3. Kyra Santoro vs Samaria Regalado

BEFORE:
Poor Kyra indeed - rumours swirling that Samaria Regalado was yet another Bantamweight prospect who once had the potential to replace her on the VIX roster. Immediately, the animosity between the two big girls is palpable as they stare each other down on stage, eyes locked and fists raised too close to each other’s chins for comfort.
“I’m not sure what else I can do to prove my worth here. I’ve been winning consistent fights but yes, having some trouble cracking the top ten in the rankings. Samaria, kudos to her, has seen some action over in the BBU. But I’ll be damned if I’m gonna lose my spot to her again. First, it was Melia Kreiling who tried (and failed) to replace me. It’s not gonna happen tonight or any time in the future!”
Strong words from Kyra as she folds her arms across her chest at the press table. No matter what she says, of course, her own body language shows off her insecurity as she slumps back into her seat to await the inevitable. Samaria, on the other hand, has been receiving PLENTY of opportunities ever since she debuted over the Atlantic in the BBU Bantamweight tournament. She may not have come out on top back then, but she sure as hell turned some heads. Her confidence has definitely increased with her recent signing with Glamour Boxing Academy - just the newest stable to debut over in the BBU.
“Santoro’s good, but she ain’t great. I’ll give her credit for working hard and not quitting these past few years, but c’mon… at some point, she needs to acknowledge that she’s never gonna crack the ceiling. I hear she wants to win a title one day? HA. I think she should pack her bags and call it a night.”
Chests shoved into each other back in the ring as both beauties get physical, and the referee has to intervene to herd them back to corners. Kyra’s wearing an amber bikini, her brown hair tied up and braided out back. Samaria, ever sensuous, is going for a one-piece emerald green swimsuit (as pictured) and black gloves, earning cat-calls from the assembled crowd.
Referee calls for the opening bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!
ROUND 1:
Kyra eager to test herself tonight as she plays the early aggressor, marching straight towards Samaria at the bell to start swinging. Samaria was expecting some degree of aggression but perhaps not this much, and this early, gasping out loud as her arms and torso get assaulted by Santoro’s big hooks, as the Vixen pours into her with no hesitation. Regalado, forced to cover up, barely has any chance to swing back as she focuses all her faculties on defending herself this early in the fight, and all Kyra has to trouble herself with are the occasional punt to the nose or big return whap! to the arms. Other than that, the Vixen’s making her opponent her personal punching bag as she powers another cross into Samaria’s body, then, whenever she gets close enough, digs more gloves into Samaria’s sides and arms, trying to bully her backwards into the ropes for an early knockdown, which thankfully doesn’t occur.
ROUND 2:
Samaria got a culture shock that last round but now knows a little better of what to expect. She controls Kyra’s attacks a little more cleanly this time, keeping her feet moving as she avoids and blocks with greater ease. Kyra’s still charging in and swinging and poking away, but she finds her attacks hitting the arms a little more often or missing entirely. Mid-round and Samaria’s taking control of this fight, powering her own shots clean into Kyra’s face and hurting the Vixen some. Kyra lets out more frustrated grunts as she discovers her foe’s own power and capabilities in there, forced to retreat when another wild hook just barely grazes against her chin, which stuns her on the spot. Before, Samaria was moving more like a sitting duck; now, she’s looking more and more confident as she powers into the lead, eager for blood.
ROUND 3:
Girls trade blow-for-blow in the center of the ring, their Bantamweight rivalry spilling over as they meet in the middle and immediately start throwing down! Loud grunts echoed in tandem as neither woman wants to relinquish her spot as the better fighter, Kyra first ramming a right hook to the cheek before she takes a stomping hook of her own across her face. Then, they go south to each other’s bodies and chest, competing to plant leather all over the breasts and belly as they knock some sense into each other. Unfortunately for Kyra, it’s Samaria who’s the hungrier fighter, growling as she picks up her first case of fight-rage, gritting her teeth as she plows through the pain and ROCKS Santoro with a wicked uppercut to the bottom of her chin amidst the exchange, which sends Kyra reeling backwards in shambles. Kyra’s only saved by the ropes as she clings onto the top for dear life, before reforming her guard just in time for Samaria to SLAM into her with more punches to her tummy and arms. Bell rings and the referee has to physically intervene, shoving Regalado back towards her corner as the relative newcomer makes a name for herself!
ROUND 4:
Bad news indeed for Santoro if she’s gonna continue getting manhandled like that. Here comes Samaria again, rushing the younger model with her fists up and ready to rip her foe apart. Santoro, however, keeps her cool and dodges and weaves, successfully avoiding those early shots aimed at her head, especially those uppercuts and hooks that are quickly tiring Samaria out instead. Santoro, even though she’s considered a big-bodied girl, has been doing this far longer and more efficiently, her fighting body honed for speed and power as she whips a tight hook back into Samaria’s face down the line, stunning her with a grunt. Before Regalado knows what’s happening, another one-two swipe gets delivered across her cheek, followed by a snap uppercut to the jawline, which stumbles Samaria backwards. Santoro calmly leaps forward, SMASHES a straight cross through the arms and into the face, which CLOTHESLINES the poor girl off her feet as she lands with a BLAM on her back!! SHOCKING KNOCKDOWN for the Vixen, and that seems to be it!! Samaria’s left squirming on her back, groaning with her eyes squeezed shut as the referee counts her out to ten! It’s OVER!

AFTER:
Samaria’s maiden debut spoiled tonight but perhaps it’s just bad timing for the sultry model, who had signed on the dotted line before she signed on the dotted line with her new stable. It may still be good news for Regalado, with the ink having already dried and no backsies now for her new management!
Santoro on the other hand proves once again why she’s in this game for the long haul, putting away a heavy-hitter and contender for her throne within four rounds. She still has to prove herself against other big names in the industry, but a win’s still a win in her book.
“I wish Samaria all the best in her future endeavors,” Santoro calmly says to reporters later, breathing hard. “One thing’s for sure though: her future ain’t gonna be with the Vixens. I saw to that fact tonight.”
