Ren’s made a fatal error in offering me this title shot tonight,” Rosie replying from across the table. “Not only am I better and more good looking, I will also happen to be the third Lightweight fighter from Fates to hold the Lightweight title after I’m done with Ren tonight. Some punk-ass Instagram model isn’t going to stand in my way, I can guarantee you that.”
Venomous spat escalating at the weigh-ins as Ren gets a little too close to Rosie’s face during the staredown, the blonde continuing to spout insults in the Brit’s face till she gets SLAPPED hard on the face by a no-nonsense Rosie! Loud snarl from Ren’s throat as she cradles her cheek for a suspended second before LUNGING back at the older model, the entire stage descending into chaos as the two women go to the ground in a tumble of shrieks and hair-pulling.
Well, what else is new from a Ren fight? Clearly, becoming Lightweight champion hasn’t humbled the wild Vixen in any shape or form, but at least this time it wasn’t her who started the festivities. Rosie and Alexis are pulled apart by their respective corners, not before Ren doubles the blonde over with a stuffed fist to the tummy. Save the action for later, girls!
Fight night rolls around and the challenger is the first to emerge from the curtains, Rosie looking like a Victoria Secret angel all over as she strides down the ramp in a satin pink bra top and beige briefs. She may be a good decade older than Ren, but that incredible physique tells us that her fitness ain’t gonna be an issue in tonight’s contest. Ren next into the stadium, a black bralette for top and later removing her hot denim shorts to reveal a similar-coloured fighting thong. The Vixen snarls at Rosie in her corner, eyeing her foe at the other end of the line.
Ladies of course refusing to touch gloves in the middle of the ring: Rosie’s red to Alexis’ white already raised to their faces, ready to brawl. Without further ado, the ref waves for the bell and the start to these ten rounds of Lightweight action. This here’s for the Unified Lightweight championship!
ROUND 1:
Girls get right to it, roar of the crowds at their backs as they settle into motion with punches thrown right down the middle. Despite Ren’s cutting words from earlier, no personal vendetta here with her opponent, Rosie just another wannabe contender to her belt. Still, that doesn’t stop Huntington from landing her own precise snaps to the Vixen’s face, and the two women seem equal in terms of skill and speed as they continue to punish each other with short and snappy hits to the chin or nose, rocking the head back from each impact. Ren however comes to her senses a little earlier, goes moving backwards in the final minute in a false retreat. Rosie thinks she’s got the champ on the run early, rushes in after her only to suffer a stream of counter-jabs to her face to give Ren the opening round.
ROUND 2:
Huntington not about to make the same mistake twice though. Both lanky girls keep their distance this time, circling whilst firing lunging jabs once they get in range. Alexis squealing as the taller girl exacts revenge with long-distance punches that snag her on the cheek or chest, losing her cool by the third minute as she struggles to maintain distance but also land her own shots. Rosie gets a little too cocky, however, after another left-right combo hits its mark on the champ’s body, doesn’t expect Ren to wade in after that and sock her clean on the chin, which snaps the model’s head back with a sudden uppercut sent in outta nowhere. Ren that kind of slippery snake as she pours in her own abuse in the final minute, fast swings towards the Rosie’s head as she’s determined not to lose a single round to the challenger. Rosie defending but her body taking some punishment as the leather gloves pound in like a drum. End result is an equal draw from both girls’ performances.

Rosie imposing her height on the shorter champ, playing to her strengths as she doesn't let Ren get in close, instead shoves right hands into her face each time Ren gets cocky and lowers her guard on her watch. Ren lets out grunts as she's taking unnecessary punishment to the face, her cheek caved in or chin snapped backwards as the VIX corner looks on, worried as hell. But Ren circles back outwards, regroups in the last minute, hiding her reddened cheeks behind a closed guard even as she keeps her distance from Rosie’s attacks. Rosie comes away this round with a much needed stake in the ground, smiling wide as she raises a hand high on her way back to corner, leaving Ren steaming and cursing at her own cornermen after getting manhandled like that.

Ren switches strategy and stays at a distance where Rosie's flurries can't quite reach her face, with the British model having to wade in closer and faster in order to tag the blonde on her arms. All part of Ren's strategy as she tires her counterpart out, all the while slamming countershots into Rosie's chest and cheek for good measure, paying her back in spades. It’s Huntington's turn to growl in frustration as a third such strike finds its mark, Ren gleefully jumping out of the way of a return hook to reclaim her lead. But the rest of the night is young, with plenty of twists and turns yet to come. Rosie biding her time till the bell, keeping her guard high as she returns fire towards Ren’s head, which halts a perfect wipeout performance from the Vixen.

Alexis getting cocky as usual about mid-way through this fight, haphazardly leaping this way and that as she pesters Rosie to the head with punches but doesn’t realise that Huntington can actually punch back. The Vixen lets out a loud, jarring grunt as a sudden cross from Rosie disappears into her face, and then another one-two combo bangs into the forehead as Rosie uses her long-range methodology to dictate terms. Noone could have expected Rosie to reach this point of her career in the first place, now battling Ren for the Lightweight title itself, and it’s all due to Fates Boxing’s efforts at turning a flagging career around. Whiteley doesn’t disappoint here, continuing to hammer shots between Ren’s guard, targeting the champ’s face and chin in a steady stream of jabs, to the point where Ren suddenly looks wobbly on her feet! She’s getting dismantled this round by Rosie’s focused punching, suddenly letting out a shout of pain as she’s BOWLED over by a stomping right cross delivered to the chin!! OUCH!! Ren hits the canvas in bewildered fashion, a couple of seconds blinking up at the lights in surprise before the rest of this arena ERUPTS in cheers for the unlikely challenger! Could this be it??

