Fates walks over to his desk and takes a piece of paper out of his folder before looking into the camera.
“For those who thought that there would be more roster changes than just simply adding Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, you would be correct. Especially those of you who suspected that those changes would include welterweights. We have taken a long, hard look at our welterweight position and determined that changes needed to be made.”
“We want to get the unfortunate news out of the way first. After discussions and evaluations of recent performance, we have made the tough decision to let Behati Prinsloo go as a free agent, and are thankful for all that she has done for the stable. We’ve come to the conclusion that while she has had some success with us, that it is in both parties’ best interest to head their separate ways, and we wish her the best in her future endeavors.”
“Our second topic at the welterweights is that after discussing with Ana Beatriz Barros, she will be transitioning to our trainer and working more closely with our other fighters. That doesn’t mean that she won’t fight every now and then – transition means a transition, not an immediate change. She has brought it to our attention that while she loves to get out there and fight, she’s almost getting to cougar age, and wants to help the stable in whatever ways she can. We are happy to have Ana around, and are looking forward to her being a part of the stable in different ways.”
“Lastly, those of you who are paying attention would notice that we don’t exactly have a truly dedicated welterweight. Well, I can confirm that as of last night, we have signed a new welterweight from another stable.” Fates waves the piece of paper he took out of his folder briefly before setting it down.
“Now, I know that everyone is wondering who she is. Well, you’re going to have to wait a bit more than 24 hours to do so. She will be making her debut for Fates tomorrow in an update to our Spring Fling card. The fight will be between our newest member squaring off against free agent Iggy Azalea in what will be the fifth fight of the night. The other fights will all be the same – the only adjustments are that the bout between Taylor Hill and Blake Lively will now be the sixth fight, and the main event for the FCBA Lightweight Title between Kendall Jenner and the Champ in Emily DiDonato will be the seventh and final fight of the night.”
“We’ll see you all tomorrow night, and we are looking forward to moving forward with our new welterweight group.”
