BEFORE:
"Obviously, Lili's a champion," Ashley admits. "So, there's no taking her lightly. But, I'm as good as any bantam on the planet, especially on the sand. So, let's DO this!"
"Ashley's a girl with plenty of talent," the blonde says with a nod. "The problem is, tonight she's in with the best bantam in the world, and that won't go well for her."
ROUND ONE:
O'Dell: "Back at ringside and the four-sided giant screen lowered over the arena, which means Asylum Beach, with plenty of patio heaters and fire pits functioning, is about to get some use. And, that's 'Ain't It Fun' by Paramore you hear, and walking across the sand is the lovely Ashley Greene!"
McCarthy: "Girl HAS FCBA wins, a rarity around HERE..."
Tess: "And, one of them was against YOU..."
McCarthy: "That's not true! Greene never beat me!"
Cassie: "'Fourth of July Fireworks on the Beach' card. 2019. Ashley Greene defeated Jenny McCarthy by KO6..."
McCarthy: "You are MAKING THINGS UP NOW!"
O'Dell (sighing): "IF we can pay attention to the action on the beach. Ashley stepping through the ropes, helped off with the robe to reveal that black number we've seen before, and the crowd showing PLENTY of appreciation..."
McCarthy: "She could NEVER have beaten ME on the beach! At the disrobe she'd have run away and hidden in a cabanyon..."
Tess: "In a what now?"
McCarthy: "A CABANYON! Haven't you ever been on a beach before, Walmart?"
Tess: "Sure have. Never been BABIFIED by Ashley Greene on one, though..."
McCarthy: "I haven't EITHER! Stop saying that! SHUT UP, WALMART!"
O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, and then listen up to 'What I've Done' by Linkin Park. And, if you're hearing that, it can only mean that former bantamweight champion, 'Diamond' Lili Reinhart is stepping onto the sand..."
Cassie: "Tess, you were talking about how crowded with talent bantam is around here, and Lili's right at the front of the crowd..."
Tess: "Definitely is, BFF..."
O'Dell: "Reinhart through the ropes and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and she's getting quite the pop for that white number she likes. And, the ladies are about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Lili. Mac?"
McCarthy: "Greene can't beat ME, but she CAN beat a Dancing Hooker! Ashley!"
O'Dell: "Cassie?"
Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"
O'Dell: "First split panel of the night. Let's see who's right. Greene looking to make Mac look good early. She's stepping right to Lili and backing the blonde up with some hard shot to head and body. Reinhart backing and covering early here as the brunette's gotten going quickly..."
McCarthy: "Greene has a lot more experience on the sand than Reinhart does and you can see it."
O'Dell: "Absolutely can. Ashley looking very comfortable on the sand, Lili a lot less so. How much of that is the surface and how much is the excellent work being done by the brunette is anyone's guess, but I suspect each has a hand in what's been a very good round for Greene."
Tess: "She's definitely taking the fight to Lili..."
O'Dell: "We're coming down the stretch in the first, and Ashley's had it almost all her way. Reinhart scoring here and there in counter, but that's about all the blonde has managed. Final seconds tick away and there's the bell, and there's no question Ashley gets the points wide to lead 10-9."
ROUND TWO:
O'Dell: "Reinhart moving better now as we start the second, getting her footing her, literally and figuratively. Greene still playing offense, though. She's getting off quickly, though she's not coming forward as much in this stanza as she did in the last. Instead, we're mostly boxing at range..."
Cassie: "And, you'd have to like Lili on those terms."
O'Dell: "You would, though at the moment, Ashley is more than just holding her own. She's getting the better of it, just like in the last round, though it's far closer this time around. SHARP exchange there and then another. Both sand AND sweat flying during that last exchange..."
McCarthy: "This Greene kid just needs to keep after her..."
O'Dell: "She's certainly doing that, at least for the moment. ANOTHER sharp trade and that time Lili backed Ashley up a bit, but Greene stepping right back forward. Five seconds to go in this one. Nice right hand from Greene and there's the bell. Close this time, but Greene again."
Tess: "And, Ashley leads 20-18."
ROUND THREE:
O'Dell: "Back in action on the beach. Ladies working at range, both putting together punches and Reinhart backs up Greene with a good right hand. Lili coming forward behind the left all of a sudden, backing Ashley across the sand. That quickly, the former champion has put the brunette on the defensive..."
Tess: "Reinhart can do that to you..."
O'Dell: "And, she's doing it to Greene right now. That quickly, the blonde has taken control of the round. She's landing solid shot to both head and body and a GOOD right there got Ashley's attention. Greene tying up now, trying to slow this down a bit, because Lili's got it going..."
McCarthy: "Just ride this one out and you'll still be in the lead..."
O'Dell: "Easier said than done for Greene right now. Reinhart just getting a TON of work done. Ashley's not hurt, but she's getting touched up in a MAJOR way as the final seconds tick away here in the third. ANOTHER good right hand from Lili and there's the bell. Reinhart. Wide."
Cassie: "And Lili cuts Greene's lead to 29-28."
ROUND FOUR:
O'Dell: "Reinhart picking up right where she left off here. She's taking to that sand like a duck to water, coming forward behind the jab, lining the brunette up and letting her have it with hard shot to the head and body. Lili digging a bit more to the midsection this round, Mac..."
McCarthy: "And that clueless ref needs to watch for low blows!"
O'Dell: "I'm sure he'll notice if there is one. Right now, though, Reinhart landing PLENTY of blows to legal areas of Greene's head and body. Ashley managing to bang back in spots, but that's all she can do. Lili's in control, just like she has been since the beginning of the last round..."
Cassie: "Greene doing well to stay off the ropes here."
O'Dell: "Sure is, because Lili is consistently backing her across the sand. It's all forward motion for the former champion who lands a NICE right hand as the timer ticks down to ten seconds to go in the round. Ashley tying up. Ref breaks the ladies apart and there's the bell. Reinhart wide again."
Tess: "And, we're even at 38."
ROUND FIVE:
O'Dell: "Reinhart pushing forward. She's grabbed control of this thing, and she has no intention of giving it up. Greene trying to effect a fighting retreat here. She can't hold her, well, sand in this case, because Lili is taking as much of it as she wants. Ashley a good right hand counter there..."
McCarthy: "Just wait for Weirdo's Dancing Hooker to get sloppy and you'll get her!"
O'Dell: "Might be waiting a long time for that against a girl like Reinhart. SOLID right from Lili there, backs Greene up another step and THERE'S AN OVERHAND RIGHT AND DOWN GOES ASHLEY! An absolutely BOOMING right hand from the blonde leaves the brunette lying on her back in the sand..."
Tess: "And, that might do it..."
O'Dell: "Lili to a neutral corner. Ashley flat on her back, eyes closed. Ref counting down on her. Three. Four. Five. No movement at ALL from the brunette. Six. Seven. This is academic at this point. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Greene is both down AND out and it's OVER and your winner by KO5 is 'Diamond' Lili Reinhart!"
Cassie: "That was quite a right hand..."
AFTER:
O'Dell: "Let's go across the street to Cassie Scerbo!"
Cassie: "I have our winner, Lili Reinhart, and, Lili, little bit of a slow start on the sand..."
Lili (nodding): "Yeah. She's really experienced there, and I'm not. So, I've got to work harder on that, since I plan to be doing my share of work on the beach. Eventually, I got comfortable, though."
Cassie: "And, when you did, you took over..."
Lili (nodding): "Look, she's a very good fighter as everyone knows. But, I've said this before and I'll say it again. The very best bantam in the world was in there with her tonight. The very best."