But Ren’s not knocked out cold, just felled temporarily, already scampering back to her knees and then to her feet in a show of stubbornness by the count of 8. A scare back there for the VIX corner as Ren maybe needed a reminder to take her opponent more seriously.

Of course, the hard lessons are the hardest to internalise, and Ren spends the sixth equally flabbergasted by Rosie’s power, speed and poise, with the ex-Transformers starlet and Victoria’s Secret model doing everything in her power to try and put the champ down again for the count. Rosie scoots forward on longer legs, bashing tight shots into the guard and tummy whenever Ren exposes her body for too long, the Vixen letting out grunts and groans, her lips parted wide and eyes bulging before she manages to escape in the nick of time after surviving the blitz attack forward. Rosie still chugging forward, but it isn’t enough to pin the slippery blonde down in the remainder of the round, even after chasing Ren across the ring and back - at least it doesn’t paint a very flattering picture of a champion on the run. Rosie takes the sixth by a shutout performance as a result, but there’s a clear look of disappointment on her face, clearly expecting to take home the gold by this stage of the fight.

Alexis however, a quick study as current champion, flies back into the action when she side-steps an early cross from Rosie and then NAILS the challenger back with a cuffing hook to the cheek. Rosie still undeterred, however, keeps up the pressure with another flurry of jabs sent towards Ren’s face but they’re off-center, gets dazed by another deft hook after Ren leaps in to score a follow-up fast. Girls land simultaneously shots to the head and body for a good few seconds, neither girl backing down, but Ren ultimately proving to be the more agile fighter as she weaves and dodges around Rosie’s slower hooks before rocking the challenger with swings to her tummy and chest. Rosie of course not about to lose her advantage so easily, succeeds in keeping Ren at bay late in the round with more jabs to the chin, and the last minute sees both fighters in another tepid dance back and forth as they try to exploit each other’s weaknesses.

But it all goes downhill when Alexis shimmies her shoulders in the opening seconds before RAMMING a right hand clean into Rosie’s face, drawing a loud gurgle from the Fates fighter’s lips and then throwing the rest of her game plan into disarray. Rosie apparently hurt by that one blow that (arguably) landed lucky, Ren giving chase after as more gloves stuck into every inch of her lithe frame. Rosie diligently defending but it’s difficult to stay a madwoman, least of all someone as erratic as Alexis Ren, the Vixen throwing her last energies into the final rounds as she presses Rosie back to the ropes whilst wailing on her guard, occasionally knocking her head to the side with leap in hooks that bang into the arms and make her stumble hard. Another shutout round returns for the Vixen, who’s surely seeing light at the end of the tunnel. For now, however, neither girl has pulled ahead, and as the bell rings, it’s going to be a matter of which woman wants the gold more!

First minute sees both women rushing in to batter each other silly, but this time, neither of them are seeking a way out - it’s a do or die moment as they turns swivelling each other’s heads to the side, whips of blonde and brunette hair in different directions as their heads get whipped from dual punishment. Rosie sees some early success as she keeps Ren at bay with long jabs, then lands a nasty hook across the champ’s face, but Ren just too stubborn and charging in regardless, negating the challenger’s reach as she gets close enough to bury a gut-shot into the tummy, before repaying the earlier favour with a hook sent across the face, which sends Rosie stumbling into the ropes with a groan! Things not looking good for the challenger with Rosie recovering just in time to turn around and EAT another hook to her head, which sends her torso reeling precariously over the top rope. Ren no longer playing nice, snarling low as she crowds in, buries uppercuts into the body in one-two-three hup hup hup hup fashion, Rosie bent over and gasping in her arms, her chin PRIMED for an upwards BLAST to the chin that MAKES HER CRUMPLE on the spot!! UGHH!! Rosie’s teeth knocked up into her skull as she lies there by the side of the ropes, clutching her jaw in agony!! Referee starts the count after shoving Ren back to the neutral corner, but it ain’t no use! Count of 10 passes and Rosie stays down on all fours!! This fight’s OVER!!

A huge KO-win for the champion, who finally gets tested to her limit, Ren both looking elated and relieved as she roars out of neutral corner with her arms held high. A series of difficult challengers in recent months and the Vixen hasn’t shied away from any of the worthy contenders who had hoped to steal her thunder.
Immediately, she’s shedding her gloves and stalking over to Rosie’s corner, the Fates starlet now sitting wasted on her stool, barely able to lift her head as the shadow of Ren’s towering figure looms over her precariously.
“STAY DOWN, b*tch!!” Ren hisses down at her, before a CRACK echoes across Whiteley’s cheek, Ren sending open palm after open palm connecting with her face
Rosie suddenly explodes forward, trying to fend her assailant’s attack with her own flailing hands. But Ren grabs hold of her broken form by Rosie’s messed-up hair, drawing groans from her lips as she digs a knee into the chest and tummy to subdue her further.
