I hope she bounces back to some contention but only after I knock her out tonight!", Minka Kelly plays both naughty & nice when asked to analyze her tonight's Celebrity Boxing After Dark opponent. Fellow Californian Hunter King is set to have a very busy month with another clash scheduled at the VIX PPV next Saturday but she's unfazed about being called an underdog against a future Hall of Famer: "Look here, Minka is on the wrong side of forty. No offense but she's backing into the Hall just like Kate Beckinsale did... wait, is Becks even in or still out? Nevermind, I have to win of these these big fights like my old manager said. Minkster and Alyssa Lynch on back-to-back weekend? Hell yeah, that's BIG even by California standards" (giggles).

Minka Kelly wears a leopard print bikini top, black hotpants & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Hunter King wears a light blue bikini set & silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Blonde feels to pressure to step up in an early charge and follows through with several crisp jabs but Minka drops her usual laid-back aproach and settles into a high-tempo overhand response that catches Hunter on the face and glues her to the spot upon impact. The southpaw brunette dissects the blonde's high-guard in surprisngly straight-forward fashion and sends her into a steady retreat once it becomes clear King is unable to find the answers. Minka bullies Hunter onto the ropes and rips additional leather on the exposed midriff which folds the younger woman into loud spasms and she can only clinch the southpaw brunette thereafter but Kelly still plugs more juice downstairs and leaves her opponent gasping for air at the bell.

Round 2:
Hunter blasts into a slugging assault and finally beats the older woman to a meaningful punch before clubbing Minka on the breasts as well. Both fighters clash heads shortly afterwards which throws the brunette off her stance and allows the younger actress to cash in with more body shots that makes Minka groan in pain. She tries to deke away from the close range heat but King loops a big hook on the left temple and bundles the briefly stunned foe onto the ropes where she keeps blasting her to the body - a full-time payback for the opening round struggle. Minka bounces off the blonde's forearms in response and barks in anger at the bell as the LA crowd chants Hunter's name loud & clear after two!

Round 3:
Maybe it's the crowd support on the blonde's side that makes Minka blink first and she jumps into a hectic jabbing pursuit totally against her usual game plan. It doesn't work one bit once King drops the hammer herself and assumes a superior slugging position when she nails the brunette on each temple before a booming right hook finds the nose and slumps Kelly onto her heels! Here comes Hunter! She blows into the brunette's guts and thumps her butt-in-ropes where she fends off the clinching attempts and pummels Minka's midsection into a mush! Uh-oh! She bangs away in fury and has the older actress weaving around on her feet but simply unable to send anything back before a right hand on the nose makes Kelly spill the red liquor just before the bell! Ugh! Hunter eyes that big win alright and has to be pulled back by the ref leaving Minka in all sorts of bother here!

Round 4:
The crowd can feel the breakthrough coming and Hunter just doesn't hold back at all; she comes flying into the brunette's face and dwarfs all her mobility through shear punching wrath during the opening minute. She thumps Minka all over the ring like she's never left the Asylum PPV and clobbers her onto the ropes where she plugs more shots into the tummy... Minka almost out on her legs and she just can't hang on any further CRASHING DOWN ON HER KNEES just before the two-minute mark. Hunter yells out in delight and pumps her right glove against the ample chest while teasing the crowd into even louder ovations! Minka makes a painful looking recovery at eight but wants none of that blonde's wrath for remainder of the round and simply wheels away from King's attacks who runs out of time to knock her out but feels very happy about herself as she totally dominated the last three rounds.

Round 5:
Minka has to find a Plan B and she tries to anticipate another slugging charge which she actually manages to accomplish as she leaves King bouncing off her high-guard in a fruitless pursuit. Both women lock horns in the phone booth where another clash of heads gives the brunette the edge and she clubs hard leather into the blonde's boobs to catch the hitherto dominant fighter off guard. Hunter still wants to swing it from the back foot but loses her precision and gets sucked into a gut-checking vacuum as Kelly rises above her issues and plugs more solid punches to drop King into coverage come the final stretch.

Round 6:
Hunter wants to regain that superior position and swings more leather over the top but she skims off the top of Minka's forehead and eats the biggest punch of the night as the southpaw NAILS her on the chin and drops onto jelly knees upon impact. Hunter rolls down the curtains but manages to stay on her feet onlty for Kelly to blow into her solar plexus with more venom and she thumps the stunned blonde onto the ropes where she charges ahead with more body blows to make King gurgle her heart out. The younger woman tries to clinch her foe but Minka digs an elbow into her chest and rips a brutal harpoon on the liver DROPPING HUNTER DOWN ONTO HER KNEES amid loud painful spasms. Uh-oh!!! Get in there!!! Minka has some fans around Los Angeles too and they take over the volume inside the stadium as Hunter is swiftly counted OUT while down on all fours. KO6 Minka Kelly in epic come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Disaster for the blonde who literally snatched defeat from jaws of victory. It's like she's plagued by the "can't win big fights after all and she's utterly distraught when the verdict is officially announced. She avoids eye contact with Minka who still winks at the Knockout Babes corner before turning back to coach Eva Mendes: "It seems like these girls really think I'm a low-hanging fruit these days? They will never learn. Oh, well. It's the story of my career, underestimated, never got the biggest draw I deserve but hey, just NINE more fights and I crack the one hundred! And then we'll have the party of a lifetime!"
