD and in traditional bantamweight fights...and, heck, on the beach, too. Wasn't that long ago there was talk about how we were gonna release this kid. I called nonsense then, because we were convinced Ms. Mudd had a bright future at Front Street. Now. That ain't to say we've never been wrong before..."
(Laughter)
Man In The Hat: "But. We weren't wrong about Sophie. We absolutely were NOT. Now. Dinner time! Tess! Smackey! Limo!"
