Hannah Ferguson vs Devon Windsor

BEFORE:
The next blonde titans have never met in the ring, with Hannah Ferguson all tied up with making friends all over and Devon Windsor never really recovered from some early losses in her brief career. Still, Windsor has never looked leaner and hungrier than tonight, wanting to make a statement in her first bout of 2020.
“Hannah’s fallen to second-class status. Just look at her record - she’s lost twice in a row to Tahnee Atkinson, and before that, twice in a row to Decker just last year. I think it’s about time I overtook her, don’t you?” Devon says, smirking from the press table and doing her best to rub in Ferguson’s past losses like not-so-subtle twists of the knife into her side.
“Says the girl who’s lost the past four fights, and counting…” Hannah retorts from her end of the table, batting those long eyelashes and trying to look unaffected by the mention of her most hated rivals in the business. “And funny you mention Decker, whom I heard cleaned your clock in under four rounds.”
“Honey, I never said I was *better* than Decker - well, maybe one day I will be - I said it was clear that Decker was better than *you*. Right now, it’s also clear you don’t stand a chance against either one of us.”
Sounds of tables and chairs being scraped across the floor as Ferguson immediately rises and stomps her way towards Devon, who has a bewildered look on her face when she sees the enraged woman approaching her, continuing to spout offinsults. But before these two can close distance, the ring officials are already stuck in between, holding Hannah and Devon back to prevent an early dust-up. They’ll get plenty of opportunities later on in the ring… For now, ladies are escorted backstage without the customary face-off at the podium.
Later on, it’s Devon who enters the arena first, dressed in a sparkling silver bikini and white gloves, her platinum blonde hair tied up high into a battle bun. Hannah enters next, to much less fanfare, a serious look etched on her face as she looks ready to rumble in a red bikini top and hot denim shorts, black leather gloves on either hand. Without further ado, there goes the bell and HERE we go with ten rounds of Welterweight action!
ROUND 1:
Start of the action is tame compared to some of the other blockbusters we’ve witnessed on tonight’s PPV match card, with both blondes circling and jabbing periodically from afar. Arguably, Hannah’s never been one to charge in, all aggressively, and Devon hasn’t fought much in the ring either to discern her general pattern of behaviour. Still, it’s a surprise when Devon makes a sudden rush into Hannah’s vicinity, fast flurries fired at the Vixen’s head and body that are designed to overwhelm her quickly, before Devon retreats out of the way of any counterattack. Hannah takes some shots to her face and body as a result, tries to blast her way back with a hook or two but can’t quite catch the taller girl in the act. Round would have ended in a draw if Devon hadn’t been so bold, so kudos to her.
ROUND 2:
Hannah however grows a little wiser in the second, anticipating Devon’s attacks with a flurry of return punches of her own, and the two women engage in a close quarters tussle near the end of the first minute, madly sticking gloves into each other’s face before Ferguson lands a textbook hook to the lanky girl’s body, and another crashing into her arms, sending Windsor packing. Devon may be slightly taller but she doesn’t have the same mass as some of her counterparts do, and to her credit, she manages to get out of the way of a subsequent charge from Hannah due to those longer legs and greater agility. Rest of the round sees a return to jabs from a distance, with both ladies moving a little more securely now after having taken and dished out punishment.
ROUND 3:
Windsor’s still dancing around her corner, bouncing foot to foot as she utilises her lighter frame to outbox the former champion this round. Hannah’s more methodical with a slow advance forward, hoping to trap Devon in a corner and exact the punishment. But Devon too slippery at this point, dodges and weaves around her jabs, then returns fire with a side-step here, slap of leather into tummy, another step over there and a bang of fist to the Vixen’s cheek. Hannah grows frustrated as a result, not liking the direction of where this fight is heading. Last minute has her pull back and lock her guard firm, allowing Devon to get close before ripping powerful cross-hands to the center of her arms and body. Still, the bell rings soon after, and Windsor’s damage early on wins her this round by a close margin.
ROUND 4:
Another wild melee occurs in the center of the ring as both blondes want to surge ahead in points. Hannah takes the advice of her corner team and displays plenty of forward aggression early on as she charges straight into Devon’s space and then throws hook combos to try and knock her fellow blonde down. Devon absorbs the sudden abuse on her arms, grunting as her tummy takes a pasting or two, but then ends up tangling with Hannah, their arms around each other’s neck as they wrestle for dominance in close quarters. Windsor knocks some sense into the side of the face whilst Ferguson continues to punish her breasts and belly below with stiff swipes and uppercuts. Soon, referee’s seen enough after thirty seconds or so, separating both women, who are now panting hard from the exertion. Rest of the round has them reset at opposite ends of the ring, circling a little more slowly, tentative jabs towards the head as they concede the fourth round as a draw.
ROUND 5:
BLAST of a right hand straight down the middle and suddenly, Hannah takes control of this fight! The former champ throws everything she has at Devon this round, hoping something will stick, as she plows into a winded Devon with tooth and nail. Windsor taken by surprise again as she goes flying into the ropes repeatedly, her guard eating abuse or tummy taking a pounding from hooks, with Hannah determined to get in close to finish her off but each time just a tad too slow. At least the strategy’s paying off for now, with Windsor just too shellshocked to throw anything back in comparison, her sole focus on getting the f*ck outta Hannah’s way. Of course, we don’t know whether this might be a sound strategy for Ferguson in the long run, with the Vixen looking tired by the time the bell rings - she’s taken a shutout round for herself, but ultimately failed to meet the objective of actually knocking Devon out.
ROUND 6:
Devon however looks not much better when the bell sounds for the sixth. She’s stepping out of her corner looking winded and light-footed, and a couple of jabs to Hannah’s head are brushed aside like flies being swatted out of the air. Before anyone knows what’s happening, Ferguson lunges forward with a fist connecting with Windsor’s face, nailing her fellow model right on the nose. Devon grunting, but powerless to do much else as another and another right hand is powered through her guard, simply knocking the blonde silly! Devon’s eyes flashing white as she sways on the spot, her guard swaying and barely up, when POW - Hannah steps in and BLASTS her straight on the chin, FLOORING WINDSOR ONTO HER BACK!!
KNOCKDOWN for Hannah Ferguson! And none too soon! Windsor completely knocked off her rocker as she lies still on the ground, spreadeagled and chest rising and falling hard! Referee performs his mandatory 10-count but it’s absolutely no use for the other blonde! He waves his arms and calls for the bell!
Official Decision: Hannah Ferguson defeats Devon Windsor via KO6!
AFTER:
Modest celebration from Hannah as a smile of relief dominates her face. She allows her hand to be raised by the referee before she heads over to Devon’s corner.
Windsor at first looking anxious as the former JMDD champ nears dangerously close, but Hannah instead offers a hand to pull her up. The two blondes share a brief embrace and congratulatory remarks side-by-side, reconciling now despite all the bad press they shared earlier.
“Devon has potential, sure,” Hannah later speaks to reporters by ring-side. “But I always knew I was gonna win. She needs some work, and if she ever wants a rematch or a sparring partner, I’ll be ready and waiting. For now, I’ve still got a score to settle with Tahnee and Brooklyn.”
