“HA! Nina with a title shot? Don’t make me puke,” Kelly says dismissively earlier on, after making her grand return to VIX soil that involves showing off a pair of bikini bottoms with the word “Lioness” emblazoned in bold for the cameras. “I’d say it again, VIX made a HUGE mistake by releasing me last year. And not only will I prove that fact by beating the next ‘contender’ to the Lightweight crown, but I’ll humiliate poor Agdal again for thinking she ever stood a shot.”
“It’s an attitude like that that got her fired, to be honest,” Nina replies from across the press table with a confident nod. “Kelly was a poor influence backstage in the locker room, and you can see why I’m honestly glad to have her in the opposing corner tonight. She and I? We’ve got beef that needs settling.”
Girls already fought once back in 2017, back when things were relatively more settled and the backstage atmosphere hadn’t yet been set on fire by Rohrbach’s departure. Back then, the newest Lioness starlet secured the win in under six rounds, but Agdal has come a long way since, finding herself challenging Taylor Hill for the Lightweight champion in just under a weeks’ time. Rohrbach smirking through the smoke though, looking down on her opponent during the official face-off at the podium, clearly thinking that Nina’s not as deserving as she is of this title opportunity.
In the ring, both blondes stand toe-to-toe with steady stares into each other’s faces, hands on their hips and daring the other to make a first move. Nina in a dark blue bikini, dirty blonde hair tied into a neat ponytail out back. Kelly’s gone for a sunflower bikini top and short denim hot pants, flexing white gloves on her way back to her corner. Referee waves his hand and HERE we go ten rounds of Lightweight action!
ROUND 1:
Nina shows a surprising level of aggression as she bounces forward early with both her hands raised, initiating the conversation with a testy shot to Kelly’s cheek to get things going. Rohrbach more of taking a defensive pattern at first, but even she’s surprised when the first blows catch her clean on the nose or lips, with Agdal not afraid of getting in close and personal to start off the action. Rohrbach returns a couple of jabs but they’re mostly without venom, the constant pressure of the Danish girl invading her personal space and the unease of being back on familiar, but bitter, turf is just too much for the Lioness blonde - Kelly takes another right hand to the mouth and has little choice but to retreat for now. Wide round goes to Agdal at the bell, who must be feeling confident with her first ever title shot looming on the horizon.
ROUND 2:
Rohrbach however growing testy herself as she weathers more punishment in the first minute, Agdal really not letting up the pressure with her rapid combos, headhunting the American blonde with more glancing blows to her face. Middle minute and Kelly’s had enough of all that, returns a hook simultaneously to show Nina who’s boss, a firm fist swiping across the Vixen’s cheek and drawing a loud grunt from her lips Things start to even out as Rohrbach roars in after to return the abuse, pays Nina back with more crunching shots that bunch up the cheek or snap uppercuts that threaten to take her head off. Agdal gets the memo, stays back and returns to jabbing action from afar, but she’s awoken the beast now in Kelly Rohrbach, who must certainly remember her unceremonious exit just a year ago as she evens out the score tonight.
ROUND 3:
Nina finds herself in more trouble as Kelly marches in straight and starts powering crosses straight into the middle of her guard - Nina’s defenses be damned as the blonde seems to single-handedly seek an early knockdown, blasting and blasting away at Nina’s arms, and occasionally scoring with a painful shocker to the lips or nostrils as Nina gets bullied across the ring and back. Agdal is trying to maintain her distance but it’s not working against the equally tall and determined blonde, Kelly maintaining equal footwork as she presses in after her, trounces her to the body with low swings that alternate between with cutting hooks battering at her arms. Nina cries out in pain as she’s driven into the ropes more than once, can only hope to clinch up at certain moments to avoid a complete rout of a round, but Kelly’s the one with the glorified smirk on her face as she strides back to corner looking on fire.
ROUND 4:
Kelly’s coming in hot once again as she punishes Nina with punches to the middle of her arms, the occasional swipe across her belly as all indications point to yet another dominant showing for the Lioness. How much more of this abuse can Nina take? That’s what the rest of us are wondering, as Agdal looks very much like the inferior version of her sultry counterpart, the one who stayed on the roster compared to the one who got away. Kelly on the verge of knocking her foe off her feet when Nina swerves to one side, an uppercut harmlessly cutting up into the air where her head had been a moment ago - eyes wide in shock as Kelly eats a crunching hook to her face instead, and then another driven glove is driven across her chin as Nina swings back with expert counter-punches! Kelly grunts as a final one-two combo catches her clean on the nose, and suddenly, the tables have turned, and Agdal doesn’t look like the helpless Vixen she fought all those years ago. Bell rings and Rohrbach still takes it from her earlier dominance, but something tells us this fight is about to go the distance!
ROUND 5:
Kelly not about to give any ground though, gesturing at Nina at the bell to “C’MON! BRING IT!”, to which Nina certainly obliges. Blondes get into a wild melee throughout the fifth, one girl closing distance and the other standing her ground, and the result is multiple clashes as gloves are shoved into the face and body, tall blondes clinched and dancing as they push and pull on each other’s shoulders for a better position, very loud grunts echoing through the arena as they take turns rotating each other’s heads to the side with dull hooks. Agdal finally gaining the upper hand from sheer tenacity and grit, wants this comeback win bad enough to body Kelly up on the ropes and bury her fist into her midsection for payback. Rohrbach heaving forward as she holds onto her foe’s shoulders and waistline, doesn’t get the chance however to return fire when the referee pulls the raging Dane off her at the bell.
