AHW: Post-Match Workout (feat. Alexis Ren and Eden Cohen)

Alexis Ren was busy bench-pressing when the cheers erupted from the VIX event hall. The recent scouting mission had just concluded but the veteran fighter and former Lightweight champ couldn’t have cared any less, entirely focused on her third tie-breaker Body Saddle match with Elizabeth Gillies that was coming up in a week’s time.
“What a waste of talent,” Ren mutters under her breath as she hoisted another set of barbells above her head.
“Aw. The girls ain’t hat bad. In fact, I think that Cohen girl’s got potential,” Steve says, smirking down from above.
“Don’t you dare...” Ren sputters, half from the weight of the bar-bells, half at Steve’s incendiary words. “Why add another Lightweight to the roster when you’ve already got someone as talented looking at ya?”
“Well, after Kelly and Georgia left the team…”
“Exactly,” Ren huffs, finally setting down the weights with a loud CLANG. “They couldn’t make it. In fact, I think even Nina might be the next to go…”
“Don’t be silly,” Steve replies. “You know if I had a choice, I would have kept all of you on the team. Especially Georgia.”
Ren smirks, sitting up from the bench in nothing but a black bra top and long red gym slacks. “You know deep down inside who you like the best, dun cha?” the Vixen says, cupping Steve’s chin with one hand then pulling him in for a smooch.
“Hey, now. You know Hannah might be watching…” Steve says, pulling away gently.
“f*ck Hannah,” Ren hisses, before planting her lips onto his for long, delicious second.
“Okay, enough. Be a good girl and give me another 20 reps,” Steve says, pulling himself away. “You need to work extra hard if you want to beat Elizabeth a second time.”
Alexis, giggling, lowers herself back down onto the bench and resumes her heavy lifting.
“Hey...” an unknown voice sounds off from the side, sweet and melodic.
Ren and Steve turn in unison to see none other than Eden Cohen standing by the entrance of the gym, fresh off her fight with Schlomit Riger and dressed in a pale pink hoodie crop top and white panties, looking like she’d just finished an intensive workout of her own.
“Am I interrupting?” Cohen asks, smiling sweetly. “I’m looking for Steve? He was supposed to show me around the gym.”
There’s a loud CLANG of metal as Ren makes her annoyance known, a scowl immediately forming.
“Hi, that’s me. I’m the Head Trainer around here.”
“Cohen. Very nice to meet you. And yes, I know who you are,” Eden flashes him a smile as she takes his hand gently.
“Hello?? Some spotting here would be nice??” Ren shouts at Boyd from below, trying to draw his attention away from the new girl.
“Oh, right,” Steve says, almost apologetically, before turning back to Eden. “Gimme a sec, okay? I’ll show you around the place after I’m done here with Alexis.”
“I can’t wait...” Eden replies, almost seductively, siding up to Steve’s side and draping an arm around his waist. “I’m looking forward to seeing you all in action.”
Below, however, Alexis’ face twists in rage, both from the exertion of that 100-pound bar-bell still hovering above her head, plus the audacity of this newbie laying her hands on her man.
“Hey, Cochella. f*ck off, will you?” Ren spits from down below.
“Say what?” Eden replies, her voice threatening and low, her eyes trained on Steve’s blushing features. “I couldn’t hear you from up here.”
“I said why don’t you leave us the f*ck alone,” Alexis half-shouts, the strain rising in her voice.
“Or what, honey?”
“Or I’ll kick your ass, that’s what,” Ren growling as she’s finally had enough.
The blonde practically tosses the barbell over her head - the metal landing on the ground with a loud BANG. Steve physically recoils as his star fighter leaps up from the bench-press to confront this new threat face-to-face.
It’s a tense staredown indeed as Ren gets in Cohen’s face, the two models of the same height and built, with Eden smirking with confidence at this latest development.
“Ladies, please,” Boyd says, trying to force himself in between both women. “I have enough time for both of you.”
But at this point, it’s more than having to share Boyd’s attention. Ren’s eyes narrowing, her lips twisted in a scowl at the prospect of this new girl replacing her spot on the roster. Suddenly, it’s become personal.
“Why don’t you crawl back into whatever hellhole you came from, b*tch?” Ren spits in her face.
“Hmph. There must be a reason why they keep bringing in Lightweights, huh? Maybe they’re trying to replace a certain overrated b*tch who thinks she’s the best--?!”
CRACK - the slap from Alexis echoes throughout the gym as her open hand connects square with Cohen’s cheek.
And just like that - the impromptu catfight was on.
In the moment, both ladies aren’t the best physical shape to take a shot at each other - Ren in the middle of a power-workout, her muscles still aching, and Cohen herself just going a couple of rounds with fellow Israeli model Schlomit Riger, leaving her at less than 100%.
Still, the animosity is real as both girls immediately tear into each other, hands lunging at hair as they go barreling into the side wall. Steve doing his best to intervene once he regains his composure, but both girls still sneak in a couple of head-bangers into the hard concrete, taking turns tugging and shoving each other’s heads back into the plywood before plugging free fists into tummies.
Finally, Steve manages to pry both models apart, and by that point in time, the rest of the VIX officials have come to the rescue, though it feels more like Boyd who needs rescuing, as Alexis and Eden are hauled apart by their sultry waist and shoulders, still taking swipes at each other till the last second.
One thing’s for sure though: Cohen might fit right into this locker room if she’s so eager and brazen to go toe-to-toe with the alpha Vixen backstage. Cohen even blowing Boyd a kiss on her way out of the gym hall, which makes Steve blush a deeper shade of red and Ren hurl even more obscenities towards her newest rival.
Things are still up in the air if Cohen will end up joining the VIX roster, but if she does, we can definitely expect plenty more fireworks in the months to come!
