TESS VALMORE
ROUSEY/TATE. Rousey comes into this fight with a 4-2 record. Her wins were over average fighters and her losses were to Flair and Ferguson. She’s a five foot six inch welter. That might tell you something about her build. Tate’s has never had an official FCBA fight. She’s a little younger and a little taller. It won’t help her. Tate loses her first official FCBA fight and maybe her last.
KATIC/HARMON. Katic is unique. She is a 43 year old newbie. She made her debut in the last FNL card beating Cindy Sampson who was also 43 year old newbie, who may have had her last fight. Harmon is a 48 year old veteran of Thirty-five fights of which she has won twelve. In her last fight, last year, she failed to last three against Theron. She’s only had four fights in the last ten years.
Normally I would go with the veteran, but something tells me that Harmon isn’t going to win
BEER/KENDRICK Beer comes into this bout with a 8-4 career record. Her wins have been against average to below average opponents, but she is basically in the learning stage. She has lost to Lavigne twice, Maisie Williams and Iseman. Kendrick has lost eight of her last eleven. More importantly Beer is thirteen years younger and three inches taller. Beer will win
MAISIE WILLIAMS/MORETZ Williams seems to be somewhat unpredictable. She has lost six of her last ten, but four of her last five. She does have wins over Scerbo and Beer. Moretz has won seven of her last ten. Her losses were to Carter, Lavigne and Elyse Willems. This is another case of height. Moretz is three inches taller. She will win.
CHOPRA/M.KELLY Chopra has 20-17 record and has won six of her last ten against good competition. Minka Kelly is destined for the Hall of Fame. She already has the required win ratio. All she needs is eleven more fights after this one. Kelly is forty years old, but Chopra is only two years younger. Chopra has a slight height advantage. It won’t help. Kelly by a KO
GOMEZ/LILLY Gomez has a 37-22 career record and has won seven of her last ten. Her losses were to Scodelario, Vanessa Hudgens and Elizabeth Olsen. Lilly is a member of the Hall Of Fame. She has a career record of 69-38 and is a seven time Unified Bantam champ. Now 41, she has lost 6 of her last ten and her last five. Gomez is thirteen years younger, but I don’t believe that will help her. Lilly wins
HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY/STRAHOVSKI. Both are in BWO’s top ten lightweight rankings with Yvonne at nine and Rosie at ten. Yvonne is a four time Unified Lightweight champion and a member of the Hall Of Fame. She has a 71-36 record. She is won five of her last ten with four of the losses being to top ten lightweights. Rosie has won seven of her last ten with her losses being to Winstead, Kendall Jenner and Ren. Rosie is slightly taller and five years younger. I don’t believe that is going to make much difference. I’m going to take a chance on Strahovski
