BEFORE: Queenie Sia might have stolen Michelle Tan's glamour crown last year but the fitness beauty vows to retain her status as the #1 Girl in Town going off script by facing Japanese gravure model Yoko Matsugane in the Singapore Indoor Stadium tonight. Queenie's entourage has apparently shot down the value of this contest by posting not-so-cryptic tweets about "second rate wannabees" and "pure desperation" but Michelle is convinced she knows what she's doing after all.

Meanwhile Yoko arrives in Singapore full of confidence despite a rough loss to Vivian Hsieh in her last outing: "I was told Michelle is the real draw around here. They have several of these gym freaks but half of them are unworthy to even share the same ring with me. I'm all in to see if they really mean business or not! I hope they have some Pacific Islands interim title ready for me when I beat her up?" (winks).

Michelle Tan wears a navy blue crop top, matching hotpants & silver gloves. Long dyed blonde hair tied in a high ponytail. Yoko Matsugane wears a white bikini set & black gloves. Long black hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Yoko storms out of her stool and tries to upstage the local favorite with a speedy slugging deliver that finds the target and whacks Michelle across her mouth before the buxom model follows through with a quick hooking double as well. Michelle is stunned by the early attack and fails to produce a meaningful response while the older brunette settles down to punch her to the body thereafter. Yoko works the piston leverage to drop Tan onto the ropes and the local favorite lacks mobility to escape the heat so she has to accept the phone booth script while the crowd tries to fuel her comeback. However Matsugane stays on top of the aggressive drill and pummels Michelle's abs into visible swelling as she runs riot for remainder of the round and barks in delight when the ref pulls her away at the bell.

Round 2:
Michelle moves much faster across the boards to start the second and sticks several good punches into Yoko's face but still has to embrace the phone booth stance as the gravure model pummels her way into contention. She tries to punish Tan's breasts and digs a stray elbow in the area before Michelle smacks her over the top and works a high-octane overhand blast to stuff Matsugane on the spot. More hard licks crash into the older brunette's face and she wobbles off her aggressive stance before Tan drops her onto the ropes with a steady uppercut assault that tags the superior rack. Yoko is used to this experience but Tan's work rate still proves too much and allows the local favorite to even the scores after two.

Round 3:
Yoko keeps coming forward and drops more single punches into Michelle's face before trying to make more progress in classic JMD tactics. Michelle blocks off the initial attack but still gets stuffed in the breadbasket as the older brunette blows another wild elbow on the boobs and wobbles the Singaporean onto her heels. Tan spins out of more trouble at the last moment but spends majority of the round weaving away in retreat before she mounts a late counter-punching effort when Matsugane tracks her into the corner after all. Both women dish out some heavy head-hunting juice and Michelle has the last laugh when she tears a small gash under Yoko's left eye which triggers a lenghty verbal tirade from the Japanese model once the bell halts the action. Ugh! She is really upset here which makes the Singapore crowd even more animated as we head into the fourth.

Round 4:
Yoko on the pounce; she smacks Michelle on both temples but fails to shake her off and misfires with another looping lunge so the younger brunette slams a quick uppercut drive on the chest and punishes the model's impressive rack to the point Matsugane slumps into sudden spasms. Ugh! She still tries to belt Michelle in the guts but skims off the hip instead and gets whacked with more uppercuts that bounce off her boobs and carry into her chin. Uh-oh! Yoko stumbles to the side and lowers her mitts low enough for Michelle to SMOKE her on the nose with a powerful haymaker. Yoko tweaks to the side and has a hard time keeping her balance while Tan steps into a monster left hook that DRILLS the statesque opponent on the mouth and sends the gumshield flying out!!! Oh, my! There goes Matsugane CRASHING DOWN ON HER KNEES and she slumps down on the canvas in spread eagle fashion while the Singapore audience errupts in joy!!! Michelle shouts at the Front Street Japan corner before turning away however there is nothing that can save the fallen gravure model anymore as the referee counts her out in merciless fashion moments later! KO4 Michelle Tan!!!

AFTER: Huge victory for the local favorite who claims it's too early to crown Queenie Sia or Jade Rasif as the top national heroines just yet: "I've got my own plans to follow and settling for a bronze medal ain't good enough! My next opponent is a true global star name and I'm sooo excited for that one! I'm ready for international stardom while these gravure models can go back to foxy boxing!" (laughs).
