Jennifer Connelly addresses the media pundits: Hey folks. Not a happy announcement this time I'm afraid. I was getting used to my public appearances being to praise my fantastic fighters. Unfortunately, today is a rough one. In December, Rachael Leigh Cook suffered some troubling concussion symptoms following her fight with Lookout! Boxing's Jenna Louise Coleman. We did not disclose the injury at the time since these symptoms are generally not uncommon in this league. However, Rachael's symptoms persisted longer than usual, and over the course of January, actually increased, causing Rachael to pull out of her January PPV bout set against Hayden Panettiere. The situation we have arrived at this past week is a troubling and unfortunate one, but we have been forced to sideline Rachael, who is as of now unsure of her future in this league. It saddens us to have such a fantastic fighter and stablemate cut down in what is really her prime. With her bout against Jenna her only loss since signing with ABC we had high hopes for Rach, as we know she did for herself. We hope that she is able to make a full recovery and step into the ring one day, but as of now she is officially taking some time to recover and focus on her health. Hillarie Burton, our scouting director, will be along any day now with an announcement I'm sure as she seeks to fill the void and the giant shoes Rach has left behind, but for now, we would just like to wish Rachael all the best, and thank her for the wonderful contributions she has made to our stable. If this is it for you in the ring Rach, the whole league is going to miss you.

If this is it for you in the ring Rach, the whole league is going to miss you. Of course, it's always troubling whenever anybody suffers an injury in the ring and the goal of any of our fights is never to cause an opponent permanent harm. I know I hit hard, but I didn't intend to hit THAT hard. But, of course, the decision to take a fighter out of commission, for safety's sake, is always the right one. Taking some time off, whether on a temporary or permanent basis, is a smart call on her part. Rachael, this isn't something we can say very often about somebody from the Alpha Boxing Club and certainly not about Sophia, but you always carried yourself with class. Hopefully, whoever your roster brings in next will carry themselves with the same level of character, determination, toughness and spirit that you did. We wish you a very speedy recovery and I hope that ABC keeps you around, regardless of the next stage in your career, so that you can bring those same qualities to the rest of your stable and to the next generation of ABC - they could certainly use them! However, if that was your final fight here in the FCBA, at least you can rest easy knowing that you got retired by a legend - the one and only Jenna Louise Coleman. It's better to go out on a high note against one of the best in the league than suffering some loss to some mid-level fighter years from now. However, again, I do apologize for causing you any permanent damage - I'm just used to hitting Sophia because her head and jugs are so freaking hard! In all seriousness, we wish you the best and hope to see you continue around the league, either in the ring or in some fashion in the future! We don't agree with ABC on much, but we do agree with them on this: You will be missed. Who knows what ABC will do without you? Jenna Louise Coleman Lookout! Boxing

hey Jennifer, that's horrible news , we send our well wishes as a stable to Rachael as I know Ivana, Alessandra and Michelle really took a shine to her at Chriqui's birthday party just two months ago, the one a certain group of rats attacked at hmm Jenna? We didn't get a chance to work with Rachael but we hope she can recover and maybe we finally get that chance, though of course her health comes first.

Oh, there's a surprise, Jenna ColeMAN butting her nose in. You've done quite enough already chipmunk, thanks. I will say this - Rach appreciated your efforts to be respectful towards her. And I am glad that we can at least agree on that Rach is a classy, well respected gal, in and out of the ring, who will be leaving a big void in the league and stable. Pity you couldn't show that same respect pre, post or during your bout with her, huh? And don't you worry about this next generation of ABC stars. Daisy, Barbie, Bri, whoever Hillarie can find next... I'll take good care of them. Oh, and 'legend'? Gosh Jenna, your ego is almost as big as your ass. Thanks for trying to be respectful towards a fighter much classier than yourself. I know you actually, strangely, had good intent this time, in your own deluded little way.

Mel, thanks very much for the well-wishes. Rach really took a liking to your ladies as well. I have no doubt Rach will continue in some capacity in the league, whether in or out of the ring, or even in our stable or another. She is too involved in the FCBA to just go quietly into the night. She will want to be involved. And hopefully she gets a chance to show your girls a few things in the ring yet.

We're sorry to hear about Rachael's issues but we hope she recovers sooner rather than later. After all, she remains on Cheryl Cole's hit list for this season and it would be a shame if we couldn't make that fight happen

Thank you, Vassago. Obviously we too hope for the best for Rachael. I doubt she'll be in too much of a rush to return knowing now that Cheryl awaits her. We really appreciate the well-wishes.

Cheryl's got a busy schedule but she'll always find time to personally let Rachael know who's the superior woman