ROUND 6:
Kelly switches to a defensive stance to catch her breath, but Nina’s all fired up and ready for a brawl 2.0. Agdal takes the chance to hammer some shots to her head with impunity, rarely drawing return fire from the overly cautious Kelly this round. Agdal gives chase with jabs, the occasional straight hand reaching just far enough to swipe at Kelly’s tummy. But Kelly makes the mistake of launching herself forward too early in a desperate counterattack, her overhand cross sailing in too hard and fast when Nina’s in the middle of a swing herself - POW - Kelly’s attack gets parried and blocked by sheer dumb luck, with Nina raising a forearm high to intercept at the right moment, and at the same time BLASTING the Lioness clean to the jawline with an uppercut of her own, and THAT SEEMS TO BE ENOUGH - Kelly’s head shot up into space, sent down to her back with a grunt, the impact knocking her clean off her feet in a beaut of a KNOCKDOWN for Nina Agdal!
Kelly’s left trying to lift her head off the canvas, eyelids blinking as she contemplates giving up for a moment, before realisation and rage flashes again in her eyes. She bangs the canvas with both gloves before pushing herself up by the count of 8! Sweetheart Agdal meanwhile is milking the moment for all its worth, strutting back to the neutral corner whilst blowing kisses to the crowd.
ROUND 7:
An early rush to finish her foe off, with Nina kicking things up a notch and throwing left and right bangers to the head and body, Kelly left groaning as she covers up in retreat. The round starts off with a blast to the forearms, another hook landing smack to the side of Kelly’s head as the Lioness goes spinning towards the ropes. Agdal on her case in a flash, another left-right thump to the belly and more uppercuts chopped into a rapidly deteriorating guard, but somehow, Rohrbach manages to stay upright, occasionally flinging arms around her former stablemate’s shoulders in an insincere embrace, sending the pair of blondes spiralling on and off the ropes whilst batting fists at each other flanks. Both girls look tired as hell though as the referee pries them apart at the bell, their blonde hair dishevelled over snarling faces as they push past each other on their way to respective corners.
ROUND 8:
Nina expended her reserves last round and suddenly, it’s Rohrbach’s turn for a comeback! The Lioness pounces at the first sign of weakness, slamming a right straight into Nina’s face good and early, which sends shivers down the Vixen’s spine, Nina’s head blown backwards and the rest of her body wavering on the spot. Rohrbach works over the model’s tummy, pushing inwards with lefts and rights thumped away on her body, bodying up and bowling Agdal over on the ropes, literally shoving her butt through as Nina’s lips suck air on the curve of her shoulder, her pain-racked face framed by a messy mane as she holds on to her foe for dear life. What began as a promising comeback for the Vixen now quickly deteriorating into an all-out rout, as Kelly decimates her body with low blows, all the while growling into her ear by the side, “YOU LIKE THAT, NINA?? HUH?!?” But thankfully, the referee saves the Vixen at the bell, pulling Kelly off at the tail end of this beating. Nina stays afloat along enough to make it to the next round, and it’s just a matter of who wants it more as we head into the final stretch of this fight!
ROUND 9:
More wild tie-ups in the middle of the ring as both blondes stumble forward and start throwing punches at the sight of each other. Kelly lands a first shot across Nina’s face that draws a grunt, but the Danish model comes right back with an angled shot of her own, flinging Kelly’s head to the side as well. Back-and-forth they go, torturing the crap out of each other, till Kelly stacks Agdal upwards with an uppercut packed into the chin - POW!! Nina seems to sag on the spot, her head snapped up and back as she goes floundering a couple of steps hurt. Kelly powers through the pain, snapping her head right with another hook to the face, before yet another left glove catches Nina on the jaw, and THAT SEEMS TO BE ITTTT!! NINA’S STRINGS CUT AS SHE FADES DOWN INTO A HEAP, her arms draped high over her head as the referee counts her out to 10 with nary a sliver of movement! There goes the bell and this fight’s OVER!
Official Decision: Kelly Rohrbach defeats Nina Agdal via KO9!
AFTER:
A ferocious battle indeed as the newest Lioness proves her salt for her new stable, and Agdal fails to take her revenge in a crushing defeat! What’s worse is the fact that the Vixen’s due for a championship fight in just a few days’ time, meaning Lightweight champion Taylor Hill must SURELY be shaking her head with a knowing grin somewhere backstage as she watches her future opponent get laid out on the canvas so easily.
“I TOLD YA!! DIDN’T I TELL YA??” Kelly roars to the arena as she leaps from the ropes and runs back to her new family, sticking out her tongue and making rude gestures towards the VIX side of the ring on purpose along the way. “Those fools shouldn’t have let me go! I can’t believe they kept Nina over me?? Absolutely disgusting! I should be the one facing Hill for the title next week! Not Nina!”
Meanwhile, Nina’s slowly gaining consciousness in her own corner, loud cheers of encouragement echoing in her ears as she takes in the concerned looks of her fight team. The Vixen’s rounding 2020 with a disappointing loss tonight, her confidence surely shattered going into the championship fight on Friday. Before Kelly can bully her way over to humiliate her some more, Nina’s quickly escorted by her team out of the ring and up the ramp.
All that’s left are Kelly’s smiles as she celebrates in the Lioness corner, soaking in the cheers as she takes the first victory of the night for her newest stable. If their luck holds, one might say the night is just getting started, with yet a fellow Lioness set to do battle with her alpha-Vixen counterpart, coming up soon!
