Hello ladies and gentlemen of the press, to think this is my fourth year running the Girls Friday stable, I have loved every moment of being part of the BBU and FCBA.
Now don't worry this isn't me announcing I've sold the stable (laughs) but if you have followed my time here, I have not been afraid to make changes, the worst thing that can happen to a stable is that it gets too static, this is going to be the biggest changes we have made since I took over.
First up I want to announce we have a new PR manager as part of our management structure, I will let her come up here and tell you the rest of our changes, please welcome into the ring Holly Willoughby!
(Holly steps out into the gym and moves to the ring, climbing the steps in her heels with a big smile, she climbs through the ropes and gets a kiss on the cheek from Harry, who then waves that the stage is hers)
Holly: gosh it is great to be standing here in front of you guys, I got offered the role within the stable over the holidays.
I have been part of this stable since the beginning, the growth over these past few years has been astounding to be part of, now I get to stand and speak to you guys more extolling the greatness of this place.
But sadly first I have to announce several people being cut from the roster, so I want to the following for their service to the stable, we wish them the best of luck going forwards in their careers.
These are the women who have been cut:
*Sara Sampaio*
*Poppy Drayton*
And
*Clara Morgane*
We also have some more changes to announce, this time with our coaching, we have been thinking hard on this as a management group, we have to say goodbye though to Lauren Berlingeri as our stables assistant coach to Taryn, hopefully a stable picks her up as I can tell you from experience that she is a hell of a coach.
But we felt that we need to find that bit extra to move our stable that extra gear up, after much discussion we came up with getting coaches specifically for the different weight divisions within our stable, Taryn of course will continue being our head coach with the following women working under her to train our wonderful fighters.
So first welcome our first new coach, the Flyweight coach is Ming-Na Wen!
(Ming-Na comes inside the ring to hug Holly, before shaking the hands with the rest of the people in the ring, smiling as she leans on the ropes facing the media)
She of course knows our Elizabeth (Henstridge) she has helped the likes of Chloe Bennett as well get prepared for the rigors of the celebrity boxing well, we hope she can ignite our flyweight division.
Next up for our bantamweight division is the tough as nails Hilary Swank!
(Hilary waves to the media as she strolls to the ring, getting through the ropes to shake the hands of everyone in the ring, hugging Mina-Na as both look excited by the prospect ahead for them)
We have been shocked Hilary never got into the pro ring, I saw her in the amateur ranks and she was a knockout then, with her coaching several of the New Blood fighters in those camps.
Now to lightweight, this was one we needed to focus on who our fighters background, in the end our BBU lightweight champion Alessandra Ambrosio recommended this woman, please welcome Gisele Bundchen!
With her history of holding titles it was a no brainer that we would pick someone who the girls look up to in our lightweight corps.
(Gisele steps inside the ring and poses hands on hips for the cameras, smiling as she joins the rest of the group behind Holly)
Finally but certainly not least of our coaching team, we wanted one of the hardest workers in welterweight history, please welcome Rebecca Romijn!
(Rebecca steps into the ring flexing her arms with a grin, then joining the other coaches as all quickly chat about this moment and how they are feeling going forwards)
Rebecca was one of the fittest fighters around in her prime, hell just look at her, physically she is impressive and we all look forwards to her pushing our welterweights to be physically fitter and stronger.
That's all the changes guys, we have achieved a lot over the last five years, still we have goals for our fighters and hopefully we have chosen the right path to do that, keep watch on us to make that step forwards, thank you for taking your time to listen to us.
(All the group stand together at the center of the ring side by side in a line, all smiling as cameras flash capturing this possibly major moment for the Girls Friday stable)
