ROUND ONE:
O'Dell: "Back and ringside and that's 'Date With The Night' by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and here comes the lovely Michelle Ryan!"
McCarthy: "Always liked this kid. I thought she was probably too small for welter...should have campaigned at light..."
Cassie: "Which is EXACTLY what Uncle Wiz said..."
McCarthy: "Then, I must be WRONG if I'm agreeing with Weirdo!"
O'Dell (sighing): "Ryan into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's looking plenty good and plenty physical in that orchid two-piece she's wearing. And, that's 'California Gurls' you hear behind us, and here comes 'The Santa Barbara Slugger', Katy Perry..."
Tess: "Interestingly, Taylor Hill, before she joined Front Street, fought Ryan on pay-per-view and stopped her in six. We'll see if Perry can match what her stablemate did."
O'Dell: "Katy into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and she's looking very, very good in that red number we've seen before. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Katy. Mac?"
McCarthy: "This Ryan kid is fine at light. I'm going with Michelle!"
O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Tess (laughing): "For those at home who missed it, a pudding filled balloon just shot out from under the ring and hit Mac dead in the face!"
McCarthy: "I'll SUE! You little...it's all in my HAIR...and...YUCK...it's TAPIOCA!"
Cassie: "They were having a sale at Giant..."
McCarthy: "You LITTLE..."
O'Dell: "Calm DOWN, Mac! Truck, get some towels out here for Mac and to clean up the announce table. Meanwhile, we still need Cassie's pick..."
Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"
O'Dell: "Here we go with Ryan getting right after Katy. Michelle backing up the blonde, getting very aggressive right now. Perry being forced to give ground in the face of a determined attack by Ryan. This might be another one of those 'not much to lose' situations, Mac..."
McCarthy: "Exactly. Nobody expect the brilliant Mac the Knife expects her to win!"
O'Dell: "Ryan pressing, sitting down on punches. Katy doesn't appear to be willing to go all in with her this early in the contest. Instead, Perry backing, covering, countering here and there while Ryan controls things, piling up points and punishment in the first..."
Tess: "And, going body now!"
O'Dell: "Definitely letting everything go at this point, and, again, no reason not to. Katy backed up again with a solid flurry from the British beauty. Perry ties up in there, trying to slow Ryan down, but Michelle shoves off and lands another combination at the bell. Ryan. Wide in the first."
Cassie: "And, Michelle up 10-9."
ROUND TWO:
O'Dell: "Perry holding ground as we begin the second. Ryan not slowing her roll, so we've got a FIREFIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! Hard-hitting lightweights trading welter-powered shots, and nobody backing up. Crowd on its feet as blonde and brunette bang away..."
Cassie: "Saw this coming. Katy's not going to get bullied in there..."
O'Dell: "GOOD right hand from Michelle and Perry bangs right back, sending Ryan backward a step. Michelle with a flurry and Perry felt a hard right in there, but Katy responds with a big left hook that sends Michelle back a step again! Bombs being tossed right now..."
McCarthy: "And, Ryan hanging right in there, just like I said!"
O'Dell: "Final seconds of the second round and it's been a crowd pleaser. ANOTHER sharp exchange and Katy may have gotten the better of that one. Michelle fires right back and backs up Katy and there's the bell. Close. But, Ryan's going to get the points..."
Tess: "And, Michelle leads 20-18."
ROUND THREE:
O'Dell: "Aggression continuing from the British brunette. She's going right after Katy committing on punches, getting very physical and Perry responding in kind. Blonde not giving an inch in there and SHE ROCKS RYAN! Michelle stumbling backward after a BLISTERING right hand..."
Tess: "How is she STANDING after that?"
O'Dell: "No idea, but Perry trying to correct that as we speak. She's letting the hands go, forcing Ryan back into the ropes and then digging some serious body. Michelle in the high guard, and she's got the ribs and midsection on sale. And, Perry's not going to pass up the bargain..."
Cassie: "Trying to bring those hands down..."
O'Dell: "Not succeeding, though, so Perry goes upstairs, then back down. She's banging away with both hands looking to finish this thing, but Michelle, as always, plenty sturdy, taking the punishment and staying on her feet right to the bell. Ryan survives, but Katy's got the round wide."
McCarthy: "Ryan still leads, 29-28."
ROUND FOUR:
O'Dell: "Katy looking to finish this thing now. She's walking Michelle down behind the left jab, dropping in hard rights, backing the brunette up steadily. Ryan not even trying to hold canvas. She's simply trading space for time right now, trying to get those sturdy legs back under her..."
McCarthy: "Just work through this and you'll be right back in the fight..."
O'Dell: "That seems to be the plan. But, in the meantime, Perry's piling up points, dominating the proceedings, getting tons of heavy leather on target. Ryan shipping that shell and staying afloat, but she's not getting anything done offensively at the moment, that's for sure."
Tess: "Trying to ride it out, and, to her credit, so far, it's working..."
O'Dell: "For the moment, it is. Perry now traps Michelle against the ropes and goes to work, hooking ribs and kidneys, then going back upstairs trying to find the 'off' switch. Not going to happen in this stanza. Ten seconds left. GOOD right from Perry and there's the bell. Katy. Shutout."
Cassie: "And, we're even at 38."
ROUND FIVE:
O'Dell: "Perry again on the attack. She's cleaned up, but she hasn't finished, and that's definitely the goal as she works forward again behind that left hand. Sound, patient stuff for the blonde, while the brunette plays D and gives ground. Ryan firing back a bit now, though..."
Tess: "Seems like the legs may be coming back for Michelle..."
O'Dell: "Definitely moving a bit better and getting more done, but Katy still in charge. Perry advancing steadily, working the jab, setting up the hard, accurate rights and DROPPING RYAN! Oh, what a right hand from the singer and Michelle is blown to her back!"
Cassie (singing): "Turn out the liiiiggghhhhtttsss. The party's ohhhhverrrrrr...."
O'Dell: "Katy to a neutral corner. Michelle down on her back, eyes closed, as the referee counts down at her. Count at three. Four. Five. No movement at ALL from Ryan. Six. Seven. McCarthy: "Lucky punch!"
AFTER:
O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Cassie Scerbo!"

Katy (nodding): "Just what I expected. This girl is a big, powerful light. She can hit. She can take a punch. She's no one to mess with in there. If she'd get regular work in this division, she'd beat a lot of girls."
